This VPS move has been the biggest headache ever. I hate disappointing people, it's my nature to want to please. So hearing that you guys are getting it working is a big relief.

Except thats not the case Casey, and to be honest I find that comment really irritating. As you know my situation is identical to @mysubmission above, but i've been emailing rather than spoiling the love in on this thread

I bought this on 19 dec, tried it for the first time this morning (ie approx 15 hours ago)....have tried installing, uninstalling, 3 diff versions, on 3 diff computers...and in each case the registration number won't work...

Have emailed Casey 3 times and had 'replies' without any real attempt to solve the issue (i've twice asked for a new reg number)...I hope when I wake up in the morning having wasted almost all day today on this, that I can get it to work...

I've paid a lot of money for a product that I want to use...I don't think its unreasonable expecting to do so.

I wonder if anyone knows the answer to this one please

I have been running SE Sniper on get popular mode now for 3 days and I was on page 11 in google for a keyword with 5 milliion results and stayed there for days but now I have dropped to page 13 does anyone have any idea what is happening please ?

Also I reduced my 131 keywords and 11 domains down to 5 domains and 16 keywords wih 10 threads 4 search engines and the spreadsheet suggested min 44 max 46 which I think is much better.

Re-installed it 5 times since I got it, tried 2 different keys, no luck. Casey is working it out for me over email but I'm starting to think something's wrong with my computer.

No firewall alerts, no runtime errors, just doesn't authenticate. I run 64-bit Windows 7. Tried re-installing after deleting it with Revo, no luck. Any suggestions?

yes correct I bought on dec 19, not sure if the reg number has been swapped to you new server...AND it isn't computer specific........as I emailed you I've tried on 3 diff computers...one with XP, one with windows 7, one with vista...all 3 versions you sent me...the reg no is not accepted on any...i've run as admin, removed all anti virus / firewall off ecah computer. Could I have anothetr reg no please and block the one you've issued? Like i've already asked for twice?

First I want to thank you for the spread sheets they are a great help.

I am a little confused about one thing though. On the monthly searches I thought it meant how many searches you want per month.

You say about using the google keyword tool and put the figures in for the global monthly searches for that keyword.

Now my question is if you have like me 16 keywords then do you add all the global monthly searches together and put that figure in the Monthly Searches cell ?

If I was to do that it would amount to millions of searches.

Apologies if I am being a complete idiot but I would have thought to equal the global monthly searches that The Google Keyword Search Tool states with all the keywords combined then you would stick out like a sore thumb and use a ton of bandwidth to equal those results.

Would really appreciate it if you could just clarify that point.

No it is for the local/global exact searches per month.

No, lol, definitely don't add them all together.

If you have 16 keywords, and they all get the same amount of searches per month, then you would put 16 in the keywords column.

If they get different searches per month, then do a different row for each one.

Already clarified the adding of searches, but let me add one more thing. Underneath the right side is a minimum/maximum percentage. What that does is decide how much of the total search volume you will emulate with Sniper.

So say I put 2000 for monthly searches - I'm not actually gonna get 2000 clicks or searches. If you look down at those settings, it's usually set at 5-10%. That means Sniper is going to be set to give me 100 to 200 clicks or searches per month (5-10% of 2000).

It's best to start low and then increase those numbers gradually, which would simulate growing interest in your website. If you put it at 100% it'd be like your website went "viral" and it could help or hurt your website - no one really knows.

I start it at 5-15% and move it up every few days/weekly, but try it out and see what works for you.

If you have any other questions or if I sucked at answering those questions you had, let me know!

I need to check with you something because I cannot seem to understand it...

Here is my case....

I have a keyword (# of EXACT search volume is 2000), and it's now on 3rd page of Google's search results.

So, I want to use "Sniper mode" to move it up the SERP and here are the numbers I enter in the spreadsheet....

# of searches per month: 2000
Min Stay (min): 10
Max Stay (min): 20
# of Keywords: 1
# of Search Engines: 1
# of Threads: 5

NOTE: I ONLY want to target ONE domain, ONE keyword and ONE search engine at a time.

After I entered those numbers in the spreadsheet, I get....

Recommended Min Time (min): 1424
Recommended Max Time (min): 1426

Now, 1424 min = 23.7 hour.

That means I am asking the program to SEARCH/CLICK the keyword every 1424 - 1426 minutes???

Isn't that way too LONG??

Can you help me to understand please??

For All Snipers That Are Having Install Problems With The Latest Version

OK bit of a change in the instructions. My install tracker keyed itself off of the original install that I had. The Alpha Co folder is no longer the one we're interested in. We just need the SE Sniper Folder.

I'm running a little experiment, and require your assistance.

Can you do me a favor and try this:

In addition to setting permissions by right clicking the shortcut icon.

Navigate to the Program files folder and scroll down to SE Sniper.
Right Click on the SE Sniper folder.
Select Properties.

Under the General tab check to see that THERE IS NOT A CHECK in either Attributes boxes.

Next:

Click on the Security tab.
The top dialog box will have the users and groups listed.
Starting at the top.... click on the first one, then look at the Bottom dialog box. Here you will see what users or the system permissions are set.

For me I see:

Creator owner......No Permissions Allowed
System..... All permissions allowed except Special Permission
Admin...... Same as system permissions
Users...... Read and Execute, List Folder Contents & Read permitted.
Trusted Installer..... List Folder Contents & Special Permissions allowed.

If you are seeing the same thing I am please let me know. PM if you can, if not a quick message in the thread.

In addition I would like to know your OS, and if you are up to date with all MicroSoft updates. Including Internet Explorer.

With this test I hope to find some commonality between the unfortunate few.

If we're lucky, this test will be a success.

What we're checking here is the permissions of the Programs Folder. Not just the program.

EDIT: Make sure that you are EXTRACTING the download package, not simply opening the zip file and double clicking on the Sniper EXE.

Sniper Mode does more "work" than Get Popular so it tends to go slower. I have 3 jobs running in Sniper Mode right now w/ today's software release and the progress bar is advancing (very slowly).

Lol, that is definitely a long time!

Thing is, you're running 5 threads meaning it will complete 5 times faster, so you will actually get 5 searches a day which is 150 a month.

Now if you look underneath the keyword data, you will see a minimum/maximum for percentage of monthly search volume. Most likely you have that set at 5-10% which gives you an average of 7.5%.

7.5 of 2000 = 150 a month, which is what you're on target for.

I'd recommend dropping it to 1 thread - you only have 1 keyword and 1 search engine, why do you need 4 more threads?

Also, you can play around with that percentage and try increasing to 10-20%

That would put you at 1 loop every 2 hours or 12 loops a day or 360 a month.

Make sense?

Well for the average guy no, you don't need all those calculations. But there are some of us that like to test different theories and ideas out and for those advanced users it is a really big help because it helps us shape our theories about how and why Sniper works and how to streamline it for each new keyword we target.

I did not do all those calculaton too.Will leave that for our Scientists of SEsniper to count....

I can't say for certain, but I can say from my experience, that I use it on one of my adsense sites and it's been 3 months, and it's still alive and kicking! This is not to say that your adsense account won't be banned.. as I may just be lucky.

I'm pretty sure there are alot of people using it on their adsense sites, to get ranked to make more money with adsense, and I haven't received an email yet saying that it hurt their adsense accts.

But just in case, what I'd recommend is to just run SES on your inner pages that don't have adsense. OR, take off adsense, run SES and get your site ranked high, then put adsense back on.

Adsense is like a Sugar Mama that will pay you every month. I love google adsense, and I don't like doing anything unnatural to her. =)

1) How proxy site could help for ranking?
2) How we get backlinks from proxy?
3) How many license we would get for 1 purchase? (Because I would like to share it with my brother, so I may need 2-3 license)

I think my problem is not in the soft version but in the activation code it self!

@KiDkiller, Proxies are IP addresses.. which are basically locations.

1) So if many proxies/IP's search for your site, Google will think you're popular, and in turn give you higher rankings. =) Simple but VERY powerful.

2) You don't get backlinks with this software.

3) You use 1 license on 1 computer. If you'd like a second license I can give it to you for $40.

I can only give 1 additional license at $40.

So 1 at full price 1 at $40. If you need a 3rd license it will be $77 again, and 1 additional at $40.

I am using Parallels desktop V5.0 on my Mac pro. Windows XP, .net 4.0 ontop of 3.5
works like a charm... except I hate the PC. way of doing things.

I was running it on my MacBook Pro along with a few others but the puter was slowed to a crawl YUKO.
So i upped the memory... still a crawl... so I moved to the Mac Pro Tower. Lots more power and I let it run 24/7

OK - PC organization question since i keep losing my files :rolleyes:

How do you PC pros organize your files????
There seems to be several different places the downloads and the saved files go to... its all so confusing.

Bas,

I am running Parallels 6.0 Desktop

Aside from the usual setup of Parallels, SE Sniper installs and works fine.

ONE tip though, if you have issues getting the Se Sniper file to install,

1. just copy the Install File to Your desktop,

2. install it from there, **be sure to either install as Administrator or do it from The Administrator Account on the Windows Virtual Machine

3. be sure to keep a copy of the Se Sniper Download in your computer somewhere (Downloads or wherever for later re-installs)

4. I installed from my Administrator Account, so there was no option to run as Administrator

5. BE SURE to get the latest version Se Sniper 1.3, and stay up to date with new releases

Seems that would be a very "human" thing to do rather than just search, click and sit for a few minutes.

I suspect you don't have a high enough post count to see the "Thanks" button at the bottom-right area of each post.

I've been trying to find some results of this software throughout this thread.

All I seem to see is issues with peoples configuration / settings.

It would be nice to see some actual results / success stories and / or feedback before I purchase.

Can anyone post their results, successful or not ?

Share on: I wonder if anyone knows the answer to this one please I have been running SE Sniper on get popular mode now for 3 days and I was on page 11 in google for a keyword with 5 milliion results and stayed there for days but now I have dropped to page 13 does anyone have any idea what is happening please ? Also I reduced my 131 keywords and 11 domains down to 5 domains and 16 keywords wih 10 threads 4 search engines and the spreadsheet suggested min 44 max 46 which I think is much better. Thanks Nev

Share on: yes correct I bought on dec 19, not sure if the reg number has been swapped to you new server...AND it isn't computer specific........as I emailed you I've tried on 3 diff computers...one with XP, one with windows 7, one with vista...all 3 versions you sent me...the reg no is not accepted on any...i've run as admin, removed all anti virus / firewall off ecah computer. Could I have anothetr reg no please and block the one you've issued? Like i've already asked for twice?

Share on: This is a question for ThisIsMyHealth please First I want to thank you for the spread sheets they are a great help. I am a little confused about one thing though. On the monthly searches I thought it meant how many searches you want per month. You say about using the google keyword tool and put the figures in for the global monthly searches for that keyword. Now my question is if you have like me 16 keywords then do you add all the global monthly searches together and put that figure in the Monthly Searches cell ? If I was to do that it would amount to millions of searches. Apologies if I am being a complete idiot but I would have thought to equal the global monthly searches that The Google Keyword Search Tool states with all the keywords combined then you would stick out like a sore thumb and use a ton of bandwidth to equal those results. Share on: For All Snipers That Are Having Install Problems With The Latest Version OK bit of a change in the instructions. My install tracker keyed itself off of the original install that I had. The Alpha Co folder is no longer the one we're interested in. We just need the SE Sniper Folder. I'm running a little experiment, and require your assistance. Can you do me a favor and try this: In addition to setting permissions by right clicking the shortcut icon. Navigate to the Program files folder and scroll down to SE Sniper. Right Click on the SE Sniper folder. Select Properties. Under the General tab check to see that THERE IS NOT A CHECK in either Attributes boxes. Next: Click on the Security tab. The top dialog box will have the users and groups listed. Starting at the top.... click on the first one, then look at the Bottom dialog box. Here you will see what users or the system permissions are set. For me I see: Creator owner......No Permissions Allowed System..... All permissions allowed except Special Permission Admin...... Same as system permissions Users...... Read and Execute, List Folder Contents & Read permitted. Trusted Installer..... List Folder Contents & Special Permissions allowed. If you are seeing the same thing I am please let me know. PM if you can, if not a quick message in the thread. In addition I would like to know your OS, and if you are up to date with all MicroSoft updates. Including Internet Explorer. With this test I hope to find some commonality between the unfortunate few. If we're lucky, this test will be a success. What we're checking here is the permissions of the Programs Folder. Not just the program. EDIT: Make sure that you are EXTRACTING the download package, not simply opening the zip file and double clicking on the Sniper EXE. Thank You! Share on: @White-Knight, I can't say for certain, but I can say from my experience, that I use it on one of my adsense sites and it's been 3 months, and it's still alive and kicking! This is not to say that your adsense account won't be banned.. as I may just be lucky. I'm pretty sure there are alot of people using it on their adsense sites, to get ranked to make more money with adsense, and I haven't received an email yet saying that it hurt their adsense accts. But just in case, what I'd recommend is to just run SES on your inner pages that don't have adsense. OR, take off adsense, run SES and get your site ranked high, then put adsense back on. Adsense is like a Sugar Mama that will pay you every month. I love google adsense, and I don't like doing anything unnatural to her. =)

If you'd like a second license I can give it to you for $40. I can only give 1 additional license at $40. So 1 at full price 1 at $40. Share on: Bas, I am running Parallels 6.0 Desktop Aside from the usual setup of Parallels, SE Sniper installs and works fine. ONE tip though, if you have issues getting the Se Sniper file to install, 1. just copy the Install File to Your desktop, 2. install it from there, **be sure to either install as Administrator or do it from The Administrator Account on the Windows Virtual Machine 3. be sure to keep a copy of the Se Sniper Download in your computer somewhere (Downloads or wherever for later re-installs) 4. I installed from my Administrator Account, so there was no option to run as Administrator 5.
