Per post spinning? Hmmm...not yet, but that's a great idea. For now, of course, as long as you know what your content will be, you can spin it however you want it.

As for the "All In One SEO" Plugin...yes, I use it! It's a superb plugin.

Question: Would it be better to spin an article & then 'uniquefy' it so that if it was copied by someone else, the original would still rank better because of the 'unique' additional code?

Also, can an article be spun, then resoun to get a 2nd different article?

Hey Steve, thanks for the attention on this. Right after I posted my message, I went to my email and saw the link to the download of your product, so I was directed correctly there, however the automatic webpage redirection/link to another totally unrelated product was very odd. In my opinion, this needs to be corrected, especially if you pay to post the offer. lol Just imagine if this mistake happened to direct me to a listing of a direct competitor/equivalent product ...can only hurt sales - however that is very unlikely in the case of this product. :-) great product IMHO. Warrior Forum needs to fix this. Thanks!

I have some questions. Sorry if this has been covered before but this thread is 20 pages long which would probab;y take me a week to read through.

I want to buy a PLR blog thats already prepopulated with numerous articles reviews etc is it just a matter of installing the plugin ticking some options and then the whole site is unique or do I have to put a bit of work into uniquing a lot of pre existing content.

Is it ok to have a blog thats 100% uniqued or do you recommend mixing it with fresh content.

After the blog becomes unique what if I want to insert my keywords into the titles and articles ?

Sorry if these are basic WP Unique q's but I want to be a 100% sure of what Im buying.

It was about scheduling posts, I believe they thought it wasn't working if they were scheduling the post for a later date.

Will the plugin still Uniquify if the posts are scheduled? I would like to use this option if it will work.

Great question!

Please allow me to answer it...I'm not as erudite as CJ, but I'll try my best.

In your scenario, Person A has written a unique article. Persons B & C are WPUnique owners who want to republish Person A's article.

In other words, multiple WPUnique owners will republish the same article.

Well, here's the deal...

Out of the box, if Person B and Person C choose *only* the "uniquify" option, and nothing else...then you're right...they'll end up with the same "uniqued" version of the article.

BUT they both have options, which I've encouraged my customers to use since version 2.0, and here they are:

1) A customizable dictionary: It's easy to add, edit and delete any words from the WPUnique dictionary file (this file determines which words get uniquified). It's a plain text file, and is editable right within the WPUnique settings page.

2) A customizable "protected keywords" file: This allows you to prevent certain words or phrases from being "uniquified"...and -- barring a bizarre coincidence -- Person B's protected keywords will be different from Person C's. Again, fully editable from within your blog's admin panel.

3) A synonyms file which is 100% unique for *every* WPUnique owner...no-one gets the same 2 lists: You can automagically spin the original article into a totally new one, and it'll be different from everyone else's (you shouldn't use this function with article sites, though, since the TOS will generally say you should leave the article content intact...but for PLR and Public Domain works...it's a great tool...!)

4) If all else fails, in the eventuality that 2 WPUnique owners republish the same article...with the default settings...well, that's just 2 dupicates...which is *way* better than the dozens, hundreds, and yes, thousands which the Big G regularly encounters every day.

On the same blog? You'll end up with 2 articles the same, but different from anyone else's version of the article.

Just to clarify, this isn't a plugin that'll turn a single article into a never-ending stream of unique articles *on the same blog*

If you used the same article on multiple blogs, each with the "spinning" function enabled, then yes...they would all be different (because the spinning synonyms are all randomly generated per blog)...

Hi Dave,

I'd take the content *as is*, and automatically "uniquify" it.

Then, if I felt the need, I'd add my own keywords etc (you can use your own custom keywords, and automatically "spin them" into the existing content if you like, as well as automagically adding your own affiliate links

after all the positive feedback I have read it makes me wonder what I am doing wrong. I have wp-unique on 4 blogs for about a month now but cannot see any effects whatsoever.

I have ticked yes to everything except auto spin content but when I check each individual article in google - nothing - none of my blogs appear on the first 5 pages for those particular articles.

I am using wp-autoarticles plugin and my articles themselves come from articlesnatch, if this makes a difference. I can see the extra code when viewing the page source so wp-unique is doing its thing but it is not having any effect on google yet.

Thanks for posting!

It's really difficult to know what's happening without knowing:

a) Your niche
b) The keywords you're targeting, and
c) Whether the articles you're using match a) and b)

The very first thing I'd do would be to take one of your "uniqued" posts, and bookmark it using socialmarker.com

...and see whether you get a boost within a day or two.

Second, please confirm that your blog isn't *literally* blind to the search engines...take a look at the "privacy" settings on your blog (settings=>privacy), and make sure the following option is selected:

"I would like my blog to be visible to everyone, including search engines (like Google, Bing, Technorati) and archivers"

Yes my sites have s/e spiders crawling all over them and all hold position one, page one on google for the domain names that closely match the niches of diet/weight loss, and wealth creation.

Not all the article keywords are closely related to the niche due to the plugin I use, but most are spot on. These articles are also pretty fresh and have not been circulated that much yet. I realize the niches are very competitive but I thought the uniquify part of you plugin would hopefully help in getting the articles ranked a bit higher.

Anyway I will keep incorporating it in my website building in different niches and see how it goes.

I bought the plugin as I was interested in how it works and although I don't normally use wordpress I could use the text generated in another system I use...

Anyway I quickly setup a blog and "uniquefied" a couple of posts.. I did notice that only maybe 30% of the words were being altered so I added a whole load of words into the dictionary text file and now it's changing a much larger percentage. I used "Word" to do mass "comma replacings" etc..

I find the spin feature messes up the meaning too much and not much sense appears so I reckon a whole lot of phrases and words will have to be added to the protected keywords file to sort that out.. (this will all be very "niche specific I reckon")

Do any people who have been using this for longer or Steve even have any idea of a good "average" percentage figure to use for the synonyms file so it spins reasonably but still makes sense?

Steve - to get the uniqueness up I got the dictionary.txt file up to 1100 words. The thing now though is the site has really slowed down because of this. I now click refresh and FF says "waiting for blahblah.com" for about 7 seconds before it then starts to transmit the data.

Is this because of the size of the file? You did say we could add as many as we like

As soon as I stop "uniquefying" the site delivers immediately as normal again..

Hi Russ,

The dictionary.txt file is really for "common" words which no-one is trying to rank for (is, but, if, the, can, etc)

The synonyms.txt adds a certain extra layer of uniqueness to your posts, although as I say...the more synonyms you use, the less readable your posts will be (it's a struggle, I know!)...and a 30% change is good enough for the search engines, BTW.

It doesn't need to be 100%

Let me get this right Steve. Let's have an example and say I am doing a site for a certain range of cameras. I can lift the text from people I'm an affiliate for as long as I'm linking to them.. (I checked this)

But the text is obviously on their site and say for instance Sony's site too..

A lot of this type of text will be specialized for cameras.

Now to make the majority of this text "uniquefy" I am going to have to add words such as camera, optimized, zoom, screen, battery - etc,etc,etc to the dictionary file otherwise these words will just display as normal and then this content won't be favoured at all by Google

- isn't that right?

I am finding this plugin dramatically slows down the loading times of my websites. Is this normal and can anything be done to improve this, or could this be an issue with my web host?

When i activate this plugin i get:

"Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 84 bytes) in /home1/*****/public_html/*****/wp-content/plugins/wpunique/wpunique.php on line 540"

...though the plugin still seems to be activated ( ***** is my host and server info, not part of the actual error)

I am very excited to start using your plugin. I just have a few questions that I was hoping you could answer before I get started.

1) Standard vs Truly Unique
I know that Truly Unique will pass Copyscape, while the Standard mode will not. Does this mean that Truly Unique Posts will rank better than Standard mode?

Also, are there any other advantages of using Truly Unique instead of Standard? Are there any Disadvantages or potential pitfalls of using Truly Unique?

2) Does it make sense to list my 'target keyword phrases' in the Protected Keywords file when using both the Truly Unique or Standard modes? Or do I only need to add Protected Keywords when using the Truly Unique mode?

3) My blogs will mainly feature Yahoo Answers, Reviewazon, Youtube, and a few Article posts...Do you feel I would receive a larger benefit from using the Truly Unique or Standard mode across these types of sites?

were turned on.

I downloaded an image from my computer and
inserted it into my post. The image appears
to be fine until I click the read more button.
Then all the html caption code prints out instead
of the image.

In viewing the page source code, I noticed the wacky code
is inserted within the html caption code.

So, I'm assuming you can't insert an image
within a post or I'm doing something in error.

and WP unique swirls it up in the blender then dumps the
result on the page -hands off?

I'm actually very familiar with what WPunique is doing.

We used to a use an almost identical method for getting
unique adverts on various sites.

I love that you've managed to implement this into WP, it's
genius.

I guess my only fear is that should "G" ever do a manual review
you're toast.

But I have a huge number of sites that I don't consider
mission critical, autoblogger plus this is perfect.

What odds do you Google doing a manual review of one of my WP-Unique enabled auto blogs? And what odds do you give Google actually noticing that the blog is uniquifying my content and therefore deindex my blog, or worse?

How do you believe anybody could anybody accurately answer either of
those questions ?

Very slim is your only answer based on the millions of websites out there.

I read somewhere that there are more than 1 million new websites added to the interwebs every single day...

That's a heck of a lot...even for Google...to manually review!

Having said that, I don't think WPUnique breaks too many, if any, rules.

This plugin is going to work wonders with WP-Robot.

Yes my sites have s/e spiders crawling all over them and all hold position one, page one on google for the domain names that closely match the niches of diet/weight loss, and wealth creation. Not all the article keywords are closely related to the niche due to the plugin I use, but most are spot on. These articles are also pretty fresh and have not been circulated that much yet. I realize the niches are very competitive but I thought the uniquify part of you plugin would hopefully help in getting the articles ranked a bit higher. Anyway I will keep incorporating it in my website building in different niches and see how it goes. Thanks Reno

Anyway I quickly setup a blog and "uniquefied" a couple of posts.. I did notice that only maybe 30% of the words were being altered so I added a whole load of words into the dictionary text file and now it's changing a much larger percentage. I used "Word" to do mass "comma replacings" etc.. I find the spin feature messes up the meaning too much and not much sense appears so I reckon a whole lot of phrases and words will have to be added to the protected keywords file to sort that out.. (this will all be very "niche specific I reckon") Do any people who have been using this for longer or Steve even have any idea of a good "average" percentage figure to use for the synonyms file so it spins reasonably but still makes sense? cheers Russ

I now click refresh and FF says "waiting for blahblah.com" for about 7 seconds before it then starts to transmit the data. Is this because of the size of the file? Original Author "RELEGATE Share on: Hi Russ, The dictionary.txt file is really for "common" words which no-one is trying to rank for (is, but, if, the, can, etc) The synonyms.txt adds a certain extra layer of uniqueness to your posts, although as I say...the more synonyms you use, the less readable your posts will be (it's a struggle, I know!)...and a 30% change is good enough for the search engines, BTW.
