Hey Greg,

I been a user now for a while and like the service and support.

My only gripe (as you know) is entering the keywords. Lots of people are doing it wrong and the links are appearing on some of my blogs still in a spin format - because members are entering them in the keyword field separated by commas instead of | character. Some enclose them in { } or ( ) and others don't capitalize each word as you request.

Well, like I mentioned to you, I created my own tool to quickly convert a list of raw keywords straight from Adwords or other keyword tool, into an ABC ready format to copy and paste into the keyword field.

I am happy to share this tool with other ABC PLugin users - you can find it on this blog here :

Convert Keywords

Maybe you should put something like this on your 'to do' list for a later release,

Cheers

Gerry

Hey Gerry,

I was playing with that a little while ago again and I do like it. I think it is great. If anyone uses it, I hope they click a Google ad for you on the way out.

I will be changing that in the next release to automate and 'clean up' quite a bit.

I think it is a great little tool and will probably tell the list about it!

Thanks for the feedback AND the contribution!

Greg

You don´t want the ABC Articles and ABC-Links showing up on your Homepage?

Here is what I do:
1. Set your “Front Page displays A static page” under Settings\Reading
2. Install the Plugin: Widget Logic Ver. 0.47 By Alan Trewartha
3. Under Posts\Categories set up a Category “Secret ABC” or whatever.
4. Goto Settings\Automatic Backlink Creator and scroll down to Article Distribution
5. Set the WordPress Category to “Secret ABC”
6. Under Apperance\Widgets go to the ABC Widget.
7. There is a new field at the bottom of the widget “Widget logic”.
8. Paste --> In_category('Secret ABC') <-- in that field.

Now every Article that is distributed to your Blog from the ABC-Network, goes into the Secret ABC category. The ABC-Links will only be shown on these Article pages that are in the Category Secret ABC. These Articles have no Link on my Homepage to go to them, but the Google bot will find them. If you like you can show a link to that category on your Menu.

What does the ABC-Plugin for me and other users?
In one of my blogs there are already 62 ABC Articles postet (1 a Day). So that’s 62 Articles with let’s say 2-4 Links in each of them and the ABC-Link-Block with 5 to 10 Links on every Post each showing to the G-Bot.

That’s 62 Articles x 2 Links = 124 Links or 62 Articles x 4 Links max = 248 Links in the articles.

The Link-Block has 62 Articles x 5 = 310 Links min or 62 x 10 Links max = 620 Links.
Min Links overall is 124 + 310 = 434 Links
Max Links overall is 248 + 620 = 868 Links

That’s what only one blog shows to the G-Bot and that one Blog will deliver to the ABC-network and that’s what I get back also and more.

Do the Math in a few months from now and the Backlink numbers will be HUGE.
That´s almost on autopilot and for only $15 a Month it´s a steal (don´t tell Greg). You can use it on 10 – 30 of your blogs, maybe more.

Thanks Greg for that great Plugin.

http://free-money-making-tips.com/convert-keywords

Although you can convert hundreds of keywords at a time, I would only enter a dozen or so into the keyword field at a time, but using this tool will ensure they are in the correct format, and that you will rank for the right phrase.

Thanks for sharing Chris.

I have been thinking about a way to incorporate something like this in the plugin.

Have you or anyone tried the 'simply exclude plugin' form the WP repository?

I would like to add something that will just require a few clicks and the ABC articles will not display on the home page.

A lot of users have no idea how to manipulate their themes or to set the categories to show or not to show in certain areas, so this will be easier.

I appreciate you showing this to everyone and still showing the benefit of getting the articles and using the article feature.

You are right about another thing. This will only get better as the network grows!

I have tried many times to explain that you can simply create a new wordpress installation on a subdomain or a new directory. Install the plugin there and then set up the article category there as well.

I f you have cPanel, I can set up a subdoamin, install wordpress, install the plugin and configure it in under 3 minutes.

Hostgator has great video tutorials for free on their site.

Thanks for sharing!

A++ for the effort!

Hello,

Just wanted to share my experience having used the plugin for the last month or so. First off, the support Greg offers is second to none. He responds very quickly and is very open to suggestions and ideas. He is always willing to help as well.

Now for the really exciting news. Over the last month, the only thing I have done for adding links and content to my site is using this ABC plugin. Since doing so my site has moved from position 14, 12, to 10, to 9 and this week to 6 for my main keyword (337,000 competing pages)! I am thrilled at the results. And it is only going to get better. Think about it. You are getting fresh content DAILY that you don't have to write so Google bots love your site. And the fact you can submit spun articles and 500 (I think) separate links to be rotated in the widget is gold. While I had my doubts in the beginning and thought about canceling, Greg was right. You have to have patience. It will work.

Oh and for those who say having outbound do follow links is bad for your site. BS! I am sick of all the "gurus" and crap that plagues this and other forums. If it were true, my site would not be ranking 6 for my main keyword and 5 and 6 for a couple others.

To all the newbies out there: do not give up, stop wasting money on the things that promise you to get rich in a month. It ain't going to happen for most. Hard work, SEO, perseverance and investing carefully in software and plugins like this will lead to your long term success. 9 months into the game and I am finally starting to earn some consistent cash. How sweet it is!

Will second/third/fourth that on the support side. I think 30minutes is the longest I have had to wait for a response

...although remember at some point the poor chap has to sleep so doubt it will be like that 24/7!!

I hope that the product is as good as I suspect it is!

Happy customer.

inneraction, I couldn't have said it better. So much BS mis-information out there has everyone paranoid. It's really kinda sad.

I have tons of outbound links on my sidebar - to authority sites and gov/edu sites, Google loves that s@#t

A couple of my niche sites are steadily climbing and very close to Page 1 thanks to ABC. I can wait! Rather have it happen like this than too fast and have to go through the Google dance.

Hi Greg,

When I say "most", I meant all the articles posted so far on my blogs from the ABC network are irrelevant. I had to go in to delete those posts and there is no way to turn off the "article posting" feature.

I am certainly not referring to all your articles in the database. I hope you don't over-react.

The problem lies with the "category" that we can choose from. For instance, a "computer and technology" category is a broad category.

It can cover a wide range of niches, such as registry cleaner, spyware, speakers, computers, software, etc. This explains why an article on "speakers" may actually be posted to a blog on "spyware removal".

From an SEO point of view, the "speakers" article is irrelevant to a blog talking about spyware.

I am raising this to highlight 2 points which I hope the upgrade can provide.

1. Keyword tagging and laser-targeted content to be posted onto our blogs from the database

2. Ability to switch off the "article posting" feature as and when we wish. I realized that once I selected the category and saved, there is no way to turn it off.

For now, I will not set up the "article" feature of the plugin for the rest of my blogs until the problem of mismatched articles is resolved.

At the same time, I also hope to be able to switch off the "article posting" feature as I really want to stop irrelevant articles from being posted onto the 10+ blogs that I just installed the plugin on. Thanks!

Originally Posted by Greg D View Post

Please do not speak in generalities and say that 'most' are irrelevant. That simply is not true and can be a little misleading.

Have you seen 'most' of the 3,000 articles in the network? Read every spun version? Seen which category 'most' are in?

If a few that are off base are coming to your site, then I understand and am aware. I appreciate the suggestion. It has been made before.

I am making changes to the articles and the network. It will be VERY different than Day 1. The next release will help, then give it a few more weeks and BLAMO, entirely new. All those who are not using it properly will be weeded out and all of their stuff will be eliminated. Even though it is only a very few, it good nite Irene for them.

Again I will state, this is why I set up the plugin so that you had to create a new 'category' for the ABC articles.

Place the category WHEREVER you want!

Please do NOT place the ABC articles on your home page. Find a plugin that will help to hide them or manipulate your theme, or use custom wp menus and place them somewhere else on your site. The search engines will still find them.

I hope that helps. This was for you and for everyone who reads this thread as well to help.

Sweet! I thank you for the feedback!

Great results and yes, it is getting better, way better! Just think when the other features are in place and it is 4 to 5 things that are automatically getting you backlinks, and the network has a LOT more sites in it.

Again, thanks for taking the time!

Hi Davion

> For now, I will not set up the "article" feature of the plugin

That would be a big mistake.
Goto my Post #958 and let the articles post to a category that the usual Reader of your blog can´t find.

You can do that with your ABC-Links also if you like.

That way only the Google-bot can find these Articles and will discover the BLUE-Links that we all need.
If somebody gets to the page through the search engine or through the ABC-links, you can even monetize these article sites with an auto adsense block and that way may even earn money with the help of these articles (Take the "AdSense Now!" plugin for the adsense stuff).

So leave the Articles and Links on your page, just hide them to your User and let the ABC-Plugin do its magic.

You can turn off the article feature whenever you want now. That was the only darn thing I forgot in the first version, was a button.

Deactivate it and reactivate it. Article posting is stopped.
If you still want to submit articles yourself , you will need to figure out where to put your articles.

I am going to quote Chris, another user, with some instructions to help you and everyone out.

I am not over-reacting. Not at all. I appreciate feedback. Read through the 9 hundred something comments with my responses, and check out the other forum, no problem with feedback for me. I hope you didn't think I got offended.

There WILL be more control for the users, actually the whole UI is being ramped up to accommodate, ease of use, explanation, fix bugs, enhance features and then to add new features as well! All of this feedback will be and is being incorporated, well a good constructive and network beneficial part is.

The question of irrelevant is still subject to interpretation. According to who is an article about speakers, I assume computer speakers so irrelevant to that of a registry cleaner, again pertaining to speakers. Even if they are regular stereo speakers, electronics and the registry cleaner.

Do you really believe that Google is taking a hard look at your site and saying to itself......

"hmmm, these two things are not related enough to each other. We know we want people to just write fresh content to their own sites, and not build backlinks. We know they would just come about naturally and on their own. But this, this atrocity, the inhumanity that a blogger might write about steroe speakers and a computer registry cleaner on the same blog is just shameful. The pucishment for inflicting such shame on the net is you now get de-indexed and placed into the big G sandbox for a timeout!"

Really? If you believe it, you need to go with you are comfortable with. I feel that is one too many 'gurus' looking for a nice headline for the latest 'ebook of the month'.

I would LOVE someone to provide me with undeniable PROOF that this can and does and has happens. I would be thrilled and drinks would be on me!

NOW, the whole not posting articles on my main home page, my money page, H#*L YEAH I agree with that. No worries. Use the plugin the way I created it, create the ABC category and stick it NOT on the home page.

Here is the quote from the other user of how to get around the article posting thing on your main site.

"You don´t want the ABC Articles and ABC-Links showing up on your Homepage?

8. Paste --> In_category('Secret ABC') <-- in that field.

Christoph"

Thanks for the bantering, it is fun. Back to work now.

Hi Greg,

If your blog is built around the niche of "registry cleaners", you definitely will not want a "computer speaker" article sticking around on your site. Especially if you are trying to dominate keywords related to registry cleaners.

I know this from my own experience because of a huge network of niche blogs I own for a couple of years.

If you are building a blog around a broad niche like "computers", then it really doesn't matter what articles you post to it, be it on "computer speaker" or "registry cleaner" since they belong to the same category.

In any case, it is a good and valid idea to just compartmentalize the ABC articles into one specific category hidden away from the homepage for the purpose of securing backlinks. Pretty much similar to setting up a "Partners" page for managing outgoing links.

It would be cool to have the "disable" button for the article posting.

In any case, I know you heard our feedback and will surely make it even more intelligent and user-friendly in time.

Greg, what type of site are does the plugin need to be installed on? Could I install it on multiple wordpress sites and have the links pointing to different money sites? Then just submit articles from one of them.

IE. If I made ... category-name-here.info and installed the plugin, but had the keywords and target URL pointing at a money site.

AGREED - use the articles - use all the features - let it rip. Don't be overly analytical. I ACCEPT articles into my site which are not exact matches and I get bizarre long tail search visitors. It's all good. More content=more love from google and more shows in SERPS. I structure my site so the content can be found by bots and I am still in ctrl of where and how the articles are displayed so my niche's kywrd density etc isn't diluted or compromised. No "penalty".

I do agree with Davion that we need a bit more control and precision on content accepted b/c occasionally I have to delete stuff but I am sure Greg has that in the pipeline.

It must be on a self hosted wordpress site.

You are allowed unlimited installations on sites you own.

Yes. Yes. Both are possible.

It is in the pipeline. I agree with you as well. Place the articles, in their own category, in another area of the site. Monetize that area with some adsense or a few static banners. Place some text links to your other pages. You may actually start ranking for some of those pages, but either way it will NOT hurt you.

Might as well start talking about this now. With the new version of the plugin with the new features, enforcement will now come into play on both sides.

If you are placing articles or links in the incorrect categories, please correct them. You will not be notified, they will be deleted.

If the keywords are not formatted properly, they will be deleted.

Articles:

Same rules apply, if you do not have the article placed or formatted properly, it will be deleted.

NOW BTW - either the links or the articles MAY be placed into an inactive status, which will allow the user to correct the mistake. MAY is optional.

Now the flip side.

Since the new feature will have the list of URLs where your articles are being placed, this will raise an issue as well.

If any user is deleting articles without going through the proper steps as outlined in the TOS, they are in violation of the TOS and can have their accounts suspended or closed.

The proper channels are to notify admin of the issue with the following information:
URL where it is posted
article ID# because it will no longer be posted on the site, but in the admin area
ABC category you chose and this showed up in

This way it can be corrected on the DB side immediately! It will be edited or deleted.

This is not happening now and users are assuming they can delete at will, with no notification to admin or approval from admin. Then guess what happens?

The article continues to be published, upsetting other users....etc....etc....etc

I have more automation coming and FT help to police the DB and submissions, and very soon every submission will need approval before going into the network for distribution. This way final and total control is on the admin.

SO, there is a process and we all can work this to an amazing level of quality. There must be guidelines, and they must be enforced.

The only way this will be an issue for anyone is 1) they are spamming the network 2) they do not know how to place the article category in an inconspicuous spot on their site and are going to panic that they are going to see these articles on their home page.

I am going to be working on this as well, to see if I can add a feature to hide them from the home page.

I hope everyone sees the benefit to this progression. A cleaner higher quality network is better for everyone in the long run.

Sorry for the run-off at the mouth, sometimes when I get started....

Greg,

I forgot...
1) Is there a limit on how many links we can put into an article?
2) I know we can spin the anchor text but what about the underlying URL, can that be spun too?

Thanks

1) Yes, 4.

2) Yes, but probably not how you are thinking (not sure).

Here is what you can do: This is an EXAMPLE:

{Here is a great example of a {backlink creating software|plugin that creates backlinks} that will work on autopilot once it is set up. | This is an amazing {backlink creating wordpress plugin| backlink software} that will {create backlinks | generate backlinks} for you automatically. | If you need a plugin that will {create backlinks | generate backlinks} for you automatically then this is it.}

In this example, only one sentence will be chosen to be unspun and there will only be one or two links displayed at any given time. Obviously you will not be doing this for every sentence in your article.

What this does is to rotate your anchor text as well! Better rotation and exposure!

Now we're rocking!

If you sprinkle sentences like this throughout you will be fine.

Write 5 paragraphs, then put sentences like this in the last 4. You will be all set. No worries.

I hope this helps.

For those who are considering purchasing this service- I must say that even though it wasn't for me, the customer services was above my expectations. Greg quickly responded to my request.

I canceled due to the industry I am in, not because of ABC's lack of performance. Give it a try, you really do have nothing to lose.

perfect, four hyperlinks per article is plenty. With that I have no need to spin the URL. (and spinning the anchor text suffices when I have a situation to use that)

With four I can shoot one URL at my $$$Site, one at Squidoo, one at Ezinearticles and another at my TLD.

That way I'll be all over the first page like white on rice.

That movie is hysterical! I hope you stayed for the 'end' with all the pictures.

They already have the Hangover 2 in the works. Ever hopeful it will be as funny.

That is a great plan and one that I would recommend!

The photos at the end are too funny. Think I'll go watch it now as ABC takes care of my back linking.

Hi Greg,
I just am just getting going with your product and am very happy that all things are working well and more cool updates are soon to be implemented.

I know this may not work for everyone but if I change in the "user" settings the "guest blogger" from author to contributor will that then put all the articles into the draft since a contributor does not have authority to publish? Then I can go in as the admin publish, and mark the article as "private" so it does not show up in my "recent posts." I know there are some great ideas here for a work-a-round but just wondering if for only a few days I can do this or will the plug in override the settings.

Then once the new update comes out I can easily set them back to "public." I only have a few sites I am working your product on for now, so it would be easy for me to more or less hide them for a while and still have the bots finding the articles.

Just asking.

Greg, just setup the plugin. I have a few more questions

1. Does each installation need a widget enabled on that particular site to activate the link network?

2. Is there any advantage to running multiple installations? Let's say I have 10 money sites each with 20-30 pages... That's about 250 pages total. Should I put them all into a single installation or spread them out in between different blogs?

3. If I have left over links to add, could I install the plugin on another blog and put in the same links as I did on the first to fill the rest of the links and get more exposure?

I got the question and concern. Right now, no. I am going to quote another user who has a work-around that will work for now until i have it resolved.

Here is the quote from Christoph:
"You don´t want the ABC Articles and ABC-Links showing up on your Homepage?

Here is what I do:
1. Set your “Front Page displays A static page” under SettingsReading
2. Install the Plugin: Widget Logic Ver. 0.47 By Alan Trewartha
3. Under PostsCategories set up a Category “Secret ABC” or whatever.
4. Goto SettingsAutomatic Backlink Creator and scroll down to Article Distribution
5. Set the WordPress Category to “Secret ABC”
6. Under ApperanceWidgets go to the ABC Widget.
7. There is a new field at the bottom of the widget “Widget logic”.
8. Paste --> In_category('Secret ABC') <-- in that field.

That will work for now.

Hello,

Thanks for the set up. Sorry for the delayed response. Had to eat. Maybe a nap, but I'll never admit it.

1) No. It is recommended though.

2) Yes. The plugin will index and ping your posts and pages. I will be introducing a reward program in the next few weeks. You will get more links in your account for each new site with a widget and more links with each new site with an article category.

3) Sure. I think there is an element missing in your queries. The plugin dashboard (or admin panel) is a 'snapshot' of your account on the database. From ANY plugin dashboard you can submit, edit or delete your links or articles. I did this as a convenience to the user who has multiple sites or just one. VERY user friendly!

I hope that helps.

Hi Greg,
Tried the simply-exclude plugin that you talk about and it works great with leaving your main page as is and putting the other articles in a different category.

Thanks
Tommy

You are welcome. WE should really thank Christoph!

He is another user who found it and brought it to the community attention.

I am going to look at taking it to another level and incorporate something like that into the plugin.

Then it will be just a few clicks for you from inside the plugin dashboard, not a whole new set up.

I am THRILLED it works!

Cheers Chris! Thanks for the feedback Tommy!

btw, even though I keep only one post on my front page I still go through every effort to make sure ALL my pages are indexed...this is to my benefit as well as to the benefit of the ABC authors from which I receive content (their articles). Overused phrase but "it's all good".

That is very decent of you. And actually what you should be doing.

When V2 is out and the list of URLs is available where the articles is posted, there will be some issues with some users.

The issue will be with those who do not 'exclude' the ABC category from their home page and leave the articles that get published on their site. If a user takes it upon themselves to delete articles without following the protocol are going to find themselves with links and articles made inactive, or their account terminated.

If there is a legitimate concern and the proper channels are used and permission granted to delete, those are fine.

I am looking into an option for the next release to add an 'exclude category' button just for that reason.

I am glad that is what you do and I will go over a lot of solutions in the new videos.

We are just finishing the last little code changes, then to rigorous testing and then to new videos, then the release.

New videos are a must, because this is sooo different!

Yes.

You can install this on as many self hosted WordPress sites that you own.

Oke,

So I've istalled this plugin on all 9 of my websites. And am only using the ABC widget at the moment.

It's been almost a week now and so far very disapointed with the results.

I still cant see any backlinks pointing to my websites? Maybe I'm doing something wrong or I'm expecting to see backlinks to soon?

How long does it take to start getting backlinks?

Thanks,

Thanks,
I appreciate the purchase.

There is a good chance that it is not being used properly.

'Almost a week' is how many days?

Questions to ask?

1) How many links have you submitted out of your 550 links given?
2) Are you using the 4-6 keywords per URL that is recommended?
3) Are you using long tail keywords?
4) Are they 'purchase' keywords?
5) How many articles have you submitted?
6) Are the links pointing back to any inner pages?
7) Are the URLs you are pointing links to optimized?
8) Do those pages have unique content on them with your target KW?
9) Is the KW density between 2-4%
10) I have always recommended other sources of backlinking to compliment the ABC.

I have fixes for all the features of the ABC and some new features to boot coming here real soon.

I am sorry you are disappointed so far after a few days.

I hope you did not think this was a program that gets you 21,000 backlinks in 24 hours type of thing. It is not.

I only wanted to build a more substantial network and plugin on the most profound platform that will build quality backlinks that appear to be gotten naturally and will get great results for all users.

I am redoing the videos as well for the new release (I have to because it is so different) and I am going to be going over the features in detail, but also giving the best solutions and plans on how to use it as well.

I must say that almost every user who has canceled has had little to NO articles submitted and only a handful of KW links with very generic and NON long tail KWs.

Basically, they were swimming upstream. No wonder they gave up! I would too.

If done correctly, this is one of the easiest ways to have something working 24/7 building backlinks for you.

I hope you can take a look at some of the articles I have written on the blog, and the other videos, and can wait for the release of V2.

Things will be different. I promise.

From a user:

It has been exactly 1 month since i bought the plugin. For $15 dollars i saw it worthwhile and inexpensive to at least test out.

Case #1:
I installed this on a niche blog that i've had for some time. Adding links and articles is very easy. I started adding links for niche sites that i've had on page 2 and noticed that within two weeks they went to the bottom of page 1. Within the month several of those niche sites are ranking between 2 and 5 for their keyword. Keep in mind that i had not done any backlinking to these sites in well over 5 months.

Also, in yahoo site explorer I started getting backlinks that I know I had never posted and once I followed the link I saw that the links were from blogs that also use this plugin, so that confirmed to me that these links DO infact get picked up by Google.

Case #2:
The second review I want to share is to those of you doing article marketing. I myself don't focus on article marking but on occasion do write articles to target traffic and to get an additional backlink to my sites. It's kind of like killing 2 birds with one stone.

I had a few articles targeting some keywords for products. Provided that you did your keyword research and analyzed competition, I noticed that my Ezine articles increased dramatically in the search engines when i added them to the plugin. One of my Ezine articles out-ranked an exact match domain that was targeting the same keyword.

I had Ezine articles that I had not touched in months that went from page 2 or 3 to page 1 in matter of a month. So my conclusion with this plugin is that Ezine articles reacts very well to the backlinks generated by this plugin. If you do article marketing with Ezine, this plugin will be a great tool to have.

Like Greg has said in previous posts, this should not be your only method to generate backlinks but merely another tool added to your toolbox. At this price, this is a no brainer. This will certainly NOT be the only way that I will generate backlinks but it will definitely be one of the easiest.

One last thing to note, I did not use the article distribution feature for this test, I simply added the link into the plugin and forgot about it. This coming month I will do a test on the article distribution feature.

Just bought this plugin, looks great, setting up is really easy.
I have few question :
1. How many keywords could i use per url?
2. Can the backlinks pointing to any web 2.0 like squidoo or hubpage? How to do it?
3. What about if I'm not spinning the article when submitted it? Is it ok?

Thanks for the response, love this plugin already,

Shin

I haven't purchased your product yet, but the one thing I notice a lot in product releases is the lack of documentation on how to "best use" the product.

A simple pdf like that would go a long way in preventing people from asking for refunds.

I'll wait a little longer for v2 and I hope the release is coming soon.
