Interesting book layout and huge resource list. I can see the potential for tapping into this freely available CONTENT.

I look forward to the update with even more tips on monetizing methods, although I already have a few ideas. Just like anything else tho, its refining the idea/marketing and then executing that will take any content to become a money maker.

This WSO will solve the "what content/product can I sell" question for many people (IF they can focus long enough to pick ONE to start with <grin>)

It requires a very long time of hard work.
You need not to get drowned in a sea of information.

Honestly, I don't want to be rude, however I do want to post a reply to your concerns.

I have posted my successes here, several times.

I don't want to repeat myself but:

If you are looking for a business in a box...look elsewhere.

If you think all you have to do is take public domain material and post it to make money you are in for a sad awakening.

However: if you want to use take the public domain and change it a little, add to it, or combine it...you may have a winner.

You can record the material and add the transcripts: Instant Product.

I've done this several times and made money with my products.

I've taken public domain and use it in blog posts, web pages, email updates for my subscribers and made money.

You can take the public domain and easily make a video with Camtasia or other free screen capture recording tools and make money.

But you need to be a little creative.

One of the resources, I discovered through Kneb has saved me hundreds of dollars (hundreds of dollars!) by using free public domain photos.

I use the photos in my blogs, web pages and videos.

And that is just one resource...One!

This resource alone was worth the price...and I happily paid $49, not the current price he is offering.

And I would gladly pay $49 again! Gladly: at $49 it was a steal!

Bottom line: if you get this resource and do nothing: this is worth nothing.
Nothing!

However,

If you claim this resource and do some of the things mentioned in these 1,200+ posts, it is priceless!

(Side bar: Go through all of the posts, there is GOLD contained in this thread! Not all the posts, but you have to mine for the gold contained here...dig deep and you will discover the gold nuggets...)

Thanks Albert; I had read darn near every page, and most positive replies were discussing how much info there was. Info is good, but results are much better. I was more interested in how his material has been implemented.

I agree, free media is good, if its appropriate.

With regards to adding, changing, etc., on the surface, it sounds like more work than simply creating original content. Of all my content pages, I have never used PD, so maybe I have been missing an opportunity, but again, it sounds like it may take more effort.

The IM game has always been about traffic...does his ebook discuss generating traffic via building content?

Google recently lost its way with regards to selling PD material (or at least partial)...how does this possibly affect this material?

Google is moving more towards original and unique content, so in the SEO game, how may PD material be affected?

Purchased this as I've been looking for something on Public Domain for ages.

However, I had trouble downloading the main product - clicking the image took me to a blank page. When I wanted to download it using my download manager it was asking me to save the image. Perhaps you could include a text link as well, the way you did with the bonus products? It's downloading now and I'm looking forward to reading it.

The page is blank because it is loading the massive pdf file. Give it some time to fully load. You can see a download progress circle (on bottom left of page in my case). Alternatively you right click and save the file and open it when it's fully downloaded onto your computer.

Hi guys,

The "much anticipated" Update is almost ready (all the new content is), and I am only waiting for my programmers to finish the new Membership site and the accompanying tools.

It´s just technical thing, and I assume it won´t take too much. Maybe a week, maybe 10 days, but surely not another month. And I can give you my word on this (if that is worth anything : )

Having said that, I´m going to address WHY I haven´t released the Update + the Coaching when I initially announced them:


As most of you already know, I´ve been sick for the most part of the 2 last years.

I´ve been in and out from the hospital and other related facilities, and have been through 2 major relapses in that time.


So to get things clear:

1. The Update was NOT part of the purchase by itself.

This product is evergreen.

However, some links are down, and others are outdated, that´s why I decided to make a new Update, and create a membership site where all the links will be updated when are down, etc...


2. I decided to offer the new Update and also a Group Coaching, as a Bonus.


3. My illness got in the way (2 times). I disappeared. Milestones (release dates) didn´t get honored.


4. Period.



Now I´m alive and well again. I can say I´m finally recovered, at last.

I´m back.

I´m going to honor every promise made and then some.

The faster the better : )




So I am really sorry if some of you have lost faith in me, or have seen these (unfortunate) events as a sign of "lack of reputation".

I understand.

But things are as they are.
