Reserved for ME...!!!!

LOL!

Actually just wanted to take this post and give everyone an update on the pricing...

I'm a HUGE fan of WSO's that OVER-deliver...so I've started the price on this really low...too low to be honest.

However, I think this is something Warriors will find useful...and I want alot of people to read it!

This is set to run as an old school "Dime Sale", so the price will go up a shiny DIME with every sale...

Thanks,

Ed

Ed, I've got to tell you that you totally over-delivered on this. I expected a few short videos and a PDF. What I received was an entire course on setting up and running your kindle ebook business.

The videos have been set out nicely, professionally created and easy to follow and understand.

For the price, this is a no-brainer!!

Cheers buddy.

While the product is about "Pathetic Little Kindle Ebooks"...there is nothing pathetic about this product.

And this is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Kindle Publishing...

I've got a lot more info coming soon.

Just a quick update....

Thought I'd show you what happened with those same 4 "Pathetic Little Kindle Ebooks" over the last 24 hours.

41 Sales of these 4 "Pathetic Little Kindle Ebooks" in the last 24 hours....

That comes to $14.35, which I know is NOT a lot of money....

But what about $15/day for a MONTH?

That's $450 of PASSIVE Income...

I did NOTHING yesterday with these ebooks...I haven't done anything with them since they were published...

Well, besides check my stats.

Again....I haven't even included my UK sales in this example.

I'm just trying to give you an estimate of what can be done with just a FEW "Pathetic Little Kindle Ebooks"...and just a few hours of effort.

Have a great day!

Ed

Yes, that is not a problem.

I believe the only issue you may have is Amazon will pay your royalties by check, unless you have a US-based bank account.

So if you live in the UK and only have a UK-based bank, then Amazon just mails you a check instead of direct deposit.

From what I've read Amazon is working to fix this. They've made some adjustments to the Kindle Direct Publishing system of late...like changing the name to KDP....the UK direct deposit issue is another issue they are working on.

I'm not in the UK, so I'm basing all of this on what I've read....so if someone reading this has any experience - feel free to chime in.

From what I have read, I believe anyone in any country can publish. The only thing is that if you are not in the US they will tax you 30% before paying you...if I understand correctly.

Hi Ed,thanks for the detailed reply,I'm sure Amazon will want to make it easier for non US publishers to sell via Kindle and i'm sure i can make this worthwhile with just the UK market in the meantime.I'm in! Also, thanks sunnybeach for the input,I was afraid i might get hammered with the 30% tax...add that to the UK 50% higher rate tax and there's not much left...guess i'll have to crank out Kindle books at speed!!

This is so tempting! You give the feel you know what you're talking about.

I have an ebook that I've been trying to get onto Kindle for weeks now, but I run into trouble converting my Table of Contents to anchor texts. I put it up originally with the Table of Contents, saw what a disaster it was, took it down, but am so frustrated with getting it converted to anchor texts. Oh, Well! Soon . . . .

I give that "feel" because I do KNOW what I'm talking about...

Just saying...

As far as your problems with the table of contents, when I publish to Kindle - I use a very simple Microsoft Word template.

That template isn't included in this WSO....I was saving it for my membership site.

However, if that is all that is holding some people (like yourself) from publishing their work on Kindle...then it's something I will upload to the Members Area of THIS WSO.

I want to see others succeed.

Whether it be with this "Pathetic Little Kindle Ebooks" method....or in another fashion.

Those reading this....

Please let me know - If having a template for Kindle is holding you back, tell me....and I'll make mine part of this WSO.

Thanks,

Ed

Do you cover on which subjects one should look at writing a book on?

Do you have to have any special software or programs to make this work?

A template would be helpful. I've published a few eBooks to Kindle (under psyeudonyms, due to the niches), and I've always just let the Kindle publishing system do the conversion for me. I know how to put affiliate links in my Word documents that I use to publish books on Kindle, but I have NO IDEA how to make the table of contents clickable. I'm going to buy this, probably tonight, but just an FYI, a template would be AWESOME!

In the videos and PDF, I talk about finding topics to write on.

I also give you some of the tricks and tools I use to SPY on Amazon...this way you can understand how to research, and eventually you will start to find your own profitable topics.

Having said that...there is no "golden goose".

I cannot hand you a book guaranteed to sell a MILLION copies...no one can.

If they could, they'd spend their time relaxing on the beach drinking pina coladas with JK Rowling and Oprah...LOL!

No software needed....

Unless you consider the template software...and it looks like I will be uploading that to the Members Area shortly.

Hi Piper!

Good to hear from you....

Sounds like you do many things that I do...I have several "pen names" and the Kindle Direct system combined with my template has made things simple and easy for me when it comes to publishing.

My TOC is clickable in the template, which is a big help and something most Kindle customers want and have come to expect these days.

When I saw these comments, I was actually working on adjusting the template some so it's ready for upload for those who grab this.

I had a version I used, but needed to clean it up some. As soon as I can get it ready, it will be uploaded and added to the download area.

It may take a day or so, because I am also going to have to make a quick instructional video to go along with it so that y'all know how to use it. Otherwise it could be a pain in the butt for those not familiar with how it works.

Should be in there soon though...

I'll try to send out an email letting everyone know when it's ready. And I'll post it here in the WSO as well!

Take care,

Ed

Okay...I'm going to bed and plan on sleeping in....so I figured I'd post this now.

Just so everyone is clear - I have decided to add my Kindle template(with linked Table of Contents) to this WSO.

I've never actually sold it, but it's easily worth DOUBLE, maybe more like TRIPLE, the cost of this WSO right now.

Nighty-nite,

Ed

Thanks George!

I will have the template up sometime this weekend. Have to make a how-to video to go along with it, so everyone will know how to use it.

There will be NO additional charge for it. Everyone who snags this will see it in the Downloads Area.

This sounds very good considering there's no promotion necessary. Is there any way around this 30% tax?

I have no idea if a 30% tax even exists.

I'm not a UK publisher, and the information I was able to find said nothing of a 30% tax for UK publishers.

You also have to be very careful when reading about this on articles you find on Google, because Amazon has made alot of changes recently to the Kindle Direct Publishing platform.

Lots of the the information out there is outdated and incorrect...written in the early days of Kindle....

The only info I have been able to cite is that UK publishers will be paid by CHECK, unless they have a US bank account.

I'm not saying it's NOT true...but the person who added info about the "30% tax" didn't seem to have any definitive info on it...it was just something they had "read".

I will do some more research on this and see what I can find. If anyone else KNOWS the answer, post it here.

I'm sorry for not having the answer, but I've NEVER had to deal with any issues in all of my extensive work on Kindle.

That's great new Ed - and I hadn't even realised there might be a problem with a TOC, clickable or not! Any such hurdles that can be flattened out are always very useful.

Cheers!

The template is for Microsoft Word...

However, it works for OpenOffice...but with one little thing I don't know how to figure out.

That is how to get rid of the pages numbers on the TOC.

Kindle is starting to incorporate page numbers anyway...so it's not quite a big problem.

An old version of Word is probably best though....for both my template and Kindle in general.

Hey Ed,

1. You say that this is not about PLR. Then you say that there is a correct way to use PLR.

2. Since I'm not a writer, are you going to teach how to write a book in the WSO?

Thanks.

Good questions...

There are times when I use PLR...in fact, here in my office today, I published a "Pathetic Little Kindle Ebook" using some PLR as part of a case study.

When I talk negatively about PLR and Kindle, it is more about the tactic of taking PLR and uploading it "as-is" to Kindle and hoping to make money.

If you wanted to, you could use PLR to apply my "Pathetic Little Kindle Ebooks" method to Kindle...like I said earlier, I just did it today (in about 5 hours using the methods I show you).

As for writing, to publish the "Pathetic" books I am talking about here...you don't need to be an award-winning author or anything.

These are books that can often be "compiled" more than written...

None of my books will win me a Pulitzer...that's for sure.

I hope this makes sense...

The stuff about PLR will make more sense when you check out the ebook....

I'm not anti-PLR...however, the technique of simply taking PLR and mass-uploading it to Kindle is something I am against.

That's mostly because it won't make you any MONEY....

Been there, done that.

100 SOLD...

0 LEFT...

FYI - this is not a false scarcity tactic....this WSO ends when it hits 100 sales.

If you don't believe me...wait and see...and be left behind.

Hey Ed.

What is the selling price on Amazon for your best-selling Kindle ebook?

And what commission does Amazon give you for a sale of that ebook? Doesn't Amazon now pay 70% commission on original digital sales? And 35% on public domain material?

Do you recommend taking a PLR ebook and spinning it to make it original?

Do you use WORD or some other text editing software to create your ebooks?

First things first...this WSO only deals with one of the methods I use on Kindle.

Second, by best-selling...Do you mean in terms of copies sold or revenue? Because those are different.

My best-selling ebook using the method I describe in this ebook has sold over 600 copies so far this month...

Amazon pays out 70% on all ebooks priced between $2.99 and $9.99...

They pay a 35% commission on ebooks priced between $0.99 and $2.98...and ebooks $10 & over. This is basic info you can find on Amazon or numerous other places.

You are right, public domain is 35%.

What do you mean by "spinning"?

I've been pretty clear about my opinions about taking PLR and uploading it unchanged to Amazon. I do not suggest it...mainly because it won't make you much money. Sure, you may make a couple sales and feel good for a minute or two...but it won't last.

I'm not totally against using PLR...I've used it in my business. There is just a way to do it properly...and a way that is virtually SPAM and won't make you money.

I use Word...and the template I use is included in this WSO. It also comes with a video explaining how to use it.

Hope these answers help.

I wanted to comeback here and comment on this WSO. I purchased it maybe a week ago, read the pdf and watched the videos several times. Plenty of great info here, well worth the price.

So I put into action what I learned from this WSO and within a week(give or take a day or two), I have made 5 sales from 2 kindle books following the steps I learned from this WSO. 5 sales may not seem like much but it's a start.

Very good WSO that I highly recommend.

Thanks Gary!

5 sales is hopefully just the start. My best-selling Kindle ebook made 6 sales the first week it was online....Amazon is SLOW to start including ebooks in their search and suggestions.

The 2nd week online, it sold 38 copies...

Week 3 it sold 61....then 92....then 161...

The great thing is I've done nothing to it since I took about a day to put it together and publish it.

Hopefully you will see your ebooks take off too.

It's a good sign they are making sales the first week....because in that first 7-10 days, Amazon really does nothing for them. They aren't suggested or listed in the "Those who purchased this ebook also like this..." results.

If you are making sales already, more sales will come as more eyeballs see your ebooks.

Why does it ask for a "secret code" for ordering? Did I miss something?

No...it's just part of the Nanacast system.

Truth be told...there were one or two "Secret Codes" I created in order to give away 3 or 4 copies to some Warriors I know.

It's just a spot to place a coupon code, if you have one.

Thanks - that's what I thought, but wasn't sure. (Some WSO's say you have to enter a code to get the price - wanted to make sure I didn't miss something, that's all).

I have books on Amazon, but never bothered with Kindle so I wouldn't mind doing it now.

Just wanted to let everyone know that the "4 Left" alert is not a fake scarcity technique.

I'll be closing this thing up with 4 more sales...

I'm not one of those guys who let's my WSO's run for months...or years...

You might find that there are a few more people willing to buy this. Seems like you're leaving $ on the table. Highly unlikely that a few Warriors will dilute the kindle platform if you sell more ebooks on the topic.

Is this going to be offered again at a later date? I just saw it today and it's something I'm very interested in purchasing.

Hey everyone....

I put a limit on this WSO so I could move my focus to my upcoming Kindle membership site....but it's taking me a little longer to finish than I expected.

So for those of you who are thirsty for Kindle knowledge....while I keep working....

I've opened the shopping cart up for 10 more sales...

Okay...a quick update.

I will be tied up the next few days in Philadelphia....so I'm going to let this WSO run until I get back home....and then it's over for good.

I'm here 'til Monday....and then the drive home....so I'll keep it open til Monday night/Tuesday morning.

Thanks,

Ed

Ahh, learned to late about your ebook...
Till now I only read those plr kindle tricks which I didn't like.

Any change of a reopening for just a few more customers? I'd love to buy one!

One quick question I had was, "how many words" does the usual "pathetic little ebook" that you write for Kindle? that usually sells for 99 cents. thanks.

ed, the reason i am asking is that for those of us who are not writers; can this system be outsourced? secondly; how long in words do these ebooks have to be? how long do you keep you 99 cent kindle books? thnx so much.
