Okay, I might have a bit of a problem here. It's been almost 1 hour and the bar simply isn't moving anywhere. It's been on the first bar for 1 hour. Any ideas?

At that time, I will not run it everyday as what I do currently. However, I think I will continue run SES for the same campaign at least once per month to sustain the ranking.

Same thing here. I've done everything to make this work, even reduced the random visit times to 0 to 1 minutes. I've yet to see a single green square in the progress bar since upgrading to 1.3.

I uninstalled the previous version, then installed 1.3 When I opensd the software, I can't get to my previous campains, it doesn't show up anywhere.

Did you manually remove the SEsniper folder under the C:\Program Files ?

If you did, then all your previous campaigns are gone!

If you uninstall the program using Control Panel, Windows will not remove the folder so all your previous campaigns should still be intact.

Hi vetteran,
Tried both clicking and copy/paste to browser- IE and Firefox. Didn't work. I also notice a few others are having the same difficulty. I got it to work, after trying a few things. I think I narrowed it down to the server timing out to some individual requests. Maybee there are banwith limits. After hiting refresh about 10 times it finally offered the download document. My suggestion to those having the issue is to just refresh lots of times.

Installed the new version and was up and running in a minute.

Proxies were never a part of the package, and was something that was kind of thrown in after the fact...Your not paying nor have you paid for proxies when you bought the software from what I can understand.

Are you buying software or proxies?

Truth be told, I told him privately that he was an idiot for getting involved with the proxies. I've never seen the inside of his email or PM box, but let me take a stab at it:

"some of these proxies don't work, your product sucks"

"can you test the proxies for me? If not, you're an a$$hole"

"The proxy list you send is too big, can you make it smaller and only send me good ones? If you don't, I will file for a refund"

"the proxies take too long to test, if you don't do it for me I will report you to paypal, the ftc, and other 3 letter organizations"

"Some of the proxies that were good earlier are dead now, you suck!"

"Can you send me a list with only level 1 proxies, if not I will ask for a refund"

"the proxies are slow...you're a scammer"

I'm sure he probably has 500 different variations of the above that he can add.

Proxies are proxies - You have to test them...sometimes they are good forever, sometimes they die in less than a minute...sometimes a level 1 can go to a level 3...sometimes they are slow...deal with it.

Again Casey, you're an idiot.

How is the proxy list crap ?

Surely if the proxies are level 1 and 2 they are anonymous so I do not see them as being crap. Plus I did a test with the same proxies the next day and the majority of them are still live.

Plus they are free. Personally I think saying they are crap is being a bit rather ungrateful considering they are anonymous and they are free.

You can always pay for them but no doubt even paid ones are just free ones collected from all over the net anyway.

I don't know a great deal about proxies but I for one am very grateful because I don't have to go looking for them everyday.

Maybe you are having the same trouble I had and they were all showing up as level 3 transparent. This took me a couple of days to work out but the reason for that is because In windows XP,Vista and windows 7 the TCIP settings clash with the ESP proxy software and you have to download a patch. The patch allows you to change the settings and it works. At the start I was getting 10 or 20 level 1 and 2 and the rest were level 3 proxies but that is because the software was not working correctly with my xp.

this is what you have to do is go here and get the patch

then you need to go here http://www.7-zip.org/ and download this in order to open the file.

Once open you need to set both the new values to 100 then apply and reboot and you are done.

If you are running XP you only need to do this once.

If you are running Vista or Windows 7 you need to do this everytime before testing the Proxies with esp.

Hope this helps anyone who was having the same issue as me.

If you have a super fast connection you could always have 20 threads with 20 domains all with one keyword would be the same as having them run on 20 computers. Maybe slightly slower but you can adjust that with the min and max settings.

I think I am correct but if I am wrong then someone please feel free to correct me.

Anybody in here care to help me please as I am a little confused about something.

In the Se sniper it says the more domains and keywords the less the min and max and it gives an example.

so if you have 51 keywords, 11 domains, 4 search engines and 10 threads then I would have thought it would be something like min 4 and max 10 going by the example in the pdf.

When I put it in the XL spread sheet it reccomends min 17 and max 19 which baffles me.

Could someone please tell me how to work out the formula for the min and max settings ?

Pare your stuff down! Spreading yourself too thin!
Concentrate on best domain/s and kw.
Multiple threads will soak up bandwidth something chronic so beware
if you have a capped service.

OK Nev, you're not going to like what I'm about to show you.

Provided that the figures you quoted are correct, and you were to stay with the 4 Min. and 10 Max. This is how the math would work out.

Ready:

11 X 51 X 4 = 2,244 individual searches.

2,244 X 7 minute average search initiation = 15,708 minutes or 262 hours roughly. Divide this by 10 threads and you get 1 complete loop every 26 hours roughly. The bandwidth alone will be close to 8.4 Gigs. per loop.

I'll let you think on this a bit.... I'd like to have you scale everything back to manageable searches. 1/3 the domains 1/4 the keywords same number of search engines same 10 threads. Min and Max at 12 & 30 will give you a complete loop in 7 1/2 hours with visits to your site resembling a more natural search pattern. Not ideal, but, with your lofty goals it is doable.

I understand what you are saying but I have already reduced it from 131 keywords lol. I find if you rank for more keywords then you have a better chance of keeping it up there. As for bandwidth I am running of a spare laptop on a wireless connection and I have unlimited 20mb cable broadband. If I was using it on my pc then yeah it would seriously slow it down.

Plus I can upgrade to 50 meg if need be.
