First off, I would like to say a BIG thankyou to JAN for allowing us to discuss these techniques here...it is obviously a topic which many people are interested in and rightly so...because if you get this wrong, it can backfire!

I have just had a PM with one of Jans customers and he has asked me to Post the PM in here for others to see, so here it is:

-------------------------

"hey TW do u have a strategy on using AMR?

I used it on a profitable site to boost my rankings and got it sandboxed for months now! terribly upset.

If you have discussed this somewhere coul you point it to me in the forum ?

Thanks in advance!"

------------------------------------
"Sh... BaD NEWS!

How did that happen?
How many links did you send out?

TW"
---------------------------

"Thanks for replying

this was back in feb i cant recall hw many but i believe it was agressive, VERY AGRESSIVE all links pointing to only homepage!! within an hour i lost my rankings!

What is the recommended no of links ?? any idea"

----------------------------

"AHA.....

I Have posted this a few times in Jan's thread....man that's annoying.

1. You should post to a MAX of 400 articles directories about every 3 weeks(NEVER MORE - 200-300 is also great)

2. ALSO NEVER just link to the homepage!!!!! that is the BIGGEST mistake with ANY form of backlinking

3. On page 29 of Jan's WSO HERE Iwent into detail about how to use the resourceBox...this is SO important!

I don't know how many times I and Jan hve warned people about doing Backlinks the WRONG way.

AMR is designed to DRIP FEED and not to BLAST!!!

If you do as I suggest in the post...your site will come back...but it will take time now.

You need three articles that say something about your niche approx 500 words each....simply post them each with their own Title but do the resource box as I say in the post above.

Set the articles to go out, each at about 25 articles per hour but do ONE article every 3 weeks

your Site will come back!

Very important.....FORGET this site once you have done it....DO the next, the problem is psychological. People just keep looking at the one site and become despaired when "**** happens". THAT IS THE WRONG WAY TO THINK! BUILD..BUILD..BUILD and you'll make money AND follow the SEO exactly.

Cheers
TW"
-------------------------------

"Man awesome reply. Im about to go out now and will read again.

One last Q

Do you use 3waylinks?

ALSO you can post this message you sent me in the forum, i think it will help everyone.

Thanks once again."

############################################

So basically everyone...PLEASE, PLEASE listen to what JAN and I are saying regarding Backlinking TOO QUICKLY......

The way I do it, I have NEVER had a problem because I don't lose patience and try to over do it!!!!!!!!

and yes, use 3WLs when you have about 4-5 sites up, the automation is invaluable but it's not worth it if you only have one or two sites

Cheers

OK GUYS.......

I hope I don't regret this............I'll show you one of my sites where I use AMR.

You'll notice that I am on page #1 and #2 ****13 TIMES**** using AMR for "best smokers grills Reviews"

I'm averageing about 60 uniques and 180 pages(and climbing) per day and the site sells well.

The site is about 1 1/2 months old and the only Backlinking I have ever done is AMR, WP-SYNDICATE in my sig and RSS feeds

I re-designed the website and got it copyrighted. I did all the graphics myself using the tools in this WSO now I outsource everything.

The site still dances a bit but I have only ever put up 2 articles with AMR, each to about 300 directories. If I put another 2 articles up, this would stay at #1 for MANY keywords and I already rank for many. The competition saw me coming and built more backlinks to their site bbq...

If someone wanted to, they could easily blast backlinks at this site now and get it degraded or even copy it....but I want to show you this because I can build these sites extremely quickly now..for saftey reasons, all my sites are on different IP addresses.

You'll also notice that I didn't use "Best" or "Reviews" in the domain name in this example, yet it ranks for the words beacause I FOLLOW JANS TUTORIALS to the "T"

Best Smokers Grills Reviews|Propane Gas Grills|Gas Smoker Grills, Brinkmann, Weber, Char-griller

@tigerwar.

When submitting to AMR, do you sort the order of PR of the directories so you submit mostly to PR1+ article directories or isn't this necessary?

When you signup to the article directories, do you need to use a paid email address or will a free email address work ok?

I write an article for each product review rather than general articles about the niche. So in this case, would you recommend submitting all the articles at once using AMR but submitting to less directories instead of 200-300?

Hi Cooler,

1. Right, I don't send to PR0

2.I have never tried it with a free email address but I wouldn't advise doing that...the top article directories expect seriousness and it's not wrth trying to submit and being rejected...why...who likes working in vain and paying for articles that can't be used anymore?

3. My personal opinion here would be to send only ONE article, but unfortunately, it seems as if you haven't completely read my posts or you didn't quite understand them....I said a few times...ensure your NICHE KEYWORD DENSITY is good, meaning....Try to use LSI keywords on EVERY POST, this way you can utilize the resourceBox to its full extent as I explained in this post on the last page and get every post ranked with ONE article!!!!!!!!

This way you can send out once or twice a month only and kill 100s of birds with one stone instead of using all of your amunition at once

cheers

Your welcome Zimbizee, I know it's a lot easier when you see proof, especially in this format of 13 sites on page 1&2. I just hope it doesn't backfire on me now thru bad minded people.

What you will find here, is that the main keyword, in this case "smokers grills" will take longer to rank for when making backlinks to BEST..blah bla bla, but they rise with time because they're targeted WITHIN the other keywords.

tigerwar,

What theme is that you are using and is that site currently converting? The reason I ask is because it has some formatting problems when clicking on some of the links.

Great information btw

I clicked on read review for the first product and the next screen had some formatting issues. If you would like PM me your email address and I will send you a screen capture.

I was viewing it in Firefox browser.

Thanks for the capture Tadpole,

It appears you are using an old browser that still using the old interpretation of css, I debugged my site and everthing is fine in 4 different browser types.

The only css problem registered was s.ytimg.com "ignored" as I always turn this off, because it's a spy program that can be used to access your camera, found at E.g youtube when watching flash videos.

So it looks like you need to update your browsers

Thanks anyway for your help

cheers

No problems on the capture. I have 3 browsers on this computer and checked them all and could duplicate the capture with all three. Chrome and Firefox 4.0.1 both have no updates available so not sure what it could be.

Hell don't worry about it its working for you. That's one of the problem with the internet everyone has a different version of something on their computers so it is almost impossible to build a site that works or looks 100% everywhere.

Hi Jan, I have just bought, and gone through your course and I must say that it is AMAZING!
I would like to ask a question, I know you make a lot of money from being an affiliate with many different affiliate programmes but how many sites do you have that are just from Amazon products and how much do you make from them on average per site? I am very sorry if this is an intrusive question but I have joined several different affiliate programmes but would like to start out just promoting Amazon products and would like to have an average to go by so that I can try to figure out how long it should take me to make a decent income as I am really desperate to leave my awful call center job. I am aware that every niche is differrent and it all depends on how much work I put into it but I more than dececated to this.
Sorry again for the personal question and I understand if you would rather not answer it, kind regards Polly.

Hi Danny,

The sales are from a single site. I was very focused in building it and wanted to succeed at all cost . Jan's course showed me the way. The sales are consistent now and are getting better. The daily traffic is in the region of 700-800 visitors per day of which about 40% are from US.

I have started two new sites and got carried away with back linking and now they are out of the SERPs. Hope it comes back soon. Lesson learned - don't push it too hard!

Attached is the sales from the site so far in Jun. Hope it will be an encouragement to those who need it.

All the best.

Great to see some feedback on this. I'm working on 4 sites simutaniously, not sure if that's the best method, but I'm in too deep now

Great numbers for not even half a month.

A few questions, how old is your site? Have you done it all yourself, or outsourced? I've outsourced articles, and now, backlinking.

Also, very interested, is your url a general product name/type, or does it contain a buying keyword, such as "buy" or "for sale"?

Those are pretty high search numbers, you must be targeting all sorts of keywords?

That's great from only one site.

How many reviews do you have on that site and how many of your product keywords are ranking in the #1-#3 slots on Google.

Nigel, don't show your sites man. I regret showing mine in a way. There are now about 10 exact same duplicates with the same graphics and even the same content. These people can't even be bothered to change the graphics and content and this sort of thing ruins it for everyone else.

Btw, I just got back from the Warrior event in Raleigh after missing all my flights because Air Force One and Pres Obama held our plain on the runway for an hour.

I'll send out an email to you guys tonight telling you all about it.

Yeah I know you did it out of the goodness of your heart which is what I did but let me tell ya there's a lot of shady people around here and if your site is making money I'd take it off but won't mention it anymore in order not to draw attention to it more than whats necessary.

Hey Tiger... just read your reply again, and one thing has struck me. I was told it was best to supply 1 url for the first month, with 3 keywords.

Do you really think this is bad, just targeting 1 page? For the next month I plan to add 2 more urls, and different keywords.

Also, in a previous post of yours,

If someone wanted to, they could easily blast backlinks at this site now and get it degraded or even copy it....but I want to show you this because I can build these sites extremely quickly now..for saftey reasons, all my sites are on different IP addresses.

When you say your sites are on different IP address, does this mean you have many hosting accounts? Can you explain the advantages of this, all I can think of is being able to link your sites to each other without being google slapped.

Also, cheers for sharing your site, nice to see you've put your own spin on it than a completly cloned janazon site and a .biz! why .biz?

.. no offense to Jan, but I'm starting to see a lot of his sites popping up... do you think amazon is going to get overcrowded? I mean, this thread is still going and they wso you reccomended sold 1723 in one day!

Hey TW, I'm still trying to get my head around how best to use keywords to drive traffic... is this right...

1) identify the keywords that people are searching for in your niche, LSI

2) Use the LSI in your articles

3) Use them as anchor text in your backlinks, and target multiple pages?

4) AMR lets you easily spin anchor text in the resource box of your articles?

Is that pretty much what's going on here?

Cheers.

2. When you say your sites are on different IP address, does this mean you have many hosting accounts? Can you explain the advantages of this, all I can think of is being able to link your sites to each other without being google slapped.

3. Also, cheers for sharing your site, nice to see you've put your own spin on it than a completly cloned janazon site and a .biz! why .biz?

4. .. no offense to Jan, but I'm starting to see a lot of his sites popping up... do you think amazon is going to get overcrowded? I mean, this thread is still going and they wso you reccomended sold 1723 in one day!
1. Well, I don't understand the logic of getting and PAYING for backlinks to one page when I can backlink to every page for NUMEROUS keywords when and how I want and as You have no control over the backlinks...I would never do this (only MHO)

2. a.) Different Ips give you the security of your sites from being mass scraped b.)better backlinks as you say and c.) if your IP gets branded, you only lose those sites.

3. biz, was to see how it competes with com - and it turns out that .com is no competition but could be a trust difficiency from the buyer's side

4. Jan's SYSTEM will NEVER get saturated and btw...1723 sold in one day is great for WSO but drop in the ocean compared to 20,000,000,000 (20 billion web pages or 100,000,000 websites)

The Product market has only been scratched at the surface.

yes and ADD LSI keywords to your articles(this prevents keyword stuffing) but you also have to find a good niche (not your niche)

2) Use the LSI in your articles yes

3) Use them as anchor text in your backlinks, and target multiple pages?

yes, use your titles(your keywords) and LSI keywords

example: "best pink frog reviews - 3 legged frogs" or
.............."how to find pink frogs - saber toothed frogs in africa"

4) AMR lets you easily spin anchor text in the resource box of your articles? yes

Is that pretty much what's going on here? yep

Cheers.
Another little tip and good way of finding products/keywords is to go to the category section at amazon and enter those into youtube...search using - within 1 month and how many views and see which products are getting 1000's of views in the last 2 weeks.

Take your time finding keywords or products, this makes or breaks your success.

EDIT: Driving traffic to website is something totally different than getting backlinks to your website, I could show you many ways but that would go beyond the capabilities of this thread. You can get some great traffic using these techniques

cheers

Well, they got back to me with a clear description of what's being done... and if fairness, it does sound like a pretty good service, with lots of warrior recommendations. They use seo nuke x and best article spinner to submit to lots of directories, create web 2.0 pages and back link to them also. For the money, I think it's pretty good, but, we'll see what the results are like, I'm going to give it 3 months... I know things can take time in this game.

2. a.) Different Ips give you the security of your sites from being mass scraped b.)better backlinks as you say and c.) if your IP gets branded, you only lose those sites.

So, this are different hosting accounts? Also, a .biz doing as well as a .com... can this be another myth busted?... but agree that a .com carries more authority in a buyers eyes.

3. biz, was to see how it competes with com - and it turns out that .com is no competition but could be a trust difficiency from the buyer's side

It's not a push button method...
1. take 2 hours for niche/keword research
2. 2 hours to do some graphics
3. 2 hours for seo
4. buy an alarm clock, set each stage for 2 hours, take 1/2 break between the chors, turn TV off and any other distraction and in effect you could have 5 sites up in one week.

Seems like you've got it down... I'm still fine tuning my method, but, you're right, you gotta just do it. I found, like many on here, I was always reading, but never doing.

I'm still perfecting my method, the seonuke wso handles the weakest part for me, backlinking... I can do the odd blog comment, social monkee, rss sub, article submit etc... but it's the backlink structure that I'm weak at... plus, knowing when and how much to submit.

I'm still waiting for it all to come together, but I know I'll get there... even with this $hitty slow chinese internet connection.

Today I'm trying to figure out how to find do-follow blogs with scrapebox... I installed the dofollow/nofollow addon, but just got a load of 403 errors...

Anyway, cheers for the info TW... I'm actually taking a few notes from your grill site, like adding a watch video button to the homepage.

You're always giving advice, thought I'd share this one.

You can add a button to an embedded youtube vid, linking to your affiliate link with this, LinkedTube - Video Links For YouTube

Backlinking is easy...using the tools I provide, it's automated--don't think too much about it!

DOFOLLOW, NOFOLLOW, WON'TFOLLOW, CAN'TFOLLOW = BS and yet another reason for marketers to increase the price of backlinks!

an indexed backlink is a backlink.

Computers work in binary, 1=IS, 0=IS NOT

IS backlink = 1

hello guys,

just want to say i made my first sale a few days ago. just a measly $4. just manage to build one site using jan's technique; a site under a month old and only about 2 visitors per day. haven't done any backlinking, or any article/video marketing and no bookmarking either. traffic only come from google searches. too lazy to follow up, after im done building the site. plus kinda busy from last month till the end of this week.

however, with only bare minimum effort i still manage to get some sale despite the uber low traffics. this goes to shows that jan's techniques really works. i'm going to put more efforts from now on. no more lazying around and wasting my time doing unproductive activities.

Hello thedog, tigerwar, cooler1

My site is about 1 year old now. I did everything on my own. Bought some carefully selected backlink packages from the forum. My URL consists of two words - niche + tips and I do not use any sales words in the URL.

The niche is on an area that I am passionate about and have many years of experience dealing with it. My blog is all about providing solution to user problems and 100 - 150 visitors per day are either direct URL traffic or repeat visitors. Many of my posts (about 290 now) are often referred in places such as Yahoo Answers/ehow/Craiglist. I am getting good natural backlinks from all this references. I personally answer all comments by visitors to my posts.

I am only targeting 4 keywords and they are now on the first of Google. Most of my traffic are from Google and nothing much from Yahoo or Bing. When I started I got the whole idea of keyword research wrong and did not have any clue. Jan's course showed me the way and I restructured my site accordingly.

I did not do much analysis of competition and just went ahead in a very competitor electronics niche. Often my sales have nothing to with my niche. Today I sold

HTC Phone Android Phone ($489.99)
Vodoo Spider Pair of Tattoo Sleeves ($9.99)

and last month I sold

Apple Ipone 4G ($759.99)
High End Desktop PC ($970)

The important thing is to get your visitors to Amazon as soon as possible. Don't keep them too long on your site as it is not going make you any money. Once they are in Amazon you never know what they will buy. Me selling Vodoo Tattoo sleeves ? - no chance!

Don't be bogged down with too much of analysis. Just do it! Be prepared to work very long hours. You have to put in the hours. Don't believe the Guru who says you only need 30 minutes per day to succeed. It is more like 30 hour per week! Track your visitors and fine tune your site to make it useful for them.

Do your own research and stick to what Jan teaches. Be careful of who you listen to. Yes, despite the wonderful psychological effect of mob-mentality, where a group begins to believe something just because so many other people are repeating it, our ACTUAL results in the REAL world are far different. You have to create your own results.

Let me give you a quote from Leslie Rhode - the God father of SEO, who presented the following as his answer to a question regarding how much analysis of competition someone should do for a given keyword:

“Who cares! Organize right and do the right things and success is guaranteed in time. Measuring the competition is only about gauging how long it will take. Plan for the long term and competition doesn’t matter. Moreover, your competition is likely lame anyway, so setting them as your measure of success is in most cases aiming low. Google is not your competition. Your competition is not your competition. Your only competition is that part of you, your life and your business that results in less of the right effort than is required to get the results you want.

All the best.

Hey Zimbizee,

Before you start investing in a good cloaker, I'm just testing a new wp-plugin that gets everything from amazon , saves all the time of getting images and designing and cloaks as well....

I'll come back and tell you what I think about it in a few days

Hi Peterlaz,

So it sounds like your site wasn't so successful until implementing Jan's system and I know, people who follow Jans Tutorials will all be reaping the benefits within a much fast time period than 1 year.

Jan's system is based more on the Sales platform level opposed to a niche discussion board which enables the fast setting up of multiple sites.

I do agree that interaction from the website owner can boost a web presence, but it's not the key pricinple behind Jan's sites...The key to his system is the ability to create a volume of sites using Simple SEO strategies and easy step deisigns with non selling reviews. Also, you made a good point regarding keeping the readers too long on the website....they should leave to the product page A.S.P

I absolutely don't agree with the fact that 30 hours are necessary....These review site can be setup by a newbie with in 6 hours of manual work, much less when advanced and interaction is certainly not necessary in order to accomplish the goals.

Nevertheless...it's great to hear that his system has helped to turn your site into a profitable venture.

cheers

@peterjamesmorris.

You could use YouTube. That is a powerful source of traffic if you use the right keywords.

There is also press releases. Ive had press releases written, but i haven't seen it make any difference to the sales.. although i've only submitted them to 3 press release sites. If you submitted to about 10-15 sites, it may be more effective. Plus PR's are a good source of backlinks also.

Also you could try forum posting on niche related forums with a link to your site. Someone earlier in this thread had success with that, although it does seem time consuming.

My sites also have been bouncing in the SERP's. Mine are about 3 months old. How old is your site?

Your right about the search results not making sense. For one of my sites main keywords. The site which is on page 1, slot #1 is a very thin site with only 3 short reviews and 2 backlinks, yet my site which has 10 reviews and backlinks from articles, press release, etc... isn't even in the top 50.

Their site doesn't have affiliate links on it though, i wonder if that is why Google is ranking them so high. Their domain will be older than mine, but ive heard that Google doesn't place a big importance on domain age so im not sure if that is a reason.

Hi Jan
Just a quick note to say that i am in. I purchased this morning. U.K. time and i have been really impressed. I am not a newbie but like many I have gone through the magpie shiny object syndrome and bought everything going. Hard to believe some of the rubbish out there, ah well never mind i am sure some of the numerous plug ins etc that i own will come in useful.
So on with the review....
Started this morning and managed to get as far as writing four product reviews after research and domain purchase ... and yes i own market samurai... so that was easier.Looking at the layout of your site helped a lot as far as writing the reviews and i do not intend to outsource until i am happy with the whole system.
It looks like i should physically be able to build a review site from scratch in 2 days and then on to seo stuff 1 day so possible to build 2 sites a week... does that seem right ..i can work at this pretty much full time and would like to get 10 sites up and running quickly so that i can properly judge the merits.
As i said i am not a newbie but the knowledge contained here is exceptional and for the first time i feel confident of producing a reasonable income..... If I could just mention TIGERWAR and say many thanks for you informative and well structured comments which went a long way to convincing me that this was a good investment. Also some great little "golden nuggets" thanks for sharing on this forum. If Tigerwar and Jan are the calibre of people involved i am very pleased to be involved.
All in all $97 or £60 for a complete business model is amazing value for money and i highly recommend this..... Having said that i hope not too many get involved i don't want the competition.....p.s. i love the no refund concept.... how about that for confidence in what you do.

I've already converted the best products into presentations and uploaded them to youtube, along with a few informational article videos too (I built a related youtube channel). My videos get plenty of views, and I get some traffic from them. The problem I have, is that my site specifically targets the UK, but I'm not sure if there is a way to get Youtube to show my videos mainly to UK searchers. As a result, most of the traffic I get from Youtube is from the US, but all my affiliate links point to Amazon UK. I did try the localizer plugin, but I have my affiliate links masked with Pretty Links so it doesn't work. Didn't want to disable Pretty Links and chance ruining the great click-through rate I'm getting.

I'll have a go at the Press Release idea, but it's not a very exciting niche so I'm not sure how I could word a Press Release to make it compelling lol!

My site is 1.5 months old. It's been on the first page of Google.co.uk since its 2nd week (there is zero UK competition in this niche, so the top 10 is mainly just retail sites who are doing little SEO).

Since strange things started happening, US sites are now on the front page of Google.co.uk for this keyword, which kind of defeats the object of having a localised search! But hopefully this is all temporary - like I said I did come back to the top for a couple of days at the weekend (along with a nice 20% higher rate of traffic). I can't imagine Google would want to keep these spammy sites at the top for long.

But it got me thinking about other forms of traffic that I could attract to the site rather than just relying on Google. If you take Google traffic plus other traffic sources, might be able to scale the profits even higher (if Google sort out the SERPs that is lol). Trouble is I spent the last 4 months learning about Google, so I'm pretty clueless about where else to get traffic from!
Hi Peter,

As you are into video(an excellent traffic driver) and you are pretty much into google:

1: Is your site entered at google for targeting the UK or US and all english speaking countries(although I don't really see a difference on my sites, I target US and get the world)

2: when using videos, you shouldn't base your marketing only on youtube, there are many others that get high rankings also with bing/yahoo but more important is to get the videos on your site if you're targeting traffic to your site and not direct links to Amazon and such...

By submitting to multiple high page rank video sharing sites, you’re
it will more or less guaranty a #1 ranking on Google within a day using these sites. Even within hours.

Go to Fiverr.com and enter "account sign-up" or similar, they will create emails and login accounts for $5.00, find a name from India(more reliable and trustworthy) and once you have them on the hook, tell them you'll pay slightly more if they upload your videos to the following:

VIDEO UPLOADS

sevenload - Web TV, Videos, Photos, Video Clips and Movies
High-quality DivX video in your browser
Bing Video - Bing Videos.
Video
blip.tv - discover the best in original web series
Funny Videos, Funny Clips & Funny Pictures | Break.com
Videos - Free video downloads and streaming video - CNET TV
Dailymotion.com
Metacafe - Online Video Entertainment - Free video clips for your enjoyment
Video Marketing = ReelSEO, The Online Video Marketing Guide
http://www.revver.com
Watch Movies Online For Free | Your #1 Online Movie Experience | Veoh.com

You can get extremely high rankings if you put the vids on your site but CREATE A videositemap.xml. This has an incredible impact on the traffic as your site get indexed for the videos, independant of your normal sitemap.xml. There are a few good plugins at wordpress.org for this purpose.

creat MRSS FEEDS of your video urls and ask the same person to sign up at the following if necessary

Submit mRSSFeeds and VideoRSSFeed:

Yahoo! Search - Video Search
Yahoo! Search - Video Search
ClipBlast - World's Largest Video Search
Video Search Engine - Blinkx

By doing this, you'll never have to worry about getting less traffic from the UK

cheers

Hi TW,

I just want to know is it okay to get "Whois Guard" protection while registering domain name?

Does turning it On/Off has any affect on rankings etc.

Thanks.

Hi Alearner

I use that on all my sites and it's never been an obstacle in any way or form, give google what the want; good content, abide by the rules and regs and you could call yourself Santa Claus, Mickey Mouse...they'ld still love you

cheers
