i am thinking casey should develop this SEsniper software compatible on Windows server 2003 and 2008. Because many internet marketers already using VPS run for their Automation SEO tools.
But SEsniper has problems with run on windows VPS.many buyers have this problem.

Many internet marketers have not High quality resources like very expensive computer. High speed internet connections.....etc. So they need VPS

i am tiring to run SEs on my VPS since one month.....i tried using different ways.but i was failed.i extremely love for this software
But unfortunately it can't run on my VPS

I also have suggestions for Casey: I believe it will be good for you, your current and future customers, if you can make Video Tutorials which address the issues discussed in this thread, so that they don't have to read more than 80 pages long of posts to figure out how to setup the software correctly, so that it can show its true power and wonders as have been enjoyed by those who were lucky enough to be able to install, setup and run it correctly and properly.

This way, Casey, you will save a lot of your own time explaining to each and every customer or potential customer about the same details over and over again.

You can do it easily with Camtasia.

Please ignore this suggestion, if it's been said somewhere in this very long thread.

I ran SESniper on VPS for weeks now. Not an issue. I installed it, ran EPS proxy list and no issues at all.

Perhaps it's best to install on Windows Server 2003. I heard that it's better than 2008. (Isn't that strange?)

One Thing that happened to me was as soon as I stopped using Se Sniper my blog dropped. I just wish I knew at the very start not to use it on your main blog. If I knew that back then I would have pointed it to a feeder page.

Some good advice:

Beware if you use se sniper on your main site, blog or money site. Only use it on a feeder site or if you are going to use it on your main site, make sure you use it permanently until it gets you to the top. Then the search engine traffic will keep you there anyway. I have now dropped from no.1 to no.5 for a non competitive keyword and I have more backlinks and more content than I had before. So if you stop using Se Sniper somehow google will know I guess.

I would suggest using it on an article yes.

Think about this for a minute,

If you use it on an article it will become popular in that article directory and should eventually reach the top of its catergory. This will mean mass exposure in the article directory and that should reflect on the main site it is linked to. If google had any idea what you were doing hopefully they would just delist the article.

Seriously though if you intend to use it on a money site make sure you keep the pattern up otherwise it is possible google will know something is not right. I am living proof lol. (what A Bloody Idiot I am Lol) The reason I stopped it is simply because of the referrer/user issue as in the footprint. Now I wish I hadn't but there you go you live and learn.


That is my understanding anyway.

Normally after you get on page 1, you'll start getting natural traffic, natural attention, and therefore natural searches, so you can then scale back the use of SES, as you'll get natural attention. And eventually stop using SES.

It pays to keep using SES. Just make it a daily seo task. Just let it run in the background, and change/test proxies at least once a day. That's it.

I like the comment about requesting a refund. Good luck. Its been almost 2 weeks since I requested one. All that has happened is that my SE Sniper is locked out. No reply, no comment, nada.

I want my refund. I submitted a ticket in time, I politely asked, Do I have to be nasty to get a response?

If I could not get a reply what I would do is just start a dispute with paypal if you purchased it that way or if it was through clickbank then just send an email to clickbank like this.

In the body just say sorry the software did not work for me or it was not what I expected and you are done.

Hey I have bought things in the past that say any questions or problems pls email support. A week two weeks three weeks later still no reply. It is as if that wonderful person on the video and on the sales page who claims how great their product and support is really does not exist.

Get used to it my friend that is life on the net I am afraid.

If I get no reply I just go and get myself a refund.

I don't even bother contacting the owner or support for a refund.

Atleast Casey has a forum and shows up here which is more than I can say for most.

I did eventually get my refund... but it was not easy nor quick, here's how:

Logged 2 support calls within the advertised trial period. Then created a paypal dispute.

I did not hear anything, yet my SES license was disabled, proving my calls/ dispute had triggered a reaction.

The key here to getting noticed is to post your refund request in this forum thread on a daily basis. No software owner is going to want potential customers to see any indication of a poor customer service / satisfaction record.


You will get the old faithful responses, ones to watch out for...

..... I have processed every refund request. (as we all know this is not true)
..... Please don't post your refund requests in here I don't read every post (again not true, most of us only post in here to get some visibility as there is still a refusal to acknowledge the formal requests)

What to watch out for...

I was told that because I had started a paypal dispute that a refund will not be processed and that the case will run until the end. However if I chose to close the dispute I would receive a refund.

For all those that don't know if you close a dispute before you are refunded there is no recourse if you don't receive your refund. You cannot reopen a closed dispute. So watch this.

I did advise that a refund could be processed and the dipsute closed by the software owner, for which the owner was apprently unaware of this process. None the less my refund was processed 48 hours later and the dispute was closed.

It did take almost 2 weeks of posting in this forum to get my refund application processed.

Top tip.....

When posting in the forum remain polite and professional at all times. If you keep your cool there is only going to be one person that looks unprofessional and that won't be you.


PS. I am not a hater I just like to be fair and share my experiences.

Really, well this was just a paypal payment from here, so no clickbank involved, and as for being simple. I asked Casey for a refund under his 60 day guarantee, and his reply was:

Yeah, I agree thats really sly in my opinion. I don't know why it is so hard to refund unhappy customers within the satisfaction guarantee.

I also was not honored a refund when I asked for it within the refund period.

If you used a credit card you can do a charge back for faulty software. Just call your bank, it is obviously a legit claim if your account/software does not work. For me, the software does not work at all.

Report received -- but the questions seem reasonable to me. It says 14 days now, but a week ago the identical URL said 60 days. I'm not finding any mention of different guarantee lengths depending on whether they pay with PayPal or Clickbank; did I miss something? Did something change recently?

The wso was originally sold through paypal directly with a 14 day guarantee. To the public I'm under the impression it was clickbank. After some time all the sales including wso went through clickbank, which means a 60 day refund guarantee by default supplied by clickbank.

The problem with paypal is that you cannot win a escalated dispute for virtual goods as a buyer, there is no buyer protection for virtual goods. The only way is for the seller to willingly honor the refund or a cc chargeback (or lying to paypal which is not worth it and illegal). I don't know why the seller is saying it's as easy as contacting paypal :confused:

Anyhow, I'm not looking to argue. Hope this clarifies the situation for you.

Now, as ALWAYS the Paypal is 14-DAY Refund Guarantee.

Is now, that way, and always has been. Ask anyone that has purchased from paypal, and also ask anyone who has paid with clickbank.

Clickbank Makes you offer a 60 day guarantee.

But if I've ever accepted Paypal, it's ALWAYS been 14 days. Always. Ask the normal buyers. =)

I don't think Ken or I or any other mod cares what your standard policy is. The sales copy I just saw in Google's cache says 60 days. Nothing about seperate time periods.

You can change the terms all you want, but only for people buying after they're changed. The previous customers have, according to your own words, 60 days.

Ken was being polite, but you seem determined to continue in this path. I'm locking this until it's been handled.
