If you put in effort on it, like building backlinks and generate traffic, you can sell it for more.

Checking through the sites sold on flippa listed above, it seems quite a lot of them end up parked with godaddy or similar.

I was interested in purchasing more with a view to monetize and maybe sell later but the fact that the owners of the sites let them go after paying so much tells me that perhaps they are not so easy to monetize. Othewise why give up on them?

I also heard it is against adsense TOS to put adsense on sites only having youtube videos. Presumably (I have no proof of this) because you are competing with youtube and the owners of the videos who have them on the youtube site itself.

Is there anyone who is making money with these sites (apart from flipping on flippa) and using adsense without problems?

The buyers of these sites abandon the sites.
It happens.... be it Prismotube sites or not.
Verify this on your own.
This is because many of the $100-300 purchases on Flippa are impulse purchases.
But that's the least of our concern, because as long as the site has been sold and money is in your pocket, you are in good hands.

We advise against using Adsense. Theres a bunch of alternatives.

The point is, it sells.

For a start, you can edit just the logo, header and background graphic.
That's the smallest thing you can do for the maximum impact.
For this, you can source it out to fiverr.com for $5

How do you change the name of the category buttons along the top of the page? Say I already made a new category and all the buttons at the top still says "A"??

And, would have a quick tip for how to change the background image? Does these kinds of things require coding?

I wonder if there are coding tutorials for those who are new to coding and wish to try

Also, is there a way to remove the videos that are there by default?

Prismotube comes with the ability to pull languages of specific language.
He set it to Arab so all the videos on his site are all Arab videos.

1.) in your own words with this much experience watching how other people do well as opposed to the ones that do not do well. can you summarize

what to do and the pitfalls to avoid. ( like you mentioned NO ADSENSE..why??)

2.) is there a way to be able to add unique content to each of these videos with the ability to add backlinks to where i want them to go???.. I see the description area where for each video BUT can we customize these description areas for our own SEO purposes.??

I am excited about this app but I think they only have one very busy person doing all customer support and installations and everything else, so patience is required.

You can add facebook share buttons signing up with the plugin developer (AddThis) and adding their free code to your site header.

I've got $300+ into this site between hosting and prismotube options, plus more for ongoing SEO, so I'm looking forward to seeing some traffic in a few months! I'll try to remember to update here.

The videos are not blocked, we have sent you the way to get around the problem.
Our graphic designer was not feeling well so the logo was delayed.

Thing is right after the install all 3 categories showed videos just fine.
Then the next day one category suddenly shows 'no related videos' error.

What can this be?
Oh and we are on a reseller hosting, so no firewall issue and no maxed out google calls issue.

Share on: I am excited about this app but I think they only have one very busy person doing all customer support and installations and everything else, so patience is required. You can add facebook share buttons signing up with the plugin developer (AddThis) and adding their free code to your site header. I've got $300+ into this site between hosting and prismotube options, plus more for ongoing SEO, so I'm looking forward to seeing some traffic in a few months! I'll try to remember to update here.
