Hey Steve Im really excited about your product I bought it as soon as I looked at the videos. I think I may have to many plugins or something on my blog because when I uploaded it this is the error I got..

Steve, regrettably I have the same problem as James.

My error msg is...

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 524288000 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 610001804 bytes) in /home/removed/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wpunique/wpunique.php on line 369

I've tweaked my php.ini and htaccess (which are solutions that usually work for me) but this time to no avail. Now it's time to knock on the master's door.

Btw, it was Oz who put me onto your WSO here. Glad he did. I'm sure this current go-nowhere situation will shortly be resolved.

I just saw this WSO, and it seams like a great product..I'm allways aiming for free traffic, and this could be one of free traffic generation methods definitely..
Before purchasing, I have one question:
I can see there is an option "uniquefy all posts"! Does this mean if I have old blog(6 months) this will turn it into new blog which will rank now high?
I'm asking because I have a blog in a very competitive niche with a lot of posts that are duplicated content!
Will this plugin now help my old blog to get on the first page? Or this works good only for the new blogs?

Hi there, Avdo!



Once you enable the "Uniquify All Posts", it's effective across your entire blog...past, present and future. As soon as your old posts are requested, WPUnique "intercepts" the content and "uniquifies" it.

Or, you can specify individual posts. Totally up to you!

When I used the auto-spin feature, it also changes any hyperlinks that I have within the description, causing the links to break. Is there a way to fix this without having to manually inspect each link and removing the keyword from the synonyms file?

In answer to a much earlier question about whether this device works on platforms other than WordPress: I do it all the time. I have a bunch of Blogger/blogspot websites which have files. I submit already-appearing articles to wpunique. Abra cadabra they get uniqueified. I put them back on my Blogger websites and do it some more. No problem.

I haven't heard back from enigmanic yet, but my gut feeling is that the solution will be to make sure you remove your keywords from the synonyms file...if they're in there.

So, let's say you have a hypothetical keyword of "dog" and you're promoting an offer at "http://www.dog-training-tips.com"...

...well, if your synonym file has an entry to replace every instance of "dog" with "canine"...

...then your hyperlink could end up like "http://www.canine-training-tips.com" instead.

In short, remove any potentially conflicting keyword replacements from your synonyms file, and problem solved.

As I say, I haven't had the details from enigmanic, yet, so I'm speculating at this point.

Sorry for such a long answer to such a short question!

I just bought your product and I didn't see this asked in previous posts. I was just curious what is meant by Wordpress Unique "works on the fly"?

If I were to just use the autospin function without uniquefying, would a search engine (or a visitor) see a different version of article each time? Or are the synonyms "locked in" once I publish?

Guess it's easy enough to run it and see, huh? :-)

Lets say I was making small niche blogs for Adwords or CPA. If I use this plug in to spin an article and then Uniquify it will this be a good strategy to make the site bigger and unique? Or is this mainly for autoblogging?

Also would like to see some people who use this plug in and get good results post some information.

Well I'm using it in a blog that's been around for about a year I guess - just posting about certain topics that I want to SEO. This blog is a PR1.

I added a articles section to the site just to give it some good quality spider material.

I used uniqify AND article spinner.. and of course completely changed the title. I notice the spinner does leave some* detectable traces of duplicate content. But how good does the unqifier actually work, have to done any testing?

To answer your questions:

The current version of WPUnique is 2.6.5 -- if you have an earlier version, and you haven't received any email updates from me, please drop me an email (click on my username above my photo...there's an option to email me there).

The results I showed in my video were achieved purely by using the "uniquify" option. I wasn't spinning the content at all.

However, if you are spinning your content, then the more synonyms you use, the more unique your content will be. This of course comes at the cost of readability. It's well worth experimenting with the synonyms...to add ones that are specific to your niche, to remove ones that don't make sense in the context of your articles etc.

WPUnique is suitable for both autoblogs and "manual" blogs.

You can control which options are enabled either across your entire blog, or on a post-by-post basis, so it's very flexible.

There are quite a few positive results post in this thread already, although I understand...with almost 500 posts it's a long read!

When I say it works "on the fly", I mean WPUnique doesn't permanently change your post content in the Wordpress database.

When a post is requested, WPUnique "intercepts" the content, modifies it, then displays it to the visitor (or search engine).

The modifications are the same every time (unless you change the settings of course), so the visitor doesn't see different versions every time they refresh their browser...that would be horrible!

I wasn't wearing a stopwatch so I don't know how long it took. Maybe 5 minutes or 10 minutes. The article I uniquified is now #1 on Google Alerts for the topic. Dang, this thing's good!

BTW it's not in a WordPress template. It's pure Blogger. Which means if you know what to do it works in places other than WordPress.

Hi there,

WPUnique is primarily designed to make duplicate content rank better.

Of course, there's nothing to stop you using it with existing unique content.

However, the more relevant content you have on your blog, the more Google will see you as an authority on your subject. That's where republishing and "uniquifying" other content will help your rankings.

In other words, if you have 10 unique articles on your blog, PLUS another 20 "uniquified" duplicate articles...you'll almost certainly rank higher than if you only had the 10 unique articles on their own.

The content doesn't change per visitor. The source code is modified once. That way, it becomes "static".

The search engines would get very suspicious if the entire content of your blog changed every time they crawled it...

Oh, and yes! You can absolutely use articles from article directories (as you rightly say, as long as you adhere to the Terms of Service). You can also use PLR, Public Domain, or any other content designed for republishing.
