Casey - suggestion for software if possible!

If your programmer/coder could integrate a break up or an itemized list of how we load our domains(home page/root url) and keywords that are correlated - separated from other keywords that we want to target search for a particular page (domain.com/particular page)

My best suggestion to look at would be the rank tracking tool in Market Samurai.

If your programmer could code an itemization process (drop down tick box) and separate the keywords for each page(url string) we want to target for SEsniper to search, aside from just the root url as MS does with their Ranking Tool - that would be an ideal improvement!

hope you understand what i'm suggesting here!

p.s. - what about adding a pause button for updating proxy list during long campaigns?

If anybody has problems running a software program as administrator from Desktop after installed just go into your Program Files where most downloaded software programs are originally installed and then just right click - run as administrator from there.

Computer-Local files-Program files = Done Deal!

You can also right click and send that icon to your desktop as a short cut and rename. Alot of times after I initiate the software run as administrator from program files(x86) I can then just double click as usual from the desktop and the software will kick in and run as usual.

that has always worked for me!

Now this is weird - I have several Wordpress-based sites and use KStats to analyse traffic. I see no evidence of any increased traffic since installing SESniper.

However
If I look at those sites in Alexa, each has shown a massive drop in their Alexa rank; almost a million places overnight.

So my question is - should I be seeing any activity in KStats? Should I install another analytics plug-in? Does anyone else have experience of this?

That's because you are not running it as Administrator. Change that in Properties
of the shortcut. You may be the pc Administrator but you won't be logged on as that.

You'll have been given an address for proxies, it's up to each user to test them using EPS.

I have never expected it to be.

I was asking whether I should eventually expect this to show any evidence in Kstats or whether I should change my Analytics software.

Sounds like a local problem with your pc.

Try rebooting.

Have you ticked Run as Admin in the Properties of the shortcut?

Strongly recommend getting and running Tune-up Utilities 2011.

NB If your system is XP then you will be logged on as Administrator by default.

Not so in Vista and Windows 7. You may well be the Administrator but you won't be logged on as such.

I have read it many times!

If you read my question it asks specifically about KStats and Wordpress.

The FAQ refers to AWStats which is completely different from the KStats plugin. I was trying to elicit responses from anyone who has experience with KStats and SESniper.

Do you know whether Kstats gets data from AWStats or directly from Google? That is the core of the question, I guess!

I'd assume that Kstats won't show traffic from free proxies.

I didn't notice whether you are using SES in SM.


Does it matter? Or do you think that SES is not doing what it says?

Traffic that buys is more to the point.

I was merely replying to another user who had noticed odd things in tracking reports; it got me thinking so I asked a specific question about Kstats. I'm interested in finding out other people's experiences.

I respect your knowledge of the software - I just didn't think your approach was helpful - you assumed that I had not read the FAQ when, in fact, I've read it so often I can recite the questions in it!

Is it just me or EPS is failing miserably? The proxy list the Casey sent out today, none of them can be categorized as level 1 nor 2 nor 3.

I use KStats as well and it's definitely not picking up any increase from SES. Although I know the software's working.

Hi Casey,

I don't know a lot about Proxies as you know.

I suggested a co-op with one of the other services but as some pointed out they are free public ones so not a great idea.

Now the site you mention hxxp://www.ezproxies.com/

I can see do private proxies so lets say we had a co-op and we bought into 250 at $1.30 a piece surely with the amount of people that would use up the bandwidth limit. Also it would be the same proxies month in month out would that matter?

By using public proxies and a lot of them surely that looks more natural to the search engines.

Forgive me if I am wrong and please correct me.

I just thought it had to look as natural as possible so the more proxies you use the more it looks like people all over the world are searching your site and keywords.

That is why I suggested a co-op with esp

Eventhough they are public and everyone uses them they still offer atleast 700 - 1000 Level 1 and 2 per day.

I only had six people interested which shocked me lol

I notice your in the uk my niche would only be searched by people in the uk only as it is uk relevant I have looked at the services of a uk based proxy server would this you think fool the big G and solve the problem of proxies.

I just thought it would be convenient is all and rather than looking all over the net it is all done for you. I do understand where you are coming from though.

I am new to this proxy thing and I bet many others are so trying to find the right ones could be quite a task that is why I thought opting for the easy option would be best.

Hi Casey,

Please note that version 1.3 is still not working for me. Even with a freshly checked proxy list, random visit times of 1 (Min) and 2 (Max), a Min stay time of 1 and a Max stay time of 2, it still takes hours to move from one keyword from the next.

As per previous correspondences, I did not have this problem before the upgrade.

Don't know if this makes any sense but, could the country from where the software is running make a difference? I am running it from Malta while Pedro is running it from Portugal (or so I am assuming).

Having said that, please note that my bandwidth speed is excellent, so it is surely not a question of bandwidth.

I'd be surprised if Google is making any judgement about IP source and destination. That would make no sense at all.

Your business may be UK but what's to say someone from anywhere
doing research, planning to visit/move to UK?

I agree that this country of origin thing does not really make sense. However what surprises me is why version 1.3 is working fine for many people and not working at all for others.

Dont you think it would look strange someone from Germany or US looking to buy lawnmowers in the UK constantly getting hits from abroad??Also my site is some 9 months old and only ever got UK hits. Ive researched a proxy server for minimal cost of £5.00 per month just wandered your initial thoughts?
Also any thoughts vet on my installation problems as shown in previous thread 2708 thanks for your help and input both are appreciated!

I'm really not sure where or why you get off talking down to people as you do in your responses, when all I am after is some genuine recent and positive responses as a direct result of using this software.

More so than those posted in the authors original thread at the beginning of this post.

May be it is successful, however you must be blinkered if you cannot pick up this negativity / frustration as voiced in recent threads.

I am merely asking for peoples results i.e #100 to #3 or something. I see little of these stories... nothing more, nothing less.

As I wrote in the initial response o the guy who posted about analytics, even though I'm not seeing any figures in KStats, I'm not bothered as I can see the effect on Alexa immediately.

@klever1 - withing 24 hours I have seen almost 1,000,000 placings of improvement in my Alexa ranking! That is a much quicker improvement than I had expected; this is not a magic-bullet, overnight thing. You have to be in it for the long haul!

Sorry mate, I think you have it all wrong. I used the previous version without issues for weeks. But after upgrading to version 1.3, it did not work any longer. After all, as far as I know the new version only added two new settings: the min stay time and the max stay time. Unless there is something else that I am missing, the projects that have been saved in the previous version are supposed to work in the new version and it is just a question of inputting the min stay time and max stay time to get the saved projects from the previous version to work.

My PC has nothing wrong with it and I find it hard to believe that something happened to my PC exactly as I upgraded to version 1.3. After all I use dozens of other software programs on my PC without any issues whatsoever.

I asked for Casey's support and yesterday I even exchanged several emails with him. Casey asked me to send him the screen shots of the settings, which I did. He recommended some changes in the settings and I followed his instructions. Casey also told me to ensure that I am running the program as administrator, which I did. Casey also recommended to ensure that the proxies are still live by checking them with Elite Proxy Switcher. I also did that but this did not solve the problem.

I am a mac guy. I am using Parallels Desktop windows XP. I have virtually no idea how the PC side of things work. I got my new version link, followed the advice on uninstalling the old version, installed the new on into the original SES folder and voila. It Worked!

I was experiencing lots of slowness due to bad proxies. I couldnt find a good quantity of them so i took the plunge and ordered private ones from bonanza proxy service.
All is well again and serps are rising.
