You can customize them such as this:

Title: Sugar Daddy Dating Profile On SomeSite.com
Desc: You know how we like to find new sites here ar Sugar Daddy Dating and we really liked this site http://somesite.com which provided us with a ton of great information.... etc

The quality of the post helps get more links indexed and you can mix it up as you like. You dont have to have the keywords in there but it helps. Sometimes the system generates titles and descriptions that don't make much sense (because of the way the page with your link on is built) so you have to make tweaks where needed.

All the best

While linking the accounts to ping.fm, there are options "microblogging" and "status updates". Are both the same thing? Shall I leave the defaults?

Sean, could you take a look at this thread at BHW? It talks about getting 100 backlinks everytime you update your blog. Could you possible incorperate this somehow into BLB?

That link is a redirect and just loads some ad page.

There is a discussion about this, with the same title 100-backlinks-everytime-you-update-your-blog on digital point.

They are talking about a micro blogging service called identi.ca which is PR7 and looks like a legit service.

@PKB - Ignore the status options, try and use Blog where possible and Micro-blog where blog is not available. Make sure you only have Blog or Microblog enabled otherwise you could end up with 2 posts per boost.

@Ron & Jamie - We have been looking at Indenti.ca style sites as a possible addon as well as some other services. The additional Do-Follow links are a very viable boost to what we have going on and we have some other cool stuff in the pipeline that is going to explode Backlink Booster to a whole new level...

Keep an eye out of some new videos coming soon.....

All the best

LOL this thread is a bit of a monster!

In answer to your question, yes, you can do that or extract the urls and import them into the dripfeeder and have them boosted automatically.

Hi Sean, When I choose a backlink to promote (most are wordpress sites) The titles and descriptions are either duplicates or jibberish and I have to edit them before I submit.

I would like to use the drip feeder function with all my lists, but I really can't because of the title/dscription problem. Is there anything you can suggest I can do?

Hi there,

We actually have the spinoveride feature in the latest update that allows you to force the dripfeeder to use the spun titles and descriptions for the dripfed links.

Quick Question:

If I'm using an "Angela BL" with, say, a PR-1, how long would you estimate it would take your Booster to boost it to a PR-2 ... or for that matter, a PR-10 (since it "... makes your BLs 1000 times more powerful"?!)?

I realize you don't have a crystal ball and that a lot goes in to a PR, but since you're saying it makes BLs a 1,000 times more powerful, I wanted to get *some* idea how/why you estimate its power as being that much.

BTW, did you say that I could use this to boost *any* BL, such as one from an article directory?

Thanks,
Richard

PS My apologies if you've answered this question in an earlier post, but I've apparently gotten to this part late ... 25 pages of posts! Dang!!

When there's an update, will I get an email?

I purchased BB 2 days ago. On Page 1 of this thread, there's "Backlink Booster Update 1.5 (Feb 19th 2010)". Which one is the latest? The one I downloaded after purchasing or the one on Page1?

Hi Sean,

I set up the software and the RSS feed, then created a few backlinks and boosted them. Tonight I bought the KSoft RSS Submit software, installed it, added the URL to my RSS submit, and clicked "Validate" to validate the RSS feed. To my surprise, it opened a browser tag that took me to:
Feed Validator Results: http://www.sugarbaby4u.com/blb/blbrss.php

It reads:

Sorry

This feed does not validate.
In addition, interoperability with the widest range of feed readers could be improved by implementing the following recommendation.
  • line 123, column 0: Missing atom:link with rel="self" [help]
    </channel>

@RBowen - Yes you can boost any backlink, Profile link, Article, Video, etc. And as for PR jumps, that really depends on Google. They recalculate PR every few months so it's hard to say what you will see in terms of PR increase. The PR is not really the factor though, it is the link juice itself (which is almost instant when the backlinks are indexed)

@TonyGol - Don't worry about it, seriously those are just warnings. All the RSS directories will be cool with your feed. We use standard items in the RSS and it will work just fine.

@Kelvin - Did you submit a ticket to our support center? The Manic Marketer Support Center - They will take care of that for you quickly. Most of our emails are blind emails (no human reads them) and they should have sent you a reply directing you to our support center. We have a dedicated team on hand to help you.

All the best

Sean

Do I really need this software - Backlink Booster?

I've been asking myself this question and just looking for a simple answer...

Firstly, this is what I do by hand.

1. Take all my profiles backlinks and add them to an RSS feed. I post this RSS feed to 4 or 5 popular aggregator sites.
2. I 'pingler' all the profile backlink pages individually with a keyword related description. I can't automate this so far.
3. I use Ping-FM to post my individual backlink pages to my WEB2 sites - I post 2 profile links per post with relevant descriptions.
4. I then take the RSS feeds from each of my WEB2 sites and post them to the same aggregators as in step 1.

Now obviously BB would save me TIME but is it honestly offering me anything more in terms of link exposure?
I have to say that my method doesn't seem to be working very well in terms of those pages being indexed - but I only started profile linking and boosting about a month ago, so would BB have got me better results?

Also - how do you guys boost your WEB2 sites when you first created them. Surely this whole system is reliant on the WEB2 sites getting indexed asap.

Thanks for your thoughts in advance.

Good Afternoon,

You seem to have a very similar approach so let me help you speed all that up, add some extra elements and throw in some automation for good measure.

First, you have an existing link network, so you save some time there. In addition to what you have you can hook up Onlywire for semi-automated Social Bookmarking or export the urls for importing into Social Bot, SENuke, Bookmarking Demon, etc.

Next, we have the dripfeeder. This allows you to mass import your URLS and have them automatically boosted based on what you have going on.

Also, you are creating all those descriptions, titles and doing a lot of manual work just as I used to before creating this. That's why we grab all the data from the sites or use Spin Titles and Descriptions and create more content for you.

Lastly, your results have been poor from your manual exploits and that is a shame. We have a pretty good indexing rate from this strategy (you actually get the full strategy and the script) with many extra levels you may not have considered.

All the best

Thanks Sean,
The script you provide, where does that run from? Would I need to upload it someplace ?

Hi there,

It installs on your server. Any host will suffice as long as it has PHP5 and MySQL.

All the best

Hi Sean, how do I actually do or configure this?

Please advise, thanks.

Hi Patrick,

All you do is go to your backlink (where it shows the link to any website you own) and boost it. The script will then send a ton of backlinks back to that page you just boosted. It does not matter where that backlink on the page actually points.

Hope that makes sense

All the best

We are looking to add that to future versions and the current Dripfeeder can currently boost all the urls you import via a simple text file.

You can dripfeed as many links as you like per day. However, you would want to restrict it to reasonable levels so you don't get slapped by the web 2.0 sites. That being said, we do allow you to add multiple Ping.FM accounts and randomize postings between then to mitigate this issue.

All the best

Hi Sean,

I changed the name of the file blbrss.php. I will now update my rss submissions to reflect this. But when I boost a backlink in the results page all is fine except that at the bottom of the page it displays the default rss file name blbrss.php. Do I need to change anywhere else the filename?

Thanks,
Kishore

Hi there,

That item is not changeable as it does not know what you changed the file to. As long as you know where it is, don't worry about it. Just ignore that old link

@skatir - Congratulations on your success. We have a lot more plans for the future of Backlink Booster so keep your eyes peeled and may your success continue!

@Tamzina - This is mostly aimed at junk blog comments. One thing I and a lot of other SEO professionals recommend is make sure that any link you put out there has value. For blog comments, contribute to the conversation, comment on the post "For Real" and share opinions. Many people just put out "Great post, now click my link" type comments that are bound to get slapped.

With Backlink Booster we recommend creating a nice "Description" and title that has value and comments on the site, etc. This is seen as valuable content with a link attached. A vast difference that "Click my obvious spammed link dammit!" type posts.

The golden rule of SEO is valuable content + link = SEO Gold.

All the best

Hi Sean,

I'm keen to purchase BB but my website is created with moonfruit.com. Would you app/script still work? I know I can add HTML snippets, but I'm not sure what is meant by placing your script on my server.

thanks

Hi there,

I am not familiar with Moonfruit.com. However, it looks pretty limited in terms of what you can add at first glance. This script installs like Wordpress in that you upload it to your host using FTP and then run an installer online through your browser.

I do not think you can do this with Moonfruit.com but we do recommend cheap hosting with places like Hostgator.com, etc. As they give you the flexability of a full powered webhost and you can run this script from there.

If you are not familiar with script installation we do offer a full installation service for $40 and we will hook it up for you.

All the best

Hi Sean , can you please PM what your installation service would give me and what you'd need from me to do it.

So if a purchased a host account - you'd do the rest? I can run this in addition to my existing moonfruit site ?

Thank you!

Hello,

In the first week I purchased the BB i, by mistake, Boosted the webpage i was linking to, not the links...

Anyhow, a month later, when i look at the Yahoo Site Explorer I don't see a single link from that Boost...

Did I misunderstand something?

(I --now-- know i'm not supposed to boost the landing page, but the backlinks but how come the landing page i did boost doesn't boast any backlinks??

There could be any number of reasons for that. First of all, I take it you are building backlinks in the first place to that site right? Also, you have fully setup your link network with Web 2.0 sites, ping.fm? Do you also use the Social Bookmarking option for Onlywire?

If needed open a ticket here and we can make sure your hooked up correctly: The Manic Marketer Support Center

Hey Sean Just A Quick Question with indexing.
If you add lets say profile links to a new blogger in the links section of your blog... and then it IS Indexed by google... will google index all the links that were put there in the links section as well?
Thank you,

Hi Sean

You stated in the instructions that every one of my Web 2.0 profiles has an RSS feed, but how do I find the RSS feed for each of my Web 2.0 profiles?

I believe I found it for Twitter, but not much luck with Facebook and My Space. Haven't tried the others yet. I really want to get the Web 2.0 Overload in operation before I boost my links.

Thanks for your help.

Hi Sean

Also in your TPBS you say to take my one original RSS feed and create a new unique feed from my one original feed with RSS mix.

Is this what I am going to be doing with yahoo pipes? Inputting my one original feed into the yahoo pipes to create another unique feed?

Thanks

@MamaDada - That should be the case as Google crawls everything it finds in it's travels or at least adds it to the list to crawl later.

@Matthew - Most of them will have an RSS feed. Just look for the RSS feed icon in your browser when you visit your profile (the easiest way) or on the page for a RSS Icon on the main page of your account. Some, like facebook, don't have them. If you don't find one, don't worry and move on.

As for you second question, yes, that is exactly what you would be doing.

All the best

Hey Guys,

There is a new service here in the forum. Its' an account creation service, I've tested it and I'm very satisfied.

They have set for me a ping fm account and added all the networks for only 22$ (and in less than 24h ).

Hi Paul,

I am new to the IM industry and currently undergoing the learning curve which am sure will not be new to you.

My quest on the best method for aquiring backlinks led me to you amongst others like; 3wayslink, Nextgenline etc. and most of these method has its downside or limitation.

My quetion on Backlink Booster are:

These question will help me decide on the best product to go for.

1) Is this the $47 a on off payment?
2) How does this differ from your subscription based service at: backlinkbooster.com
3) From your experience on an approximation, how long will typical campaign start to show noticeable Google pagination improvement?
4) Does the one off payment come with a lifetime support and upgrade - I see that you are very dedicate to the support of your tool. That is very commendable.
5) What are the does and don't with this method from the perspective of Googe in this present day in order to prevent being sandboxed or Google slapped?

Sorry for bombarding you with so much questions. Thanks.

Regards,
Kayo

Hi Kayo,

Let me tackle each of these questions in turn...

1. Yes, and you get free upgrades for life. We have a very "Special" update in the pipeline that is going to blow the socks off my customers and take this system to a whole new level.

2. Backlinkbooster.com is a copycat service and due to legal reasons I cannot say any more at this time. However, from what I have seen I do not believe from wthat it compares to our product which is under your control and charges a monthly fee and offers a lot more features and functions.

3. It can show results in as little as a few days to a few weeks. It depends on the industry, Google's bot, the term targeted, the backlinks boosted and many other factors. You will see in this thread that many people have seen huge results but the time varies based on those factors.

4. That is correct, lifetime updates and free support. We are very committed to offering the best support in the industry

5. We created Backlink Booster to avoid getting in trouble with Google with new sites. As you are only boosting backlinks and these sites are the ones getting hundreds of links, your site has a layer of protection. The cool thing is that most sites you will be boosting will be high PR and as such you can pretty much go crazy boosting those.

All the best

Hi Sean

In your BLB instructions for the Web 2.0 Overload you said:

Every one of the Web 2.0 profiles you setup with Ping.fm has an RSS feed.

Using Ping.fm I have not been able to add to my network:

Facebook Pages
GTalk Status
Custom URL
Friendster
Delicious
StatusNet
Present.ly
TypePad
ShoutEm
Radar
Tagged
Yahoo Meme

I have added:

Twitter
Facebook
MySpace
Ning
AIM Status
LinkedIn
Tumblr
Identi.ca
Brightkite
FriendFeed
Plurk
Jaiku
Blogger
Plaxo Pulse
Bebo
hi5
Xanga
WordPress.com
Koornk
Diigo
YouAre
Multiply
Yammer
Flickr
Vox
StreetMavens
myYearbook
Posterous
Photobucket
Yahoo Profiles

Out of those I have only been able to find an RSS feed for:

Twitter
identi.ca
multiply
posterous
Yahoo Profiles
vox
youare

I followed your instuctions from last night which were:
"Most of them will have an RSS feed. Just look for the RSS feed icon in your browser when you visit your profile (the easiest way) or on the page for a RSS Icon on the main page of your account. Some, like facebook, don't have them. If you don't find one, don't worry and move on."

I posted to my blog in these accounts when possible to see if this helped.

Do you think I should have been able to find more than these 7?

I'm new to RSS feeds, and not sure which file extentions count as RSS feeds.

Of these seven I have these 2 extentions on urls:

.rss
.xml

And 2 urls which seem to be RSS feeds which ended like this:

blog/H6EOXNZJWFOGSGFOU7VVJOJ33M?rss=1

feeds/91327/rss

I spent several hours this morning going over my Ping.fm profiles, but was unable to come up with any more than this.

Am I missing something?

Thanks in advance for your insight on this.

Hi Matthew,

Most of them do have it on the main profile. For example here are just a few picked at random from your list:

Indenti.ca: http://identi.ca/api/statusnet/group...USERNUMBER.rss
Wordpress.com : http://USERNAME.wordpress.com/feed/
Jaiku: Jaiku | Jaikus from wpthemer
Blogger: http://USERNAME.blogspot.com/feeds/p...efault?alt=rss
Hi5: http://api.hi5.com/rest/feed/journal/USERNUMBER

If you view the main page for a user there is usually either a RSS icon on the page or an icon like this:

You should be able to find more. However, some may not have them.

All the best
