Will WP Unique uniquify comments already posted in the blog (sorry if this was mentioned...too many pages to go thru). Also, has anyone use the plugin with Caffeinated Content plugin? I want to know if WPUnique will work with it.

And there's a "uniquify all comments" option which will uniquify the comments!

You'll need to cloak your own links, I'm afraid...just set up a redirect link, and send all your keywords there instead, e.g.

magic bullet, http://www.mydomain.com/recommends/magicbullet

I am using your plugin from last 20 days but i am not understanding why this is not working for me. I have many sites which are older and very few are new but i tried this plugin on every site but it's working. I don't know why. I am not trying to rank from this plugin but i want to just google index my page when ever i post on my site but i don't think it's working here.

What exactly i have to do to see some result? Any one getting result by using this plugin. One more thing i want to tell you Steve that above i asked you that my site indexed and within 24 hours it vanished from searching so you did not answered that also. I bought your Unique Plug In last night and I was looking back through a Vid and you said search for articles that have re-publish.....although I found a few from article directories and what-not, but are we not still with having to put the authors name and info at the bottom etc.. as it calls for? How then is it unique? Please tell me the way around this as I need articles etc..

Checked this morning and its #23 on Google (cutthroat keyword with 520k search results on "Broad Search") , #2 on Bing and #1 on Yahoo. Bought WPUnique yesterday but have some issues.

1. I kept getting error messages whenever I tried to upload my Custom Protected Keywords File saved as protectedkeywords.txt

Also, when click the link in the admin area, there is no option to open protectedkeywords.txt in a text editor. So I had to create my own .txt file.

2. Next, how do I resolve the following error:

"Oh Dear. Your Web Host Won't Let Me Change The Permissions On Your Synonyms File."

What do I request from my web host?

3. Finally, can I still get my posts to rank well without using ' auto spin all content' ? What is the added advantage?

So is ther a setting on the plugin you can change to rectify this "uniquefying" of your RSS feeds? I use RSS feeds to build backlinks and traffic so this is important for my blogs. Thanks!

Hi Stephen,

Normally, Wordpress installations make "file permissioning" a breeze...however, in your case, it looks like your webhost has decided to make things tricky!

If you chmod the wpunique directory to 777 while you change your custom files, you should be OK.

Hi Steven. I sent you several emails about synonym functionality, but you did not replied me with a solution. Robin emailed you on my behalf:I have tested the plugin thoroughly, although we have had issues from the start.
I've manually uploaded wpunique via FTP as well as uploaded upunique.zip from the browser WYSIWYG.
When activating the plugin i get the message:
"invalid header"


After that the plugin seems half function. We are able to search and replace our words to URLs, but that seems to be the extent of the functionality.


We cannot get any synonym functionality -- please advise,

I think 1) is related to 2)...some webhosts are super-angsty...they don't want you to change permissions. I mean...how terrifying!

3) Of course! The added advantage is when an article has been republished, like, 20 times...you need something to stand out.

Thanks for the reply. Another problem however.

Since I installed the plugin and made my posts trully unique, it seems my posts have disappeared from Google index. Apart from making them trully unique, the only other thing I did was to include the path to the 'protected keyword file' in robot.txt as it had previously appeared in my Webmaster tools account as giving a crawl error.

I just made the front page of Google for a highly competitive keyword phrase that brings in 6000 searches a month in the GPS niche and there is no doubt I made it there thanks to WPUnique. Got my first sale on that site today for an item over $145 and the site is less than a month old.

The plug-in works perfectly with ReviewAZON now and I appreciate all the effort you put in to get it working with it. The fact that it can take an Amazon description and make it totally unique really sold me on this product.

Sorry it's taken so long, but, I have installed this awesome plugin on 14 more blogs.

I put it up on one blog with only PLR articles, make each article unique and with 48 hours 2 of the articles were on page 1 of Google - and just like you said, ahead of other exact articles.

I'm sure you have an affiliate program, and I would love to add this inside my membership area once it is ready for launch.

I just wanted to say that WPUnqiue has been a godsend to me. I have been using it for maybe 6 weeks now and it works great. I have a bunch of xfactor sites and all I do is post other's content on my sites, tweak them a little if I need to alter the keyword density a little, and then let WPUnique do its magic.

But, what is really interesting is this.

As some of you might know, I am working Terry Kyle on a number of backlinking projects (a WSO, a forum, etc.). Anyways, i figured I needed my own site that ranked for the search backlinks (no quotes). So, I slapped a site, put in someone else's material, activated WP Unique, and there I went ;-)

It is a 1 post WP site

Well, the site is about 2 months old, and I have actually been backlinking it for about 5 weeks now.

Well, this 1 post site is now #15 in google for the search: backlinks (no quotes). All, with zero content from me

I'll be changing the content in a few days to pimp, er help market, my backlinking endeavors, but if you think you can't rank with others' content....well here you go. Note that my site is even ahead of steven aylor/backlink goldmine and PJ's site for the search: backlinks.

Borrowed content is the way to go :rolleyes:

I bought this last month and there was a problem with some kind of symbol I was using in my keyword list and you quickly responded back with an easy quick fix for this (Thanks!). Anyway, I am finally getting around to reinstalling and using this plugin again but have a question please...

I have a few semi-auto blogs with articles pulled from article directories. I'm not going to use the spinning feature of your plugin but was wondering if I should use this for ALL the 100+ previously published pages of a site - or should it only be used ONLY for content I publish from this point forward?

what's so special about the plugin that causes the content to get indexed so quickly or did the fact that your site already being indexed lend to the article getting indexed so fast?

Can content get indexed as quickly on a brand new site that is not indexed at all?
