Um, not sure what you mean by that. Did you save the list of tested proxies? Then click the Settings tab and click Load? Then pick the saved list from where you stored it? (Proxyist.txt)

How long did it take you from the time you started this campaign tl you noticed these results?

I just started a run last night for a couple of keywords using "Get Popular" and I was curious about your results.

@talitha, Are you using the newest version or the 11-30 update version?

If the newest version, there's some issues going on with that, which I could strangle my coder for.. lol for allowing me to send out the update, and then saying "Oh wait".

If you're using the older version (update 11-30), you'll see the green bar progressing, plus it running throgh your domain/keywords/search engines in the bottom text.

@michaelmac, If all of your keywords are indexed in the top 15 pages.. hit those bad boys with Sniper mode. =)

But running Get Popular occasionally is always good.

If your keywords aren't indexed in the top 15 pages of Google say... run Get Popular on them for about 2-4 hours per day.

Click on one of your domains, does it have keywords listed in the keywords box? Try a few different domains, click on them and see if there are keywords in the keywords box.

Also, make sure you have at least 1 search engine selected.

I know that goes without saying, but I've made that mistake before lol.

Works fine on with Chrome - I've tried them all over the last 20+ years and in mffho it's the best but you'll need Firefox for SEO toolbars (SEOquake is a good one.)

Well I never recieved a second email and the first version simply doesnt work. I have been running it for 5 days straight and changing the setting and proxies several times daily. I even purchased good proxies two days ago. Nothing has changed........

Does anybody else have feedback on this product to share? Results so far?

You're wrong Casey. It took 30 ... min! I've got one ultra competitive keyword which was not even in first 20 pages (at least I have the patience to check till page 20+) when I checked it a month ago which is now on page 5 in Google.com and page 1 #5 on local Google.com.sg after running the s/w for 30 min.

Now the paradox. Isn't that too fast not to be dangerous? LOL But I like it ;)

Hi Casey, I live in the UK and have just recently started a small web design business. I am keen to try the SE Sniper software as am having to work very long hours at the moment just to get small sites promoted in SERPs and from what I've read SE Sniper should give me a real head start!

However your site doesn't seem to allow me to pay when selecting my country as UK.

Is this software available to people in the UK?

Some SEO advice for all.... (based on my own experiences!)

I'm running two different page rank checkers, and using a virtually brand new domain that is highly optimised.

I noticed that I had reasonable rankings in Yahoo and Bing, but stuff all in Google. A little strange!

Upon digging deeper, I found the reason. For some reason, Google was treating my domain as http://somedomain.com - but all my links and sniper activities were being done on http://www.somedomain.com.

And yep, http://somedomain.com and http://www.somedomain.com are treated as two separate urls by the search engines - effectively splitting link and sniper juice.

Solutions:

1. First, choose ONE (and only one) domain url and use that exact url in backlinks and sniper (I chose http://www.somedomain.com, as I'd used this in all my backlinks)

2. Go to Google webmaster tools, and choose http://www.somedomain.com as the preferred domain style (there are no settings in Bing and Yahoo, as they use http://www.somedomain.com apparently anyway)

3. If you are feeling adventurous, do a 301 redirect in htaccess (Google it if you don't know) to permanently redirect http://somedomain.com to http://www.somedomain.com

4. ONLY use your chosen domain style (e.g. http://www.somedomain.com) with sniper

5. If you haven't already done so, submit your site maps to Google, Bing and Yahoo (Google how to do it)

Follow these simple steps and you'll focus all the link juice to your domain.

#1 - Less 4 keystroke to enter w w w dot (human laziness)
#2 - We normally will say Google dot com and seldom triple "w" dot Google dot com these days.

I previously had it set to no preferred style - which is exactly why all my link juice was being divided between http://www.somedomain.com and http://somedomain.com.

i.e. this is what caused the problem!

You need to choose one primary style, and stick with it to avoid your link juice being split between your www and non-www domain in the eyes of the search engines.

Remember that we are only talking SEO here - which has no relevance to what a real human will type into a browser to arrive at your domain.

i.e. Human types "dog breeder in Chicago" into Google, your website appears in position one and the human then clicks on that link to visit your website.

At no point does our human searcher need to type your domain directly into a browser - so it doesn't matter whether you use the www. version or not.

I will however, mention that if you are using backlinks, some websites will automatically format them to include the www. bit - so if you are simply using http://somedomain.com then you will lose some link juice.

Which is exactly why I'm using http://www.somedomain.com - as it should work in every situation.

For those of you still struggling with obtaining fresh proxies try this program.

Forum Proxy Leecher Home - Overview (buy proxy,buy proxy list,buy proxies,find proxy,get around proxy,get proxy,proxy address,proxy find,proxy finder,checker proxy,check proxy,check http,proxy check,test proxy)

I just tried it and it did a decent job of returning fresh proxies.

Read the instructions first.

The trial version should continue to work after it has expired but limits you to choosing only two forums.

Someday I might pay for the full version.

Good news I attribute to the sniper - #1 rating in google on a domain term site. 2 million result in google, medium competition on 1st page. Site is two months old with mininum seo (pinging, rss syndication and profile links, most of which haven't indexed yet) last week site was on page 3.

That's the best I'm seeing out of 12 sites so far but it gives me hope. About half of the 12 were already on page 1 for a few competitive terms so I'm not truly expecting them to move quickly.

Did you delete the folder?
You must run it as Administrator.
Easy to set in windows 7.

I'd assume that as long as you enter one proxy per line in the box
then it matters not where they come from.

As long as you run the .exe as Administrator the campaign will save.

The bottom line should read working and above it a green progress bar with a shadow running through it.

"Starting..." issue -

Solution: The "Starting" issue is because the app doesn't have any domain/keywords/ or search engines to work with.

If you have selected at least one search engine, and you have added a domain, then it's because it didn't save your keywords for the domain.

First click on the domain (highlight it), and then add keywords in. Always make sure the domain is highlighted before adding in your keywords. If this still doesn't help, then you have to run the app as administrator.

I have another question Casey...say i have 10 domains on my SE Sniper and half need the 'Get Popular' function as they are new or fall outside G's first 15 pages, and the other half are established domains that fall within the first 15 pages of G and need some 'Sniper' action?

Can i highlight say the 5 that need 'Get Popular' and then run those? Thereafter, can i then highlight the other half and then 'Sniper' them? Have you considered 2 tables; one holding new/weaker domains and another with stronger more established domains therefore allowing this type of useage?

Also, i tried running 2 simultaneous SE Sniper application and noticed that i lost the kw's on my first app that i set up last night...not sure what happened. Was considering using the 2 on my desktop to mirror the above scenario.

Yes you can run two instances of se sniper on one machine. You can actually run more, as many as your computer can handle.

When you open SE Sniper, just wait a minute, and open another one. =)

@Michael, I'd put them into two different campaigns. 1 campaign call it "Get Popular' or something, and the other call it "Sniper Mode". Then run the get popular campaign with Get Popular mode, etc..

You can also run two instances of se sniper, so you can run 1 campaign on 1 instance, and the other campaign on the other instance.

Got another question.. google also ranks your site based on how long visitors stay on your page. How long does this software linger on your website?
