Thanks Mark, that was very helpful. From what people in this thread has said, Sniper will boost EZA articles in rankings, but not increase EZA views. That throws me for a loop, because if this software boosts rankings by visiting the site you enter, an EZA page would automatically register views. Unless I'm missing something, of course

Alright, just looked at the source code for ezine articles. It's Java that delivers the actual article. Java is also used to register page views.

I was keeping up with this thread for a while, but it really is moving very quickly!

My question is about local SEO. I am confident that your software will help these sites get better rankings, but it is not really efficient to continue running it if you have multiple clients.

If you have medium competition for a local, offline keyword that may be difficult and time consuming to rank for, will your software help take over a top spot? I know there are many variables, but if one were to use your software to quickly get a new site into the local serps, would a healthy backlinking and seo campaign be enough to keep it on the top spots? This is just to reduce outsourcing problems, etc.

Also, are there any foreseeable dangers to using it temporarily on an existing site? For instance Google slaps or dramatic changes when the software is unable to be used (given there is a healthy seo campaign)?

Question to Casey/successful offliners ... I would like to use this software on multiple clients' domains. With the broad variation in successful results shared here, I get the impression that that only one- [at most 2 clients w/ 2-3 LT keywords each] could be accomodated at a time-- is that right? Stated differently, what is an optimal configuration for domains/LT keywords combo? [This all assumes decent on/off page SEO, etc]

Of course, everyone knows that great fulfillment and reputation are key to a successful consultancy. [I'd like to keep that intact ]

Guys please help me out.
I changed the result from excel because I will not be able to run this full 24hrs.

Here's my data
3 keywords each with 1000 exact match searches, so 3000 in all
Random Visit times 35 - 70 (The software values this in seconds while the excel shows in minutes right?)
Min/Max Stay time 25-35
Threads 1
Search Engines 1
Timeout - 20-30(slow internet as I will be doing other things too)


Does this look ok? Pl help!

If your keyword has 1000 searches, only put 1000 in the column. It is not the total of your keywords x search volume, just your search volume.

The visit times are in minutes, not seconds, just like in the formula.

It depends on how long you are running it, since you only said you're not running it 24 hours. That leaves 1-23 hours as a possibility. Gotta be more specific.

I'm a little confused. I checked out this thread in it's early stages and noticed a lot of positive reviews and sales. Now I don't see many positive reviews, in fact I see many software issues and I don't see the owner of this WSO commenting any longer.

My question is, does this product work and is it easy to use?

Will I get any customer support if something does go wrong with the software?

So does that mean if my site is ranked in Google as site.com that I should omit the www. in the domain window of SE Sniper? Will the program still work if I just enter site.com?

This may have already been asked, but there's no way I'm going to read 61 pages of comments! LOL

Questions:

1. It sounds like I can use the software to get my or a clients site high rankings for more than one keyword (how many? unlimited?), but is that for only the home page (ie the homepage can rank #1 for multiple keywords) or do we target one keyword per page, so homepage is one keyword and each inner pages on the site can each represent one keyword?

2.. If I used this software on a site and it got the site to #1 for my set of keywords will the site plummet if I suddenly stop using the software on it or does it have some stick ability to it once I get it to the top for my keywords?

3. Since this software is simulating searches and clicks coming from my computer through proxies I'm wondering what it the limit of this software as fa as how many sites I can be working to pump-up for keywords at any one time?

For example say I wanted to use this software to get offline clients site ranked highly for a set of keywords for each client. About how many keywords and or sites can I reasonably expect to be able to have the software rank for me at any given time and not bring my computer and or internet connection to it's knees? I do have Fios 15mb down and 5 mb up.

No offense, but you didn't look very hard. Casey has been working his ass off helping people get everything working and the software issues are because he just finished his first update with some user features added in. Customer service is definitely not an issue here lol...

If your site will be at 1st place you don't need use a software because real people will come to your site. Real people from SE.

Hi Stephen,

Your answers:

1) Advised to do your home page plus any number of internal pages. This will return more interest and in turn traffic to your site. Also good to add any support sites to the mix, such as Hubpages or Squidoo, that are linked to your home page.

2) As with any SEO operation, should you stop for any reason for any period of time, your ranking will tend to slip. As this is as hands free as it gets, other than refreshing your proxies on a daily basis, there should be no reason to stop doing this.

3) There is no reason why you can't open 2, 3, 4 or more instances of this app. working simultaneously on your desktop. Maybe have 2 apps. working on the 'Get Popular' mode (for any sites outside G's top 150) and another 2 on 'Sniper' mode clicking on all your sites sitting with G's top 150 (15 pages).

I accidentally found out one long tail keyword my site is ranking for, its isnt even LSI, its just mentioned once in content on my site, never build any backlins for it/anchor text etc, yesterday for that keyword my site was #19, I just add it to SE next to my main keyword and 12h later site is on #11 for that keyword. Go figure...

Hey I just got this program and it looks amazing and after reading some of the testimonials I decided to buy it!

Only one problem though.. When i try to get into SEO sniper I get this message:

"SEsniper has stopped working
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."

Let me know how to fix it asap as I'm eager to dive in!

Hey listen, you are not suppose to use the sniper mode until your website is on page 5 or lower. You have to start with the get popular mode. Hope this helps

after running SE Sniper for 2 days for 2 of my domains, I got these results:
1. The first domain (with less 2 millions competition) that I have ranked it on 1st page of google before, 9th position exactly, has moved up to the 5th position for the home page. But one of the page that I snipped only moved 1 position from #26 to #25.

2. The second domain, which is still brand new (approximately a month) gained #31 on on one night but it fell again today to #45.

So I get this conclusion, you can easily rank your domain with SE Sniper if you have already done proper SEO to your site(s). I agree with so many warrior member on this thread that there is no magic button that can make your site rank on the first page of google by pushing it and leave it.

Consistency and patient are the key, I'm still running SE snip and going to report for further result. Btw thanks Casey to give us this secret that can benefit so many webmasters. I hope you stop selling it to avoid further competition (just kidding, well no I'm serious).

Sounds like it won't work or won't last - surely Google will twig this fast?

The proxies available from 2 am EST are quite good provided that
you test them a few times and select the faster ones.

The difference between L1 and L2 proxies appears to be that the destination
can tell that the source was from a proxy, but no further back, when using L2.

I've not yet been able to find out whether Google and other SE have analytics to
sense L2 and so ignore that search.

I hate to post this here but my proxy list url doesn't seem to be working and I don't have any notification of any changes in my email messages. Any one else having any problems or did it change again and I just can't find it?

Thx for the update, this thread is so long it was hard to keep up. So at this point, I can expect a fully operational product? I don't mind a few little bugs, I can work with those.

You need to download Elite Proxy Switcher (free), then import the proxy listing from casey into that.

Then detect the proxies. Once complete, eliminate the slow proxies anything over say 800ms. Eliminate the L3 proxies as well as these are transparent. Stick to the anonymous ones L1 & L2.

Save your list then import these proxies into the Sniper software.

Recheck your list a couple of times a day, as a lot of the proxies drop off the list.

When testing is finished, click Delay to sort in descending order.
Click save icon, check L1 and delay and save the file.
Open that file with a spreadsheet, it's then easy to select
the faster proxies, say up to 600/700ms.

Casey, please, explain your theory, because I think the opposite - if Google removed(or dropped) the site from the serps, and the searches continues, then Google think that this is a cheat, because how can searching keep going if the site does not in serps???

@Magic32, If your site is dropped low or to nowhere, it is the Google Dance, so don't stop getting backlinks, don't stop running ses. What I mean by that, and I hoped it was apparent =) But I meant run it in Get Popular mode. Sniper mode won't be able to find the site.

While I'll let Casey answer directly... I will say that Casey and others have been running SESniper for months, and I certainly haven't heard ANYONE on this thread provide any evidence that Google banned any of their websites. A temporary "Google dance", yes... but not any ban that I'm aware of.

That's the purpose of research so that you set your search rate to appear a natural increase.

eg if a keyword is getting around 300 searches per day as shown in the Keyword Tool, then you set to make 15 - 30 searches with SES not 300.

I'm afraid not for natural keywords, I'm afraid for the use of a domain in the queries. And this is not natural with use domain name in every query 100...200...300 times and more. Or do you think that real people in a query using your domain name?

How about this for your next project ?

Create software that searches all over the net for proxies, then sorts them into Level 1 and Level 2 with speeds up to 1000 or 2000ms and then have an app that incoporates it into the SE Sniper software.

Then you would have the perfect automated system.

What do you think ?

I am sure a coder could do it.

Wow the pages on this tread are growing exponentially. Scanned through from where I believed I had stopped a few days ago but didn't see anything concerning these questions. But in case I missed it, appologies.

Can anyone pls answer the following 2 questions:
1. Do I have to press stop when changing or adding or deleting
proxies? Or does ses recognize the changes while still running?

2. What about when I am running more than one instance? Is pressing stop necessary? Is each instance treated separately? ie: All instances are automatically updated or just the current instance is updated or no instances are updated to reflect the changes in proxies?

The reason for my question is: I am having problems getting loops to happen except excruciatingly slow. in both snipper and get popular modes. I know it must be related to the state of the proxies. But if I always have to stop so I can edit the proxy list for each instance, I don't quite ever get to use any keywords except the first few. (do I have to reorder the kw's to resolve this?)
