Can I ask you Jan, and other budding affiliate marketeers. How long, after you've uploaded your finished site, does it take to rank in Google... for a niche with low to medium competition.

After doing all the on page and off page SEO?

Not looking for an exact figure, but is it days, weeks, months?

Hey Eduard, can you tell me why it's so good? I'm busy adding social bookmarks at the mo Would like to hear an actual review from a Warrior.

Also, did you get the single or unlimited package? And did you pay full whack, or buy it through your affiliate link... for 70% off?

I haven't done this yet, with any product, so not sure if it works or not.

Hi Shenna,

Yes one could describe it like that but it's about the strategy you use, backlinking to backlinks is the trick and getting those pinged.

They charge $40.00 p/m for that...? Wow, I do the same for $2.95 p/m at pingler.com.

You still need to do the initial work either way, such as:

posting articles to directories
post on forums
post comments on blogs
posting to social sites
posting to web 2.0 sites

If you don’t want to fully outsource the sites, you can get some those things done E.g. HERE for a coffee if your clever

This is roughly what it entails:
When you have all those URLs that now backlink to your home page and review pages, you bundle them into packets of about 100 and create RSS feeds, then enter those into Yahoo pipes. The resulting Yahoo feed would then be entered into feed aggregators such as feedburner.com, feedagg.com and others. Each of those will in turn give you a single feed which you would then post at pingler.com for $2.95 p/m. They get pinged automatically every 3 days. This way you can index 1000s of backlinks and have them continually pinged

A powerful way of using feeds is E.g. to create a second batch of articles/forum post/blog comments etc.. but don't point them to your site rather to the initial articles/forum post/blog comments that link to your site, you might think that you're simply leaving juice on the table but in fact you are using their PR to boost your site and you don't get caught in the Google trap of "index spamming" (too many unnatural links pointing directly to your site)

Sounds complicated, but it isn't with the right tools. Unlike many tools that you pay monthly upwards of $100.00, I use AMR Software, a onetime payment, sits on your desktop and does all the sign-ups, confirms emails and posts to blogs/article directories automatically and is a one-time payment. It gives you all the URLS in a list (so no collecting involved) which you then convert into feeds using E.g. this WSO tool.

I've never used monthly payments for these purposes and my sites all hit the top and stay there, so that $40.00 can be better used for E.g. outsourcing the articles/posting the feeds and social site sign-ups using Odesk for example.
Take this into consideration:
You can just outsource the whole thing and really save money, time and stress (just outsource one at a time initially).
A complete website including all reviews, the setup, so everything + the above costs about $80-140 per project but outsourcing scares most people because they’re not sure what to do or how to manage everything. These Outsourcing Video tutorials break it all down and show you exactly how to do this and IMHO, for people buying Jan’s tutorials it’s definitely worth looking at these because the real purpose of his WSO is not just how to create websites and get to #1 or create another job for yourself, rather how to build a sustainable business using his Review sites and methods. The easiest, fastest and most profitable way is by outsourcing everything.
Wheew!
And you thought you were “veering off course”...lol

Hey thedog,

Sure you can do that but you got to be careful regarding refunds and also, if you're just starting out, don't forget you need a min. of 5 different credit cards payments before a payout is posible. If you leave your commission there in a sleep modus due lack of turnover, they start deducting money off your commissions all the way down to $0.00

So the 70% won't help if there's no continuity, You still pay the full price and hope to get your commissions later!

The whole purpose of these rule is to try to stop people buying through their own link and then asking for a refund

as far as the sites are concerened, that really differs from niche to niche and other aspects...I've had sites ranking in just over a week and others 3-4 months, the more you do, the better you get

Hi Tiger,

I fed my backlinks through an RSS generator and then put the feed up on pingler to ping every 3 days. Do I still need to build a Yahoo pipe or did I actually do something right? :p

I really appreciate you sharing your traffic methods. Thanks!

Fantastic info! I was unsure on how to let google know about my backlinks... I knew I had to ping them... but the thought of pinging each one is a nightmare... I like this approach.

As for AMR... I'm so confused about which product to go for

There's so many recommendations on this forum... I don't mind paying for tools, but I don't want to go on a shopping frenzy... my sites have yet to turn a profit...

For example, other recommended products, http://affiliatetoolz.info/SEOpressor/ and http://www.seomoz.org/features

All I'm looking for is getting good quality backlinks to my site that stick... Is AMR really the way to go?

Back to the pinging... I've had backlink gigs on fiverr done, but their not showing up on yahoo site explorer... they're probably just hanging around for google to find them?

I love this forum, every day I'm finding something new out.

I'm working hard on Jans wso, One site is done, 3 more in progress... the goal is to earn at least $1,000 a month... but I'm hoping for more of course.

hey there tw - wicked information there thanks mate - one small issue - the link to the wso for the feed conversion seems to be dead - any chance of posting that again or pm-ing me with it please? I'm really interested in looking at this method as to date I've had very mixed results with outsourcing link building myself and was only about 2 days away from signing up to a 47 per month service..... :-)

hey there thedog - I bought jans course back in february - implemented 2 sites straight away and followed his instructions pretty much to the letter other than using 3waylinks - I outsourced the external link building after dropping some high pr links from angelas packet and doing some initial social bookmarking via onlywire - net result was I got ranked within about 3 weeks I was page 2 - just after 1 month on page 1 - and starting making sales soon after that. It's a good course - it does work!

Glad to hear it dude. Can you tell me, how tough was your competition?

Lot's of green with my 4 sites... so I'm hoping to rank in the top 3 in the next month or so.

I'm also not using 3waylinks, read some bad reviews on here.

I'm looking into buying a product for handling backlinking... What's angelas packet?

I'm thinking of buying scrapebox.

Seopressor is a great plugin because it tells you what you can do to better your on page SEO factors and it even does some of it for ya so it's well worth the money.

Tomorrow I am launching a brand new SEO WSO and we can take the seo discussions there so we can reserve this thread for sales questions and answers.

Hey I purchased it directly for the unlimited. Single does not make any sense to me. Once you purchase it than you will see how powerful this plugin is. It just shows you how optimized your post for your keyword is. And it helps you to optimize it.

I just bought without any Affiliate links.

@ tigerwar, - you say, then post at pingler.com for $2.95 p/m. They get pinged automatically every 3 days. This way you can index 1000s of backlinks and have them continually pinged

What's the advantage of using pingler over a free service like pingomatic, or feedshark?

Hey ther thedog,

Pingomatic is semiautomated. At pingler.com you enter the feeds containing the feed that contain the feeds that contain.....you know what and do this only once.

guys n gals, Yahoo Site Explorer is bye bye - retired - out of commission. do not look there for stats on your BLs. Go to MajesticSEO. It Rocks! Very accurate, timely and THOROUGH! YSE is and was lame.

If u r on a loooow budget then just use PingFarm. Bulk upload individual URLs or an RSS feed of them and let them handle all the pinging nonsense.

if ur buying S/B then do not "buy" packets. Just build (scrape) ur own packets with SB. Purchased packets are for the most part a rip off as everyone uses the same ones and thus they get spammed to death and thus they lose value bigtime. Find and build your own "private" list with SB.

AMR Software basically takes all the work out of signing up at 100s of article directories/blogs, it confirms the mails and posts your content in 3 clicks...signup/confirm/post. I get frustrated when trying to sign up to only 2 directories and this does 100s automatically.

SEOpressoris is something totally different, this basically tells you (live) what you need to do to reach optimized on-page SEO as you do your reviews and all within the admin panel of wordpress. On-page SEO is so vital and SEOpressor prevents you from missing any of necessary steps. DEAD EASY!

Tip1:

When writing articles for article directories (or outsourcing them), save these first in the "draft" modus in your wordpress...SEOpressor gives you the on-page SEO value and what you can do to improve it. when it's optimized, take that article and post it using AMR to the directories.
This way your articles are SEoptimized and get ranked faster and higher

you can be lazy and only spin the end of the titles, and resource boxes(I do that sometimes), E.g.

"Best green Rabbits Reviews- How to tame a Rabbit in two days"
"Best green Rabbits - How to catch a Rabbit"

This way I get upto 6 entries from different directories on the same Page of google (including my site). So no matter where they click, they end up on my site!

but I also spin the whole article and links because you can obviously rank on different #1 pages of google for different keywords with the same spun article. So the work is actually only the spinning (AMR does this for you, remembering your past spun sentences to save time). If you send out only one spun article every 2 weeks and do the rss feeds/pinging, thats thousands of non-obtrusive backlinks in a few months!

Tip2:

Take snipets of your reviews, spin those and post them to forums and blogs. Convert those URLs (which AMR gives you) with the RSS converter and the use the methods in the above post

Tip3:

if you don't yet have other outsourcing methods, do the following outsource at fiverr.com: go to Socialmonkee.com and enter in some of your high PR backlink URLs (ezinearticles, articlesbase etc or forums and blogs), create feeds, dispatch those feeds to feedburner etc.. and then put those into pingler.com.

Do the same at Yahoo pipes

TIP4:

This strategy is brilliant and very easy too!

Got it, good for article directory submisisons

SEOpressoris is something totally different, this basically tells you (live) what you need to do to reach optimized on-page SEO as you do your reviews and all within the admin panel of wordpress. On-page SEO is so vital and SEOpressor prevents you from missing any of necessary steps. DEAD EASY!

I think my on page seo is pretty tight, I'm following not only Jans advice, but also a previous wso... is this software just aimed at those who don't know on page seo? or does it actually help, even if you're good at on page seo?

Does AMR do a decent job of spinning? I've paid for articles to be spun in the past, and they've come back jibberish

Tip2:

Take snipets of your reviews, spin those and post them to forums and blogs. Convert those URLs (which AMR gives you) with the RSS converter and the use the methods in the above post

I don't really get this method... where exactly do I submit these snippets in someones blog? If I put it in their comments, it will look a bit funny... and the same goes for forums... where do I put my anchor link?

Tip3:

I'm doing this with social monkee... I now understand the importance of backlinking my backlinks... I must look into yahoo pipes.

Thanks for the link... I'll check this out

I have a quick question, I apologize if it was already asked and I missed it. Does the certain review theme you recommend come with this product or do I need to get that seperately? After looking through some other posts and seeing names of other products/services mentioned... are these needed? Will I have to purchase other things in order to use this program? Will I need to be very tech savvy or have to pay to outsource? Thank you!!!

I don't think it's smart to ping a bunch of back links at the same time. From my experience it's better to let the search engines discover your links naturally over time.

With that being said there is nothing wrong with pinging a few recently created back links every now and again but be careful of overdoing it.

The theme does not come with the course, it is one I use and recommend and the cost is $40 if you want to use it or you can use a free theme as well.

You also do not need to use any other services etc.

The guys on the thread are talking about advanced SEO technical stuff which you should not concern yourself with at this point.

Everything you need to be successful is in my course trust me on this.

I also recommend a few things you can buy t speed things up and I also show you how to do these things for free as well.

Hope that helps,

Jan

Hi thedog
I don't really get this method... where exactly do I submit these snippets in someones blog? If I put it in their comments, it will look a bit funny... and the same goes for forums... where do I put my anchor link?

This is where relevant contextual posts are required. There are so many forums and blogs around relevant to these reviews products and entering a spun snippet of a review(in form of an opinion) is an easy way to to provide content. Its better than posting "I found your site very interesting, thanks, Jim BOB" and being rejected. I now also use Microworkers.com to write 125 word reviews on relevant blogs and forums backlinking to my sites and my backlinks.

I think my on page seo is pretty tight, I'm following not only Jans advice, but also a previous wso... is this software just aimed at those who don't know on page seo? or does it actually help, even if you're good at on page seo?

Jan's tutorial are truly excellent, Unfortunately he's not there to look over our shoulders and this is where SEOpressor comes into play, it controls you as you post and tells you what you have forgotten and what you need to do in order to improve the on-page SEO...

I can't do without this because forgetting the simplest things can cost you your rankings = income! and it is certainly also for advanced users or good for outsourcers.

Does AMR do a decent job of spinning? I've paid for articles to be spun in the past, and they've come back jibberish

the spinner is good but not the best on the market but it has a great memory function which enables it to memorize your synonyms/spyntax making future articles easy and also gives you quite a few synonyms to choose from. The main purpose of AMR Submitter is enabling the posting of spun articles from a single source to 100's of directories and you are in full control of where, when, what and how many you want to post to.

You can learn the detailed usage of Yahoo PiPes here it's like everything, easy when you know how

I absolutely agree Jan and that is why I said over months and not weeks, I mentioned posting 1 article every 2 weeks to 300-400 directories automatically and hence getting 1000's of backlinks over time.

we were also talking about backlinking to backlinks and pinging those, not directly to the review sites, this way you avoid "index spamming"

I would Like to say a big thank you to Jan. I bought this course on April 8th. I had the website up a few days later. On Tuesday, March 10th I made my first sale. It was beautiful to see an actual number on Amazon instead of 0.

I built another site about a week or two later, its climbing up quickly and I am backlinking to get it on the first page. The first site I built is on page 1 #9. I am going to continue to get it to number one.

I am preparing other review sites based on keyword research I have been doing. If I can get this done anyone can. Just follow what is in the blueprint, be patient about 4 weeks or so, and you will see results. Try not to deviate and do things "your way" in the beginning, you have much time to tweak later on.

Thanks again Jan!

I just wanted to come back and thank Jan. I bought Jan's course 2 months ago. I got one site up in about 5 days.. it now is consistently increasing in amazon earnings.. I've gone pretty slow in turning sites out.. mostly because I have been trying other things when really I should've just focused and implemented these types of sites.

I've never made any money with Amazon, so this is pretty awesome!

Here's my amazon earnings from 1 site:

Month 1 = $15
Month 2 = $25
Month 3 = $45 (First 12 days of May)

I am excited by this, because I have not done much SEO at all.. in fact 90% of my traffic is coming from forums, actually 1 forum. At the beginning I found 5 forums but only became a member of 1, just to see what would and wouldn't work and went in there and found conversations that were related to the products on my site.. basically I was just looking for questions that I could answer and even though I am no expert on the topic of my site.. it was easy to find info to share in the forum. I only have 2 posts and that's sending about 4-5 visits per day.

I know that's not a ton, only 120-150 or so visitors per month, BUT.. the people that are coming to the site through my signature are targeted based on the topic which is tightly related to my site, I think that's why sales are being made.

I plan to continue forum marketing while focusing on getting the site ranked as well in Google. My goal is to get 30 sites up by end of August with each site making a minimum of $100 per month.

$3,000/month on auto-pilot would be amazing and for me, life changing!

Thanks a TON Jan for sharing this information and making it simple to understand.

Cheers,
ej

Are cloaked affiliate links ok to use or does it ruffle Google's feathers? Before I use them on my next site I want to make sure I don't break any ambiguous "Terms of Service" with the almighty OZ and get called into the principal's office...lol

Also having to rebrand my last site was a PITA but worth it and very "edumacational" (something that no course could teach ya) - this time and from now on I am going with .com ONLY and no dashes. Much easier to rank.

Nice work man.. It really is not hard to do but be careful not to try and force your Google rankings by buying too many back links. Just build them slowly over time and you'll rank every site on page one.

I hear you. I was careful after much reading. I ordered a small amount of article backlinks. It at least showed me it does work. I do not have the time to do it all manually. Learned a little about outsourcing what you just can't do.

looks like one of my websites might have gotten sandboxed..or maybe it's just the google dance?

I was in the top three positions of 4 of my keywords (first for two of them) and now it's no where to be found, and my traffic and sales took a nose dive. I've been building a regular 10-15 links a day for the website and only social bookmark whenever I add a new review. I'm going to continue building links like nothing happend, and hope for the best, but if I don't see any ranking improvements within the month I guess i'm going to have to kill that project and chalk it up as a learning experience.

Shame too, because that one website was bringing in a good $20-40 a day.

Just want to say that Jan's course was excellent from top to bottom!
He gave me a lot of knowledge and insight into amazon review site development.

On my way with my second website already and more in development!
Thanks

You must be using EzArticleLink?! Are you?

You are not alone. Exact same happened to me. I surmise(d) that that is too much too soon - believe it or not.

Turned out my article in EzArticleLink blasted out at that rate and it screwed me.

Also turned out in one month I accumulated a ridiculous 5000 BLs in one month per Google Webmaster tools. Still scratching my head on that one. And to add insult to injury a large imbalance were going to root (which I did not intend and know is bad; Google will take you to the Principals Office)

Here is an alternate fix to keep in mind if your one month plan does not work...

Just get a new domain name and start over.

Also check out how many links you have and how they were distributed by going over to MajesticSEO.com if you are curious as to why it happened.

I am no longer using EzArticleLink. Too much power - no need for it.

I am using Greg's ABC plugin (instead of three-way links) and bookmarking with SocialMonkee and IMAutomator. THAT'S ALL I am doing this time 'round (the bare minimum per Jan's chapter 10) and will spend the rest of my precious time on higher and better use activities

==> researching, selecting, building and launching MORE sites!

Lesson learned!

NOTE: To avoid this volatile Google nonsense I believe (only conjecture) that your site has to be SQUEAKY CLEAN when you first arrive as a new site to the first page or two of Google. Perhaps only start any serious backlinking (if any is needed) only after you've earned some trust (time age) and its safe to assume that your site has already had it's first-time human review by Google. Better not to rush things.
