hi Brian, thanks for helping out. Sounds like it's beginning to work for you as you say; nice1. So can i ask the same basic question to you too -- ie...has your success so far come from using nothing other than what the course provides? Or have you done lots of supplimentary backlinking and keyword research with paid software - and also is Jan recommending a particualr theme that's an extra cost ? I have the socrates theme which is good to play with -But alas, no fancy software such as market samurai or an article submitter or the likes of se nuke x etc.. Have lots of time on my hands though, ...so can dedicate TIME. but no cash flow - literally. Am ok with wordpress and seo... and have screen capture software. Anyway, thanks again...best of luck David

Has anyone else had this problem - everything works on my site - links to amazon, photos of products etc but the only thing that will show on the page is the excerpt of the review- when i click on the 'read review' button nothing happens

The tools that you have been reading about are ABSOLUTELY NOT NECESSARY! Jan's Course is a profitable business AS IS , there are no other tools needed. You'll find once you are starting to make some money that these tools can be used to automate many processes that would normally have to be done manually, this of course, can save you tons of time and speed everything up. You can also give the tools to your VAs to assist them in speeding things up but... as said, none of the tools are obligatory or necessary for your first sites, they are simply being posted here to assist those that already have a little extra cash to spend, in order to ease and automate some of the processes ![]() As far as wordpress theme is concerned, you can use any theme you like but socrates doesn't make it any easier(I also have it). The Review themes that Jan suggests have simply proved to be good for the purpose and the tutorials revolve around these themes which naturally makes things easier to understand. TW

According to this course, which keywords are supposed to bring majority of traffic - individual product name keywords or keywords within the domain name?

You need to add the "url" field and paste in your affiliate link and paste in an "excerpt" into the excerpt field. Tony

Ive got the first 3 done but am not using the slid show feature (removed it as mentioned in manual) so not sure if the other two are needed. I don't want to hijack Jan's thread with this thou, - Ill get back to their support (or jump out the window) |

Nice to see your sites are working. Did you upload all four sites at the same time or first one upload then create another one? Did you used the software for backlinking which Jan has recommended 3WLs? I know he mentioned that it is not necessary but I was wondering whether I shall buy that one as well. I am in the process of making 5 sites and is planning to launch withing 10 days. Thanks Niel

Hi Niel, No special software. I just use the automatic backlinks plugin and I added 1 site to a high pr homepage network for like $27/month. Unfortunately though, as of this morning I noticed my oldest site has a severe penalty for some reason. Still appears to be indexed though and it wasn't one of my better performing sites.. ![]() ![]() I launched these about 1 week from each other..down to 2 sites for the time being. The funny thing is I didn't do anything different to the 2 sites that were penalized. I'm also following the course exactly as instructed. Good luck! Brian |

Hey Niel, Thanks! But unfortunately my newest site definitely has a penalty. Google penalty checker states "severe penalty" and when I type in www.sitename.com it should show up but doesn't. The only thing positive is that it still appears to be indexed..I'll ride it out and see what happens.. ![]() |

there seems to be a lot of that crap going on with Google lately. make sure to build those EDU backlinks!!! An EDU link a day keeps the Google "Cubicle Warriors" away. I also prefer only doing .com domains (no dashes). Heard it from a Warrior dude who has been doing this for a living for 15 years. Much easier to rank. |

Yup, only sticking with .com or .net. Actually, the very first thing I do is build 10 .edu links once everything is indexed. Then, 2 weeks later I build 20. I'm just going to rebuild this site on a .com tonight. I'm also going to throw it on a different hosting account just to be safe. Another thing that's interesting is I built an autoblog 2 years ago and all of a sudden I'm getting traffic and a few sales..go figure!!! |

yeah its nuts - so little correlation to the Google madness. They've got poorly trained low-paid "outsourced" employees assessing sites once they get flagged for audit and many times they just assess your site incorrectly (false positive). Oh well... just move on. I use Greg's ABC too. Make sure not to build too many BLs to the root disproportionlly to those hitting your inner pages. That's what I did by accident - I diagnosed it just by looking at MajesticSEO stats. Hey live and learn! lol i also only use the ABC widget links to pt to my buffer sites, not to my $site. just in case since because those BLs come and go and site owners put them under "Sponsored Links" which might be a bit of a red flag to Google. Just being extra cautious. Just to be clear - I really messed up and caused the SEVERE Penality on my first site - no need for alarm. If everyone follows Jan's course to the T they'll be just fine. Easy Sailing! |

So, where do you guys get majority of traffic? From product name keywords or from the keywords within the domain name and similar?

Hey Jan, Just wanted to pop in with news that I nailed 5 sales in 2 days. Only thing they were for other items instead of what I had to offer. Gotta love those tracking cookies. Anyway, I got a comment from someone asking me to put up a Facebook fan page. Things are definitely looking up and I have you to thank! ![]() |

heh, yeah, thanks for the advice guys. I have taken note. Can someone tell me the differrence between this course btw and the 'pathetic money makers' course i see on the forum also? Matt R seems well respected too. Plus, if i were to dive into this amazon lark would i redirect traffic to amazon.com or amazon.co.uk? i live in the UK, but am an affiliate with both.. Doesn't amazon UK cap its payout at £7; is this the case with .com also? Finally, i am tempted to start a separate discussion perhaps centred around the choice between becoming an Amazon man or becoming a mlsp man (network marketing). Am not sure if it's appropiate to bring up on this thread; but would be great to hear anyone's experience of the two differrent stategies --- though, mlsp (being a funded proposal) is also a very good affiiate program (19 products in funnel)... That is the only thing that is stopping me starting up the Amazon thing... i havn't time to do both...though ideally, i would pretty much completely outsource amazon niche sites anyway (in my dreams presently!) Anyone any comment? cheers David |

That's great Shenna. You will find that a very big percentage of your sales will come from unrelated products which is a great bonus. For example, yesterday I sold an HDTV and a very expensive video camera and I don't have sites for those. The 2 sales were over 2K combined and made me some great extra cash. This happens month in and month out and is another reason I love Amazon's affiliate program so much. Cheers Jan

Matt's PMM is a different kettle of fish, he shows you a way to very easily set up niche sites that are more or less a set and forget method. They are a combination of Adsense and Amazon(the optic is designed for Adsense) but the initial purchase (not the course) is nowhere near as detailed as Jan's, in so far, that Jan gives you incredibly detailed tutorials/video tutorials needed to setup a successful business without the need of external help. I'm a member of Matt's exclusive PMM Forum which btw, is not available to the Public. The backend to the PMM offer and the main part is more expensive, it is where the outsourcing of his business models are taught in GREAT detail. Basically, they are two totally different systems, Jan teaches the ins and outs of replicating his profitable system and Matt teaches how to outsource his models. Both are excellent tutorials While Matts PMM is based on different methods, he does have an excellent separate program that teaches outsourcing in general that can be combined and is complimentary not only to Jan's business model but to any system. This way everyone wins ![]() EDIT: Just one more thing...Adsense sites are designed to drive people away from your site whereby you by earn a few cents through the Adsense Ads. On certain product niches the clicks have a very low value. Amazon sites(specifically Jan's) are designed to take people to the product they are searching for where in many cases, people buy more than just one product. This means more income and when leaving your site they are cookied, so if they buy later you still get paid. For your interest...I tried adsense on Jan's review sites and my Amazon sales drastically dropped (40%) but my adsense revenue increased. The profit margin was much higher when using only Amazon links but like I said..PMM is more of a set and forget method and the idea is to build multiple sites that produce less income per site. Hey Jan and other people who have brought this course, Does the traffic generation in this course consist of Free organic methods(SEO) or paid methods or both? I only ask because I cant do Google Adwords PPC. I got banned by them 2 years ago for no real reason like many others. Thanks, Marcus |

Are the videos sufficient without the PDF and vise versa. If I learn better by video I wouldn't need the PDF unless additional material was covered, correct? How many pages on the PDF.....25-30? |

I launched 2 of Jan style sites so far. I have made a sale from both sites already - both were launched within days of each other. Although I have previous experience with Amazon. I wanted to take this up a level. This is why I got into Jan's course. My second Jan style site just yesterday sold a $400 item.. so even at 6% that's around $24 commission for one item! The site was launched 11th May ![]() ![]() I must admit I have experience in SEO and backlinking, but Jan will get this through to you in his course if you pay attention and follow his plan to the letter - He simply bolstered what i'd already been doing! My first site is now onto first page for my 2 main keywords. If you can afford it, and your prepared to do the work - then get Jan's course!! Chris

I'll let you into a little secret You can get PhotoShop for $400.00 or CorelDraw for $600.00 or you could get a program which does just the about same (only much easier to use) for $0.00 which btw, is the backend bonus to this WSO Just food for thought ![]() TW

Hey guys, Just transferred the site that was penalized to a new domain. For some reason I can't get the slides to show in the featured content area..I just get a bar that appears. Almost as if it was loading or something. Can't figure it out. Went through all the steps numerous times to double check everything. Anyone else noticing this? If so, is there an easy remedy? Thanks!
