I've found that the green bar will not move if I leave the stay times boxes empty, try setting them to 0 if you don't use it.

ThisIsMyHealth, I appreciate the work you've put into that table, the problem is that it's all useless without good proxies.

I know that the proxies provided here are an extra, so I won't moan, I've had no luck with those, or with free proxies I've tried in three different places with version 1.3, which is running several times slower than the earlier version with the same proxies .

Here's an example to demonstrate. I've loaded SES with up with lvl 1 and 2 proxies from the daily proxy list right after running a Scrapebox proxy check.

I used the following settings just to exemplify just how much slower it is than it should be:

1 thread, 1 keyword, 1 domain, 1 search engine, min and max times 1, stay times 0, timeouts 15.

Now according to the excel table, each loop should take 1 minute. I timed it, it took 20 minutes! :confused: The keyword was tested in sniper mode, and already ranks #12, so it shouldn't be hard to find the site.

So then I timed it with my paid proxies and it took 25 seconds, around 50 times faster, how can this be?

That why I'm really interested in that paid proxy co-op idea, come on people, jump on board, surely other people are finding it this slow, we just need to group up in 10s and 20s and pay a tiny monthly fee and then hopefully, problem solved!

No point in running Sniper mode with zero stay time.
The function of Sniper is to click and stay on your site.

Whether it will function with 0 min and 1 max, I don't know.

Thinking on, there's no point in putting 0 as minimum as the
feature of SM is to stay on your site.

Why put min and max times the same?

Free proxies are not going to be as good as paid one.

Test proxies in EPS and pick the faster L1 and perhaps L2.
As far as I know Scaper doesn't show delay times.

With respect you can't have looked too hard!

Search my name, for example, in this thread and you will see what you are looking for.

Also, we are getting some real neat upgrades...one just happened and another is due in a week or so.

Also, also...Casey is great on the support front and he has a few of us who have his back to help also...check out Vetteran and MisterE also in your search. These guys are pretty switched on with this piece of machinery and know how to make it SING!

Honestly, I wouldn't waste my money buying those proxies. Those are all PUBLIC proxies which means they're just scraping them from some website and giving them to you.

A thousand other people (at least) will be using those proxies and they're gonna die out just as quickly as any others. If you do a little digging on Google you can find five or ten thousand public proxies that are refreshed once or twice daily. It just takes a little bit of looking.

If that's your last option you can try it, but don't count on anything better than what you're currently seeing.

Agree with you totally, the success of this software depends in large part on good proxies, but there are ways of finding proxies if you really look and as I already mentioned to Nev, those proxies he is looking at are all public proxies, meaning they die out quick. I use public proxies all the time, but I'd be hesitant to pay for them simply because of how many people use them and how quick they die.

All Casey did was provide a way for someone to automate that last piece of the puzzle, provided they do the work and find the right proxies. I myself am glad he hasn't done more work in finding proxies because it means that only people serious about using this will get a benefit out of it.

There are literally tens of thousands of proxies available online DAILY, you just have to put in a little work to find them.

Well... it's not new technic, and i think Google can make some changes or may already have made changes to its algorithm for ranking websites in the light of this method, so it would be interesting about fresh results? Actually, he did sell it with proxies. The original offer, anyway, included software to find and generate proxies. unfortunately, that software never worked as promise and he started sending daily proxy lists as a replacement.

And with that list of thousands of proxies, I do scan and test and come up with about 100-200 viable Level 1 & 2 proxies to use. This problem continues even with his "good" proxies and filtering those down by 90% to ones that appear to work.

No offense, but you're way off point. We've wasted more than 10 hours trying to get this to work, a dozen emails with Casey, questions on his forum and I'm not the only one having problems. The fact is that it doesn't work as billed - at least not for everyone. I've never seen the multithreading work as promised and even following exact examples he gives on his forum with his proxies, it doesn't work. Loops that should take 2 hours are less than 20% complete after 24 hours.

And it's not the machine. It's a brand new i7-950 with 12GB ram, SDD drives and *nothing else* running while this is running.

The concept is good and simple - do searches for your domain + your keyword, so the engines associate your domain with your keyword, and then click on your links if it finds them in a regular search. Fine, I get that. But if it doesn't run multi-threaded as billed, then it just doesn't work right.

I've already been told "no refunds" so then, yes, I want to see it work.

I've helped everyone with issues, and they're up and running. So if yours is not working, you haven't wrote me. =)

Also free proxies are SLOW. If you'd like them faster, you'll have to buy paid proxies.

And the app is multi-threaded. =)

It runs multi-threaded just fine, like I said before. Just because you can't get it to work doesn't mean the software is bad. I have multi-threading working just fine, and honestly you really don't need multi-threading until you get up into some higher searched numbers...just lower you min/max time...same thing.

What it really boils down to is this - if you're willing to invest some time in it, you'll find it works as advertised. Yeah, there's some hiccups - mine messed up on the last install, but Casey worked his ass off until they all got fixed.

Secondly, it's already been pointed out a dozen times, Casey was stupid to ever include proxies as part of the deal bc they are a beast. If that was the only reason you bought this software, because you thought it was all going to be handed to you, my apologies.

And no offense, but I'm not way off point. If you're "wasting" so much time, drop it and move on to something better. And no, you're not the only one having issues, but every issue that Casey can fix he has been working to.

This is new software, and I'm guessing you've never had issues with any other software before or you just have really unrealistic expectations, but that's how new software works...there's bugs sometimes. And please don't tell me he should have kept it in beta until there were no bugs, because that line gets old.

ANY new software that launches will have problems. That's just software. May not happen to you every time, but ask any software programmer and they will tell you that there is no such thing as the perfect program. So acting like it's somehow Casey's fault because you didn't get it perfect out of the box is kinda sad.

All your multi-threading problems are simply proxy problems, so that's something you need to fix. Find better proxies - problem solved. Or you can keep complaining about how you should be provided working proxies that never go bad or have too many people using it...if he did that the price would be $497...a month.

Personally I'll take this version and do the few minutes of work each day to find proxies.

With regard to proxies I use scrapebox to find them then put the list through the free version of Elite Proxy Switcher which I have set to filter the level 1's and 2's and this works fine for me.

Although today I used the sesniper proxy list, and put these through Elite Proxy Switcher ending up with over 200 level 1's and 2's which is enough for me.

I'm not sure if Clickbank hop urls can be indexed, but what you can do is buy a cheap domain, and forward it to your hoplink. And run the domain in SES.

But my question is.... if I run it through SES, What keywords should I use?

I can see that Google index the product's sales page but problem is it does not use "keywords" that people are searching for.... because I guess the product owner does not want to optimize his sales page because he/she wants affiliates to send traffic to his/her sales page.

@wrays, I'd use the keyword that are targeted to the clickbank product.

For example if you buy:
BestMarketingProduct.info > Forward to your clickbank affiliate hoplink..

Now put BestMarketingProduct.info in SES , with the keyword Best Marketing Product, and similar keywords that someone would search for when searching for that product. Usually it's the exact product name, and if it's in your domain name that's Money!! =)

I think the quality of the proxies is of great importance to this software. It's just like what a bullet is to a gun. That is no point having a M16 rifle but loaded with rubber bullets...It's troublesome to get a list of bullets (Proxies) and ask to sort out the real ones (L1 & L2 proxies) from the rubber ones (L3 proxies). This is a powerful weapon, give us the Real bullets only,please. I know the daily proxies list is a Bonus. Just sharing my thought here.

Hope that Casey will comes out with a list of premium paid L1 and L2 proxies directly and automatically loaded into the software.That will definitely solve half the questions in this thread and he can easily rise the selling price to over a $100 bucks...but current /old customers will get this Free upgrade feature right?
You can charge the new customers as much as you wish,especially those that take their time to think and analyze....:p

As someone who has just purchased SE Sniper prior to the next scheduled price increase, I too would have a vested interest in getting premium L1 and L2 proxies every day at no cost.

However, the fact is, that sorting through hundreds or thousands of proxies takes time... and caseyallen's time is too valuable to do this all for free. It's one thing to spend a ton of time supporting his own program -- and he's doing a fantastic job from what I can tell from this thread. However, it's quite another thing to spend a considerable amount of time each day delivering an ongoing bonus. NOT FAIR to caseyallen, in my opinion.

Perhaps a fairly low-cost monthly subscription, if enough SE Sniper users sign up, could sufficiently pay for his time to offer this service... And yet it would probably be more than worth it for us, considering the time savings for us.

Another thing to consider. As soon as there's even a small price attached to it, fewer people will buy... Which means less competition for those of us who see the true value in this. :-)

Well said.I do agree that we have to be fair to Casey. That's why I suggest that he charge those guys bought outside WF or at a later stage a higher price to compensate for his valuable time.He can simply outsource this task with the additional income.

And you may be wrong, even if he charge the old/current users for the paid proxies,there will still be a lot of competition from outside the SEsniper customers, since those proxies list that he bought for us may not be exclusively only to us.These proxies list may be bought by other internet marketers too.

Anyway, I will respect Casey decision and I am sure he will come up with a good deal for all of us.

If anybody has problems running a software program as administrator from Desktop after installed just go into your Program Files where most downloaded software programs are originally installed and then just right click - run as administrator from there.

Computer-Local files-Program files = Done Deal!

You can also right click and send that icon to your desktop as a short cut and rename. Alot of times after I initiate the software run as administrator from program files(x86) I can then just double click as usual from the desktop and the software will kick in and run as usual.

that has always worked for me!

Bought this last night and had many issues trying to get it to work, uninstalling, rebooting, re-installing several times

It now seems to be working and remembers my domain but not my keywords?

I hit quit then open again, the campaign name is there, i select that then
the next screen opens where it shows the domain but no keywords

Any advice would be appreciated

bought SES two days ago and have really struggled!!I cant get my pc to run programme in administrator have turned UAC off reinstalled net 4.0 and un installed and reinstalled about eight times to no avail. Im running vista home basic as my OS any suggestions??
