You have to submit rss feeds yourself or does the program?

Am i missing something here, has sean sold blb to you and you are releasing a pro version, did sean not mention he would be releasing one in a ton of pages back or so?

You are not alone with being confused about Sean's product (BLB) and our Backlink Booster (aka - BacklinkBooster.com in these forums). There has been a lot of confusion in the marketplace over the name since Sean named his the same as ours and we both offer similar products/services. We don't have any affiliation with Sean, and our Backlink Booster web application is completely independent of his script-based software.

To answer your question, I was talking about our product (BacklinkBooster.com) since you mentioned the Pro version and we are the only ones who offer a Pro version. I'm not sure if Sean is releasing an updated version of his software or not.

I don't want to hijack Sean's thread, so please feel free to let me know if you have any questions about BacklinkBooster.com and I would be more than happy to answer them in another thread.

Sean I gotta say a big thanks to your support, Lisa.
She did a top notch job assisting me with what turned out to be a hosting issue.
This came from a recent security update on Hostgator that cause conflict.

However in the mean time I was walked thru pretty much every scenario that could be
the cause of problem. Finally arrived at hosting issue. I thinks if I had mentioned my host this could have been resolved quicker.

Kudos to Lisa for excellent technical customer service.

Has anyone else with a Godaddy Hosting account had trouble installing Sean's backlink booster? I'm trying to get past the install page, have entered the exact information about the mysql database and am still having trouble. Ioncube is installed and running fine. And yes, I've tried contacting the support desk, but they are not responding back very quickly.

If you can share any trouble shooting tips, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Pingfm has been working fine, you have to post by email via SMTP,; and create your own spun titles and descriptions. descriptions of 2-3 paragraphs are best.

Can we use hellotxt instead of ping.fm and use that API key to do the automated posting? and how would we do that? just put in the API key in the index.php code where the ping.fm API goes?

@Michael Patterson you can use hellotxt instead of ping.fm but you use email posting you do not use API.
Sean explained how to do it simply a few pages back in this thread:
1. Signup for hellotxt
2. Set up all your accounts usernames and passwords (same as you would Ping.FM)
3. Get your email from hellotxt (check posting options by clicking the email option on the dashboard)
4. In BLB just add this to the emails.txt
5. Set $enable_email to "Y" in the config.php

You are done and no more ping.fm dancing!

Ah i solved the problem myself. Sean u should mention in the video that some users need to point the BoostIt! Button to http:// www.domain.com instead of http:// domain.com like u did

1. in the properties of the bookmark
2. in the setup itself

Sean, I have a question:

I'm ranking well for one of my niches, and I have blb set up on that url. I just started "out sourcing" my link building, and now have a list of thousands of links.

If i start drip-feeding those thousands of links into my rss with cron job on the blb rss of that well-ranking URL for niches/keyword other than the one that URL ranks for, do you think that the rankings for that URL will suffer?

Building backlinks for additional keywords will not harm your rankings for your other keywords in any way. In fact, if the links for your new keywords point to the same URL on your site as the links for your other keywords, then you will get a cumulative boost to all of your keywords for that page because that page's overall PageRank will increase.

Are we Internet marketers? Or are we low level spammers with link junk?

This script is a button on your firefox which when you click it publishes your treasured property to ping.fm - which then flames YOUR accounts with THEIR url "link junk".

Let's be clear here - and DO HEAR - YOU have to spend half a day to manually open ping.fm accounts so that ping.fm can flame your accounts you their link.

No google bot has ever followed this "method" since about 2 weeks after Sean launched this thread.

Get over it!

There is no BOOST. Nor JUICE.

This is so heavily finger-printed and lame! The duck was shot and eaten last year!

Absolutely, I use this feature every day. All you do is paste your link URLs into a txt file on your server and set the cron job for the pace you wish.

In my case, I boost 2 link URLs every 15 minutes. Works great. I've boosted my most competitive keywords from page 3-5 to page one within weeks. After 60 days, they are #1!

Can anyone tell me how to create a paragraph in descriptions I'm rewriting? I have rewritten descriptions in config.php for BLB into 2 paragraphs using <p> and <br> tags but when page is boosted I have only 1 long paragraph.

Is there any way to rewrite these descriptions and have them appear on blogs etc. as 2 paragraphs?

Not at all. The web 2.0 companies don't talk (or care) to eachother and RSS directories are syndication stations .

Even Ping.fm is a syndication station as I call it with the intent to spread your posts. As long as your posts are good (at least 150+ words) then you are good to go nad will have no problems at all

Sean thanks for answering and clearing that up for me. With the help of Lisa (who I can't praise enough for exemplary technical and customer service) I finally set this up, correctly. It's crazy how one doesn't realize the possibilities until you see it in action. I was blind but now I see.LOL

Now, (takes deep breath) I need help with How do you submit to multiple hellotxt email addresses alternately with dripfeeder. Ping.fm has just stopped posting via email this afternoon aaarggh. Despite the fact that I rewrote, spun and added my own titles and long min. 2 paragraph descriptions.

I have 3 ping.fm accounts and BLB would alternate between them I simply put email1,email2,email3 in config.php. For the life of me I can't figure out a way to do this with hellotxt. Is it possible? If not do you post all backlinks to one hellotxt account??

Any and all help advice tips are appreciated.
