What would cause a site to have a manual review? I'm worried that it happened because of the service since the times correspond and no other SEO was being done - and that continuing will only keep it penalized. We can discuss via PM if you prefer.

Think of it this way. If Google did not like the links we submitted for you then the most they would do is discount the juice coming from them. But you're claiming your site was already on page one when you signed up. So you obviously lost some of the juice that got you to page one. Which would have nothing to do with our links. Like I mentioned before the best thing you can do is to keep backlinking every day.

We offered a bulk rate to Edward because of the huge volume of business he has flowed our way over the last two years. Sorry.

My page 1 guar just ended and I signed up for a year package, how many of these should I use on the same site to equall what you did towards the end of my page 1 quar? I think you did a tripple blast. Should I do it for the same keywords or use several groups of 5

All sites on pages 1-2 of Google (especially page 1) are subject to a GHR (Google Human Reviewer). There is no escaping it. Google wants the best sites with quality content on their top pages and positions. At the most basic level, your site has to pass the "sight" test as Matt has mentioned before.

Your competitor could also report you to Google if your site has "too many" ads for example and is spammy - which will lead to a manual review.

If your site does not have the above issues, then Matt's backlinking should bring it back. Adding more posts/content would help a lot too.

Update: 15 days into 3-month drip-feed

Background: I registered new domains last month (January 2012) and put a bit of content on each, and the drip-feeding started on January 23rd.

Results: I just ran rank checker, and scrapebox's PR checker, and these are the results:

-All 8 new sites have multiple keywords ranked in top 100 in google, for homepage and inner pages.
-6 of the new sites have their main keyword (the one targeted by the homepage) ranked in the top 100. Rankings are: 78, 66, 40, 28, 26, 14.
-Most impressive of all: One of the sites has achieved PR 1 within the 15 days! (May have taken shorter than 15 days - I haven't checked PR until now. I verified the PR using the SEO4FireFox plugin after using scrapebox's PR checker.)

I'm excited to say the least. This is the first time I've written more than 1 reviews for any service - I just had to tell someone about the PR1, achieved in just 15 days, using a supposedly slow drip-feed - now that's impressive.

I just bought the service for the first time and will buy it for 3o sites next month! My question is can you buy more then one of these for the same site? If you buy two 3 month packages, will you have ten keywords and 2oo articles a day for one site? Is this going to be more effective or less effective since your sending out so many articles? I purchased your 3 month drip feed service for my ecommerce site back in November.

Keywords 1 & 2 had had some work done on them a couple of years ago so were already on page one (but slowly falling and pointing to our homepage), but within a couple of weeks you had them not only pointing to the correct product page, but also rising up page one.

Keywords 2 & 3 rose a couple of positions to both reach the no1 slot, and keyword 5 (and its singular version) rose several pages to appear near the top of page one.

Keyword 1 rose from 6 to 3 11.3 million results
Keyword 2 rose from 4 to 2
Keyword 3 rose from 3 to 1
Keyword 4 rose from 2 to 1
Keyword 5 rose from 34 to 2 780k results (and the singular from 60 to 3)

All helped to give a much needed boost to sales.

I was reading this post with interest and I thought I'd come in with a few questions of my own for you if you would be kind enough to clear them up. Wouldn't all respective clients be best just starting a word press blog on there own (which they control) and is a FREE service?

They can then write unique and relevant content to the product and or service that relates to his/her business, then insert one link (with his or her desired keyword) within the first one hundred characters of the body text, and point that singular link back to the main money site?

You can then take that same content and submit it to hundreds of article directories (inserting either the same keyword/key-phrases) related to your money site automatically creating the hundreds of links you are charging for.

I don't understand how this service would benefit anyone unless he/she has absolutely no link building and or SEO knowledge whatsoever. In which case fair enough.

My other question is "Long tail" key terms are easier to rank in search, so there would be very few links needed for the blog itself to appear in search for the long tail search term you are targeting. Separately, how does the customer know the term (selected by you) is a "buying term" and not just a "traffic term"? do you inform them of this? as we all know traffic does not mean sales.

Surely the customer who is seeking the service would be best placed to suggest to you what the best targeted terms might be for his/her service through some simplistic Google analytic research.

Your customers are obviously happy so fair game to you, but we should offer our help for FREE rather than make a relatively simple SEO process appear complicated.

This review is for the service I ordered when Matt had the "guaranteed page 1 for one of your 5 keywords" service. I think the method is substantially the same as in this thread if I'm not mistaken, just he isn't guaranteeing p. 1 ranking here.

I read the many reviews on the p.1 ranking thread (now closed), and they all seemed real and they said it worked so I finally took the plunge on 2 of my sites, 6 months ago.

Both sites had been around for a year or two and my on-page SEO was pretty good but my backlinks were not good at all. I needed help because I didn't have time to create backlinks.

Okay so on one site I just reached page 1 on google. Not just for one keyword but for several. I had never been on page 1 before for any of these keywords. My page views have increased tenfold (for real!) and my sales have increased dramatically the past 30 days as my site began to finally move up on these keywords.

I was patient and didn't bug them. I know from reading the now closed "reach p. 1 on google" thread that others reached page 1 much quicker. But all's well that ends well as far as I'm concerned.

The other site I bought Matt's services for is still back on pages 3 and 4 in the rankings but it was way back, before, and its keywords have more competition and I am confident it will get to p.1 soon for one of my 5 keywords, as they continue to send out articles. I see it moving up over the past week or two.

I am definitely a believer now and will be buying some more of Matt's services soon.

Matt - what service do you recommend for KEEPING the rankings? This one?

I am doubtful that the method you describe above will get a site to page one on google unless it is a long tail keyword wtih little competition. The keywords I had Matt rank me for were not all long-tail and have some pretty stiff competition.

It's up to the client to pick the keywords and the client should certainly do so carefully. I picked my 5 and not one but 3 are now ranking on page one, and all 5 of my keywords improved their ranking dramatically.

As far as I'm concerned this is the easiest way to improve your rankings on google. There are certainly other ways but most of them take a lot of time, money and/or knowledge.

The answer to this question is, time. I simply wouldn't have time to do all the things that you suggest. I don't think it is fair to say that the service should be free on the basis of that. It is far more efficient and cost effective to get experts to do the work for you so you can focus on the core of your business. As a result of this our business has grown far beyond our expectations in the first 18 months. We certainly wouldn't be in the position we are in now with out Matt and his team's hard work.

Matt's link building is far more effective that anything I could possibly do or any service that I have used in the past (and I have used a fair few, at substantial cost - Matt's service is positively cheap in comparison.)

Matt doesn't choose the keywords for you. This is something the client does. I think there may be some misunderstanding here. I have had him rank extremely competitive keywords for us, all of which I have chosen.

After a couple of months of using Matt's service, here is my review:

The first few weeks were pretty incredible! My site quickly rose through the SERP's, and it soon took a high position on page 1. Then, after a few more weeks, my site dropped. Big time dropped.

After my website's drop, it was moving around the 10-12th pages in the SERP's, and it stayed there for a about a week. Then slowly over time, my site began to increase its ranking.

Now my website is hanging around half way up on the 2nd page.

Overall, I'd say Matt has a pretty great service here (especially considering how cheap it is!) To make your experience even better though, I recommend that you also work on building a few higher quality links as well (this should reduce the risk of your site dropping.)
