There could be several factors involved. Remember that it can take up to 7 weeks like Casey mentions. Also if you are targeting really big competition keyword or keywords, then is more like an offset, as the software has a lot of competition from other sources. Try using only one long tail keyword. For example how to make money really fast on the internet. That is a one long tail keyword. Let just say you go to google keyword tool and it has 200,000 thousands monthly global searches. Then you go to google and in the search bar you type that keyword in quotation marks " " and let just say your competition result is only 10,000. That would be an excellent keyword and I would use it and put it on my SES so that the software points that keyword to my domain over and over. Also you need to upload a new fresh set of proxies every 6 hours or so. Have you been doing that for the last 30 days. Some people are reporting their website already on page 1 with this software like Amy, just go back a few pages in here and you will see. Anyways, sad to see you go when this is just starting to get great!

Listen guys, if you not a first-two month in SEO, you MUST TO KNOW - never, I repeat, never(at this time) a website for a 2-3 hours of work of any software, does not move to the top of Yahoo and Bing, as written by Amy, because Yahoo and Bing are not updated so quickly like Google.

If the Amy sites got a good positions in Yahoo and Bing, believe me, that the reason is not of a few hours of working software.

@CSSwilson, I replied to your ticket. That is a permissions error.

You Have to run the app as admin.

Run the app as administrator (Right Click on the icon and "Run as Administrator". Also you can right click on the app, click on "Properties", then click on the "Compatibility" tab, and at the bottom check to always run as administrator. You may have to go to your installation directory, usually Program Files/SEsniper/SEsniper and right click on the sesniper exe in there to run as administrator.

If the above doesn't work.. try this solution a fellow SES user came up with:

Go to Control Panel>User Accounts and Family Safety>User Accounts>(at the bottom)turn UAC(user account control) on or off>turn UAC off, restart your computer.

why is it that whatever settings I put in, the software is still running REALLY SLOW. Proxies look good, I suppose, 'cos I just loaded them in. I set the visit min visit time to 2 and max to 4, min stay time 1 and max stay time 1, 18 threads, 3 search engines. I have 24 URL with one keyword per url. It's been almost 18 minutes, and it's still on the 4th bar. Is this normal?

It's my understanding that Casey has temporarily stopped accepting orders until the next update. He usually responds to the questions here at least several times per day; however, he's been pretty busy today (probably working to get the update done), and so he's been on this thread less than he normally is.

Well if that is the case, then I think he's making a BIG mistake, there are a bunch of people promoting this software just to send potential customers to a "Can't Find Server Page"... The least you do, if this is the case, is to put a message on the site saying "TEMPORALLY CLOSED" or something like that...

I don't think that's the case though, but I may be wrong...

Thank you so much for posting this. I went from a single (yeah, that would be one) L1 to 124 L-1's under 700. Not only that, this fix made the whole proxy checking process SO FAST!

When I set the TCP the first time I used EPS I didn't set the SECOND setting to 100. What a diff!

I have everything working and seeing some results thanks to you and this thread. I'm actually reading the whole thread.

Couple things, I'm not able to login to the forum. yes, I registered and confirmed my email but cannot log in. Keep getting an error.

And, in trying to wrap my head around how this software works, wouldn't it make sense in Get Popular mode that it should click on your site too?

I mean if someone has gone through the trouble of searching for a
keyword + yoursite.com, it just makes sense that they would also click on the link once they found it. I'm interested on yours or anyone's thoughts on this.

I also vote for a Pause button, auto-proxy loading and cleansing, stats on actual clicks and drilling down the site and clicking on other links within the site for ideas on the next upgrade. That should keep your coder busy.

Guys, sorry for the occasional outages. My server is overloaded. I'm upgrading to the next vps package in a moment. So it should happen less. :/ I upgraded to the VPS to stop these outages, but now I'm getting more traffic than ever, and that should be a good thing, but it's a little too much for my vps package. So I'm upgrading now.. just got some time free.

How many proxies would be a sufficient number to be running on a campaign. It seems like some of the lists are testing down to slim pickins... and if some die off quickly, or over the course of a couple hours, it gets worse.

For example, if I filter a list of 2900 proxies through EPS, and only select the Level 1's that that have a delay of 800 or less, that 2900 breaks down to about 28 good proxies. Is that sufficient for a campaign?

The maths is that it means 28 unique hits per keyword/url combo - it may make a minor improvement, but I can't see 28 uniques having a major effect ... hope I am wrong.

I have been running every other day and seen little effect on rankings. I am wondering if we all use the same proxy source will they quickly stop working, as Google will see the spikes coming from those ip's and ignore or ban them?

well I stumbled upon this thread around 5 hours ago and my eyes are crazy tired and I only went through the first 20 pages or so and then about the most recent 10. Lots of things come to mind.

1) for a 60 page thread of a not so cheap product I ask myself where are the reviews and feedback....I think I saw just a couple.
2) i know from experience that people often dont review for positive revies just negative;lol
3) the few that did have issues or want refunds had very few posts and were probably very new to this with limited skills - not all...one seemed to have some working knowledge with no success at setting his copy up successfully
4) obviously it seems the biggest user worry and issue is the proxys
5) for users that can afford to spend money on proxies is there a relieble solution....one user suggested 2000 a day from "my proxy" ...com
is that a real world solution
6) seems like most wso's always improve over time and we are the beta testers...lol - have issues been addressed and solutions given? from various comments I think itis fair to say it has been a little buggy
7) how clear is the user manual...are there any video demos?...as i spent 5 hours on 30% of this thread, and I sometimes see a response like go back and read the manual....which is really not helpful this is not kindergarten and if I end up needing help with it, I am hoping to get help.... this is not to say that the entire thread has been like a support forum....but the answers are very varied .....use l1's....use l1 and l2 ...but not 3's ....etc....I realize it is always a learning curve and seeing what works for you, but definately hope there is a clear and easy to understand best practices included.....how many pages is it....honestly pdf's that are 130 pages scare me because even if the answer is thereu can never find it.

9) how will it work to help out 100 deep pages on one trusteddomone main keyword...... ive been leaving the math for last, but how many searches will I get to those pages if my spare maching runs it 24 hours?

edit 9) 100 pages, one KW each (though can do 2-3 each) ,long tail....some already ranking between 50-150 in the serps (pos#)
trusted site with over 100,000 backlinks......the pages in question are not backlinked at all yet.....in fact a few bookmarks to each page may be enough to bring me to page 1 or 2 in 50% of the 100 pages.

1) Tons of reviews here.. I've highlighted a few in my original post. But for the majority, you really have to read each page.

2) Sad but true! =)

3) Yes, they were mostly people who got overwhelmed, or needed the money.

4) Yes that is a big worry. I'm not getting into the proxy pushing business. But I support anyone who does, as it's alot to take on.

I've never used any other service aside from HideMyAss, so I can't vouch for any.

5) Same as #4, I'm not really sure. Someone brought squidproxies to my attention, but I've never heard of them before I launched this wso, and really can't vouch for them.

6) Yes issues have, and still are being addressed. The app isn't buggy, it's that you have to run it as administrator, and that is new to some.

7) The user manual is straight-forward, but won't hold your hand. My partner is making a video, but is taking his sweet time.

There's plenty of help available. You can submit a support ticket, and me or 1 of 4 other vetteran SES users will respond. We also have a support area, where the community can help you as well.


8) If you're a fast learner, proxies will soon become like second nature. You'll have a lot of help.

Hi Casey. I have a question. Lets just say i used a tinyurl.com/bau26s that i am using this as an example. First of all will that url get get indez with your ses? Also if it does, can i test your software to see how good it works by doing the following.

Go to google keyword tool and choose a long tail keyword that has over 20000 global monthly searches per day. Then I go to google and i type in the search bar that long tail keyword in "quotation marks" to find out my competiton. Lets just say my competition comes back as 10 which is extremely low. In this exaggeration example, running this ses 24 hours a day, with brand new fresh L1 proxies with less than 600ms and using one one search engine, G, 1 thread, min 10 max 20. How fast can i rank first? I just wanted to experiment with a long tail keyword that has no competition at all, just to put the ses software to the test, Let me know what you think about this whole crazy idea I have in mind, lol

10) It was only closed for 2 hours. Been back open ever since.

11) There's a few ses users working on something. You may find some info by searching this thread for "co op" or "co-op".

The proxies that come with the package, are usable, and there's many anonymous proxies in each daily package.

But I do recommend buying proxies, if the free ones don't work out for you.

There's some good proxy experts in here, that could probably help better than me. =)

I think your test is a good idea! Not crazy at all. But not with tinyurls.. Maybe try with a hard-to-rank domain like .info ?? An idea =)

I think that there are two here willing to share their paid proxies.
The daily list is good but needs testing a few times during the day
as proxies come and go for various reasons. (See Proxyfire site for loads of info.)

Just tested today's list, >70 L1 at < 700ms, and that's an unusually low count.

Does not matter how many pages that your site has.

Set your search rates to about 5% of the figure shown in the keyword tool.

Keywords that have sites in the top 5/6 pages can run in Sniper Mode.

Still wondering how many proxies are sufficient to get a good run. The last list only yielded about 28 Level 1 with less than 800 delay.
