I understand you rpoint with the credit card, but I just start with IM and want to make a couple of bucks or euros on the side. If my site only makes 100 dollars or euros a months I don't care as long as I do not have to do a lot for the 100 $ or €. I am totally aware of not become a millionare over night and with the push of a button and that you have to work for your money, but I want to learn from people with experience.

So I guess I start with my keyword research and if I find a nice keyword I look for the domain and then I look for products in clickbank or amazon, is that correct?

By the way nice support and discussion here and a lot of awesome tips and feedback. Thanks to all, especially to TIGERWAR.

Dan
Absolutely right Daniel....and this is one thing you really have to take seriously...it is a BUSINESS. This wouldn't really be copying as every person has their own interpretation of a translation. If you try to use google translate english->german, you might just as well write it in japanese from the begining. So this would be classed as totally unique.

If you use Jan's system correctly and CONSEQUENTLY, you'll be making a good living. The biggest problem involved is self-discpline, that's why you'll notice me posting referring to certain tools here, the purpose is to automate some of the more tedious tasks which is where most people start to procrastinate and fail in their endeavours to continue.

If you can get 10 sites up in 5 months, you're not a dreamer rather a disciplined worker and you'll reap the benefits because you'll earn enough money to outsource everything and automate the growth.

One site, if you have the reviews and graphics already finished will take about SIX hours to setup up completely as a novice but most people hate the monotony and repetitious tasks and fail to carry on...Instead they stay glued to their displays and wait for the sales to happen....This is the wrong way to think....you must forget the finished sites and build the next.

Maybe one or two niches out of ten won't work and this is the reason to set and forget..just do the next.

Mark my words....if you follow this advice...you'll be a winner

cheers

Hi Ross..

I'd like to ask a few questions...

1) Has your system changed from the original one? I mean after the google's update and all that "panda" thing... is your original system still effective?

2) I found out you liked certain WSO Wordpress theme... is it still bringing you results or is that the one you still like to use?

3) I read somewhere that you were about to launch a new WSO about SEO, do you have it available yet?

Thanks man.

I second that. I bought 7 seo packages of another warrior on here. Asked some simple questions about a site I was thinking of promoting, and she said that this would be consulting and could only answer questions directly about the wso... Nice to see some people aren't so bloody money grabbing.

Thanks for the kudos guys

I like to help where I can, been at the begining myself and I know what it's like. Obviously, it's not imperative to get the programs that I suggest but I do always approach these things in a logical manner and actually use or have tried them in 99% of the time. If not, I will tell you so.

The logical sense behind all this, is that many of us have neither the time nor the will or the patience to do the tedious jobs and at the same time, there's not enough cash to outsource things, so it's a matter of finding a happy medium so that the motivation isn't lost due to the monotony.

I for one, am a real procrastinate when it comes to repetitious tasks, I'll do everything else that has to be done if I can avoid the tedious chors. I'll clean the carpet, tidy up my desktop or maybe wash the car...ANYTHING, just please no boring, repetitious stuff on the PC. It driveas me crazy and I often notice the incentive be sucked outa me when it comes to the "must do's".

So I'm always on the lookout for better possibilities, anything that minimizes those tasks are a GOD SEND and the quick referrence guides that I try to supply you with are all part of minimizing your physical investments and efforts.

You'll notice I never show stuff with recurring monthly costs such as senukeX. There's big learning curve for those programs = time and the costs are better invested in other smaller, easier programs for the purposes of ranking these sites.

I'm happy to see that many of you benefit from my efforts and will always try(time providing) to assist where I can. It's all about building your business without plunging into debt and thereby keeping the motivation going to better your finacial capabilities and standards of living.
Let's go for it!

Thanks guys

Hey Vick,
I noticed you posted this before, sorry, must have overlooked it!

It appears that Jan is busy updating his projects at the moment so I'll jump in for him.

1. the only thing that's changed is that Jan continually improves his tutorials and provides the necessary information to counter such google updates.

His system is 100% conform with google rules and regs and that's the reason for it's success. Google loves this approach.

2. These theme are designed to attract the readers and prove to be extremely sucessful. It isn't a necessity though, you can use any website theme and they also have nothing to do with the SEO, they're simply good from a viewers point of view.

3. His new SEO WSO can be found HERE

cheers

As Tiger said above. My sites have increased in ranking and traffic by around 20% since the panda update.

Some of my sites are also regarded as authority sites and rank for almost all of the keywords in the niche. This is a good long term strategy to earn auto pilot income once the initial work is done.

Cheers,

This is truly a fantastic and serious business opportunity, I have now put up 23 sites in 6 months and the next 6 are on the way (pretty slow, but I haven't been outsourcing this for so long). I am already laughing all the way to the bank and I started out with the same sceptism as you (I think every one does that)
Gold is an investment and you're standing right in the middle of the mine, it's there for the taking....what you do with your gold though, is of course up to you.

This is so damn simple that literally any one can do it but it isn't "That magic Button"...it's a business, it entails a little work, at least untill you're able to outsource everything and if you take your income seriously and are not just one of those dreamers hoping that money grows on trees, believe in investing your time to build a sustainable business, then you can't go wrong with Jan's system.

Don't take my word for it...go through the thread and you'll finally realize, that the time invested reading the posts should have been time spent building your first site!

cheers
TW
Another thing to note is that once your sites start making money daily and grow over the months or years they become really valuable assets which you could easily sell for 10 to 20 times earnings. That's if you want to sell them which I don't.

Cheers

Most Amazon products give a 10% reduction on there products and that (although not much) is a great enticement for people to check out the products, in other words..click on your link and move accross to Amazon...

One thing people love is interactivity, if they feel they're getting something, they're more likely to click on the links = commission.

One brilliant way to do this is to offer a percentage off the price...but how?

You have to make them curious and as Amazon more often than not offer a percentage anyway you can use this to your advantage by E.g partially hiding a secret access word behind a link button with a title like:

"check the reduced price by entering the code"
or
"save upto 12 %..check the coupon"

instead of the boring "buy at Amazon"

you get the jist of what I mean...

The important psychological part of this, is to get them to interact by typing a code word and feel they're getting something special, if they're not 100% convinced by your written reviews they will still be curious to see the how much they can save...it always works, humans were born curious!

This guy has just put up a fantastic plugin that automates the coupon integration...it's a brilliant idea, check it out before he raises it

Cheers

Right Ben...it's a killer tactic...."The get this free" only works in certain niches and they're not necessarily buyers rather freebie collectors but people looking for reviews are in general buyers, so nothing works better than offering a possible reduction

I've been following this thread for a long time, and i'm impressed to see the continuity of this.
Everyday there is something new being shared here.. especially from TW. ... great job dude.

It's motivated me enough to start my 1st Amazon site, i know it's gonna be be a lot of work in the beginning... but i just knowing the system works.. if I follow instructions an stay focus and keep taking action, I just might have a very Merry Christmas

I have a question maybe TW or Jan can answer. I have a limited budget of around $200 to start with, excluding price of domain an hosting. What software of services do you think is essential to start with to get the most bang for my budget?

Thanks for all the great work guys.

Hey thanks kerron

Believe me, you've made a wise decision in getting Jan's System and you're thinking absolutely the right way...Think Xmas, it's now half way thru the year and if you consequently build your sites you'll be ranking at the top in the best season
Take your time, don't over do the work, take a break for a couple of days when you need it cos this way you stay motivated and the ideas have room to breath.

As far as the costs are concerned, you really only need the things that Jan suggests in his tutorials but it really depends on your own capabilities and talents. Some people can write articles, others find keyword research simple without souped up tools or others can design graphics....You'll see very quickly which are your strong points and which are not.

I started out doing everything myself and really enjoyed it EXCEPT for writing the reviews, in fact they were lousy so I outsourced them. It was a ton of weight of my shoulders and motivated me even more.

As time went by, about 4 months and the money started rolling in, I started outsourcing everything and it was simply magic, I'm only doing the actual keyword research now and sometimes the graphics, the work has become a paid hobby and I have lots of time for other things.

Find your strong and weak points first and then contemplate using tools to ease the work flow. I would strongly suggest getting Market Samurai though and taking your time to understand that properly, last but not least it's the keywords and the reviews that make or break the profits and not the grapgics or webdesign, so the prep work is the MOST IMPORTANT part.

If you need help, no matter what...just drop a post here and you'll get the answers (no question is too stupid)

If you do everything yourself initially, a domain is all you need but I would keep the 200.00 to one side, this way your prepared for your weak points.

Go thru every video that Jan provides you with first, this way you'll have a better picture

cheers

Hey Kerron
You won't go wrong listening to Tigerwar and getting some motivation from other people in this thread.
As TW says watch all the vids first and also read through this thread, there are lots of little golden nuggets of information here and some great people giving honest opinions and information.
Please try to initially do everything yourself ... You will get a very good understanding of the process.
It really doesn't matter how long the first site takes but take notes and learn as much as you can behind the process, in other words don't just follow the steps ... understand them as well.
As TW so rightly says that way you will get to know our strengths and weaknesses and you will know exactly where you should spend your money.

My advice would be to do the course... do your keyword research using free tools..pick two or three niches and then sign up for the free trial of market samurai.

If you are the happy buy it ..if not wait awhile.
Please remember that a carpenter can build a shelf with a hand saw and some sand paper, he doesn't need all the power tools with all the bells and whistles... they will come in time. Enjoy, learn and don't be afraid to ask questions, good luck.
You are absolutely not alone,
Good Luck

Jans System with TW help is far far better than any wso.

I have seen lots of so-called big wso who claim to produce results, but this is "one of the few" which actually works!

What you need to do is

TAKE ACTION

Hi, Jan:
Good to see that things are going well here. That said, I had been trying to send an inquiry email to you for pointers in the direction that my niche choices/decisions is taking < but in reply mode to the promo emails you send out in the PhysicalAffiliates email broadcasts >. However, one gets bounced back from the @janroos.... address. I then repackaged and resent the inquiry to the @thephysicalaffiliates..... address. It appears there was no bounce-back from that one but no response either. I did not intend to pose my Q in the PA video site either because of my niche details. So, please advise the best way to get feedback on niche setup and we will go from there. Thanks very much.

Hey Z,

That is not so easy for one simple reason-- if I put up 2 or 3 writers, 1000's would have the same articles.

I would go to fiverr.com and ask for reviews for certain products and see who comes back (normally..just hours and many replies), now look at their credendials(ratings), Once you have checked those(just click on the name), tell them exactly in what format you want the reviews by pointing them to a finished website that appeals to you and see what they come up with

ask them before if and they can write 10 articles for you(motivation)
where they live and what else they can do(or if they know of someone who can do graphics and setup websites)

more often than not you'll get very possitive responses

....there are some excellent writers there and o.k...you might pay $20.00 initially to find the good ones but it's worth the hassle in the long run if you don't like writing.

The thing to remember about outsourcing is that if you yourself, don't know how to do it the best way...you can't teach others to do the job. So it's imperative, absolutely essential that you do one or two sites yourself in order to learn and then show (or simply tell ) others how it can be done better, faster and obviously as a result - cheaper.(doesn't apply to reviews, just show them a finished website)

Considering the fact that one site can be completed in about MAX 8 hours @ $10.00 an hour + 5 articles @ $5.00 and say..$20.00 for graphics, you can outsource a website for max $140.00 but that was @ $10.00 an hour...if you understand how to setup everything yourself, you can drastically reduce the time and also find people that do this for only $5.00 an hour....in fact, you can find people to work for you for $3.00 an hour at E.g ODesk.com when employing them as a team but for starters, go with fiverr.com it's a lot easier.............do the maths

Oh...and maybe I should say, if you don't actually use their offers, just press the cancel button and you'll be credited with the $5.00 again.

I found someone straight away, in fact I asked him initially for something else, it turned out that he was an excellent writer and had friends that could do the graphics.

If you don't ask, you'll never get answers!!!

I just gave someone else this tip and he's just getting his 5th site up (as a complete Newbie to the system) in 2 weeks!!!

give it a go

cheers

Well, I just had 3 more sales, had 5, so my commission was bumped up, which was nice.

Bit of advice to anyone starting out with this... if something falls under multiple catagories and also appears in the electronics category, well, it's considered electronics, so 4% commission cap... this was my first site, so wont be making that mistake again.

Now all I need to do is work on backlinks to get the other sites ranked... I have one on page 3 and 8 for 2 keywords... hopefully I can get them ranked soon.

Nice tip Dog,

and great to hear you're turning over. Once that starts it's becomes easier to imagine 20 sites doing the same

Hi guys, I need help deciding if I have the right domain name. I found a main buying key phrase I want to target.

It has 2,900 exact monthly searches. lets say its "tennisracketsforsale"

The EMD .com, .org and .net is taken... so I bought the following...

besttennisracketsforsale.com

Now I'm thinking, should I have chosen something else, as I believe it's best to put an extra word at the end, like, tennisracktesforsaleonline.com

However, besttennisracketsforsale also targets 2 extra buying keywords, "best tennis racket" 1000 exact searches, and "best tennis rackets" 480 exact monthly searches... so this is good, right?

I bought the amazon treasure chest wso, and she recommends "tennisrackets-forsale.com"

I'm not really a fan of hyphens...

Anyway... is my domain besttennisracketsforsale.com a sound choice? Competition for the 3 main buying keywords is all in the green.

One more thing, does character count in the domain matter? In Jans example, the domain name is very long, mine is around the same, 27 characters, does this matter?

Hey Dog,

When doing keyword research the more searches for the global keywords the better...that also includes variations which you can find E.g using the wonder wheel by typing the main keyword in and then compare the results and variations of those in GKWT. Doing this, you find the top searches for the variations (which are also the LSI keywords). You now do your reviews for the main keyword and include the LSI variations.

If you only try to rank for the main keywords, you'll find yourself practising "keyword Stuffing" which does more harm than good.

So if besttennisracketsforsale has 2900 searches, weak competition and and a few of the related LSI keywords have good searches, then you are onto a winner and your choice was perfect.
Even if you added pink elefants to the end of the domain name, as long as your SEO for besttennisracketsforsale and the LSI keywords is done correctly...you'll rank top for those keywords and might even sell a pink elefynt on top .

There is always too much thought put into the domain names...it is the CONTENT and the SEO that ranks...not the domain name.

E.G. what has AMAZON.com got to do with tennis, beds, videos etc... NOTHING they are ranking for the content and well optimized keywords!

The domain has a VISUAL and a Psychological effect when a viewer reads it and can add value when flipping a domain but its NOT the reason why a site ranks!!!!

The shorter the domain name and the more related it is, the higher the value, especially when your site is profitable...this is because it's easier to remember and type, otherwise it really doesn't play a roll.

Think of it like a home address...what would you remember:

MIAMI 1

or

Washington avenue 1527, MIAMI 1

cheers

In the instructions for AMR it says;

6) keep summary under 300 characters, and unique from body content
Is it necessary for the summary to be unique? When i submit to directories such as Ezine and Articlesbase, i use the first couple of sentences from the article and don't use a unique summary, but the article gets accepted.
----------------------------------

If you are submitting articles to AMR which have already been submitted to directories such as Ezine, do you need to use the same pen name that was used on Ezine? Below, it says that if the pen name already exists that posting will fail.

Ensure that your First and Last name is UNIQUE. AMR uses this as a Pen Name. If this pen name already exists on an article directory, posting will fail.

1. you should keep them unique(and a well spun summary is unique), the point is, do the work once and reap the benefits a 1000 times

2. the purpose of a pen name is
a. to hide your real identity(if you want to)
b. to con the AD into thinking you are a different person+different e-mail- hence you can create many accounts and post spun articles under different names, this way they don't ban you for stuffing the same spun aricles under one name.

if you want to become an authority in a certain niche and build a reputation for traffic purposes, then don't spin the articles under that name and stick with one name for that niche+always pos different articles to that directory where you want to become an authority.

If you just want backlinks make as many pens as you want with different emails and post the spun articles/recource boxes ad lib.

cheers

I have a site thats a few weeks old, but want to now change the domain name... as the one I first picked was pretty bad, "ikeyword.com"

I found a better domain name, "bestkeywordprices.com"

I already started an seo campaign with the origional site... it's been seo nuked.

Is it a bad idea to start again, should I just keep the domain/site I have?

If I do go with the new domain, do I delete the old site and start again? I will be using the same content, so, don't want to double up.

The site isn't ranking at the moment.

Hi Dog,
If I understand right, the old site is useless as far as the domain name is concerned but you want to keep the content, right?

Just clone the site and delete the old one, goto google and put a permanet redirect to the new site...or leave the content on the old one and try to flip it on flipper.com then create new content for the new one
the clone takes about 10 minutes

OR: as I mentioned above, keep the domain and just write the reviews or content around "best keywordprices", it will rank at the top if you do this as any other website

cheers

Hey TW, well someone suggested to me that I use it as a feeder site... but I think I should just start over. I paid good money for the articles, and the work is all done, just need to change the domain.

I can just go to godaddy and put a redirect on the the domain, "ikeyword.com"

Living and learning I guess...

@tigerwar.

You said to set the articles to go out at about 25 articles per hour. Does this mean that you need to leave your computer on a long time for the article to be submitted? Because at that rate it would take about 16 hours to submit to 400 AD's.

I was wondering, what is the reason for setting it to only submit at this rate instead of all at once? As the articles won't get indexed or approved straight away anyway.

Well if put them all out withinin the same hour every time, that would leave a pretty obvious footprint backlinking to your site, also you'ld probably have a few timeouts on submissions.

They don't have to be done in one day, choose the times yourself if you only want your PC on at certain times
AMR starts automatically with your PC and continues the schedual where it left off(which you can change anytime)

Do you recommend using the decapture tool for submitting to the AD's? As you mentioned that not many AD's use decapture anyway.

For signing up to the AD's i did the decapture manually. It took ages, about 4 hours to sign up to about 9000 AD's. Only about 3000 of the AD's are listed as Ok. Is that a normal result?

I didn't use a free email address to sign up and I filled out all the info in the author account, apart from the fax number.

-------------------------------------------

What is the minimum word count the article summary should be?

PLEASE TRY TO READ MY POSTS FIRST, i have answered these many times mate

1. already answered above

2. yes, use them and set you rate at decapture.com to 0.03ct, they give your account more priority = less timeouts...FYI..in 2 years and 1000's of submissions, I haven't used $6.00.

3. if you don't use decaptcher...you'll lose interest sooner or later.. Like I said...I set it to post automatically and get around 300-400 every 3 weeks which is good for search engines NOT 3000 (again, PLEASE digest what I say or your submissions could backfire)

4. There's no need to enter a correct address...no-one will come knockin at the door or call you

Hey ladies and gents,

I think it's time for me to jump into this amazon affiliate marketing. I've been researching quite a few different niches, and have continuously come across this "consumersearch.com" website. More times than not, it is listed in the number 1 and/or 2 spot for a given niche.

My question for any of you experienced amazon marketers out there:

Is this a site that is beatable with a reasonable amount of effort?

Have you ran across this same thing?

Thanks for any thoughts!

hi Al

.COM then .NET then .ORG but this is really only for flipping...

On the otherhand a church.org is probably better than church.net

Com has more buyers trust, Net and ORG,,,I don't think any buyer would see a difference...you never know what a viewer thinks

Tiger pretty much hit the nail on the head. I don't think there's going to be too much difference.

For instance, in an offline niche, I just jumped the ".com" version of my keyword with my ".net" site (does that make sense?).

All it took was a couple extra backlinks....but of course, who knew what other factors were involved (on-page seo, link quality, etc).

But that's just my experience.

My question for any of you experienced amazon marketers out there:

Is this a site that is beatable with a reasonable amount of effort?

Have you ran across this same thing?

Thanks for any thoughts!
Agree, they're hanging around like a bad smell

Their content is really thin, looks like a plugin, so hopefully they don't spend too much time in the top spots.

I purchased jan roos' physical affiliate a few months ago and would like to start creating websites. Can someone send me the link to where i can login because i cannot login to my account under physicalaffiliate for some reason. If someone can tell me why i can't login that would be great. Thanks!

You know what? I think I'm just going to pick a freakin' niche, and attack these guys head-on. I'll keep you guys posted on how it goes in the coming weeks.

Thanks for the responses!
