It seems apparent that Kneb is ignoring everyone and his promises for an update. His profile says his last activity date on WF was 2/4/12. That was 2 days ago. I'm sure he's read everything, he's just not replying.

Ok... I know, most of you are really pissed off due to what´s happening with me and the Update, etc...

I´ve even received Paypal disputes and formal WF Infractions from members here... I understand.



First of all, let me say this: I´m deeply sorry for all this awful situation, and I completely understand all your concerns.


My sincerest apologies.



*** I´m gonna be clear and totally open about this, for the first time in the past 3 years (I kind of hate to talk publicly about this, but here we go):


- Many of you know about me being ill (on and off) during these 3 years.


But let´s be more specific (Excuse my grammar, I´m typing fast. I will try to be short and concise):


Talking about this is not an easy thing for me.


Truth is, I´ve been fighting with what doctors call M.C.S. (Multiple Chemical Sensitivity) Syndrome. During the first year I didn´t even know what was happening.

This is some weird (and serious) illness (not funny) to have, and doctors and experts have opposed opinions and treatments. But let´s say I´ve been living the "darkest" years of my life.

It started as "chronic fatigue", and several other symptoms, and ended up being a total intolerance for electronic devices, phones, computers, chemicals, majority of modern foods, etc, etc, etc...

The more time was passing by, the more severe it seemed to be. You feel like total crap, can´t think clearly, strong headaches, you are so tired you want to be in bed all day, but you can´t sleep, etc...


The only think I could go with was the good old paper + pencil...

You have to be "on tour" in search of the "best" doctors, hosp., holistic centers, etc...

Months out of home, totally "disconnected".

Every time I was back in home, feeling "better", I had a new relapse, this time stronger. I started to research and learn everything I could on this, so I could help myself as much as possible, and started to treat myself along the way (doctors don´t know well how to treat this, even the holistic ones).


I won´t go into more depth, but to make a long story short, let´s say I´m very fortunate to be nowadays 90% recovered, this time I feel it´s for real : )

(Many people live with this for years, even for decades, with no solution in sight, and no hope, so I´m getting "lucky").


And you know what´s happened in the meantime... Every time I was back and felt" a bit" better, I came here to say: "Hey, I´m "recovered", the Update will be ready next week, blah, blah, blah... And then I was back again, feeling worst than ever.

As you may have guessed, this is not an usual PDF, and this takes weeks to Update, even if you have the new content in order and ready (design intensive). Which is not excuse at all, but I really wanted to have it well and good finished, not "just average" or "almost but" finished. The most I could update in one go was 4 or 5 pages.

And believe me, I´m totally ashamed for recognizing this, recognizing that I was "not capable".


I could easily have outsourced the entire update and then just forget about this, but I´m not comfortable if I don´t do it by myself (I outsource the technical things and some marketing, but never the product creation, especially content and design)... But anyways, let´s be honest, I had other (urgent) priorities in front of me...

Last 90 days have been really tough. Even more so, after happily announcing here that I was going to release the Update on December 7th



But this has turned to an end last January 27th (my birthday). For Good.


First thing I did when I was back was open my Facebook acc. to say "hi" to friends, and to let them know (at last) I was finally back, great and OK.


I was happily surprised by the number of congratulations and blessings I had already received on my wall (and through PM´s) from many of you and people from this forum (you can check my Wall), and I was very close to tears (don´t know if that is correct in english, sorry : )



So thank you again to all of you that sent me blessings that day. You really don´t know how much that meant for me : )



And to everyone of you that are pissed off, I totally understand how you feel (I would probably feel a bit angry, too, in the same situation).

Okay... If you still are here with me, let´s forget the "dark" times, and let´s talk about the now, from today.



But let me first be clear on something:


This (all of the above) is not an excuse, it is just what happened.


--- This is not something I´m proud of. I´m totally pissed off.


Talking about business, if you think about it, NO ONE wants a situation like this. No business owner wants this.


Even though my PD based businesses went going really well, I´ve lost many valuable things during these 3 years here.


You know, 3 years ago, I went from a total "nobody" in this forum (no reputation, no nothing), to (in less than a month from posting my first and only WSO) having thousands (and a big List) of happy buyers (friends), great connections with some big names in the IM game, juicy JV´s on sight, launch partners, big projects, etc, etc... From out of the blue.


My WSO was (at the time) one of the biggest bestsellers of ALL times here @ the WF.


So no... nobody wants to screw that : )


Nobody wants to ignore that.


This has been a sort of "nightmare" to me, if anything...


I´ve lost LOTS of money, lots of friends, lots of partners, lots of subscribers, lots of customers (you know, OTO´s, backend products, upsells, coachings, launches, new products, JV´s)... lost lots of anything... but worst of all:



I lost your faith and respect.




Money and business are easy to recoup, but respect? That´s harder to recover.

The 2012 Update:




So... I´ll stop talking about me and blah blah blah, and let´s focus on you, and what I promised since 3 years ago, The Update + Bonuses, plus Coaching.




1. Even though a 3-year delay seems a very bad thing, there is a (very) positive side: Now you will get a totally up-to-date, tried and tested content and business models that WORK now for me (and partners), in 2012.

2. You are gonna get the Best Purchased Product Ever (for the price you paid, at least : ) I can guarantee that.

3. You are gonna get not just 1 update, but 3x Updates. I´m gonna include 2x more advanced content, not supposed to be included in this "entry-level" WSO.

But we don´t sell "crap", we sell Art. Good Old Art, something the world needs back right now, Back By Popular Demand. (Think Amazon´s new publishing policies, just one example).

That being said, not sure why you would once again come on and promise to deliver in a "Few Days" yet once again.

Better to get the job done and then come on and say "Here It Is.... Sorry for the delay as I have been very ill, but here is the product I have promised for the last three plus years"....

I, just like so many others, purchased your original work many years ago and have been waiting for the Free update. I am on your mailing list. Being asked to produce the original Paypal transaction receipt is just not going to happen for a lot of us. Paypal history does not go back that far and like you, most of us have had many things going on in our lives. Moves, computer updates, hard drive crashes, etc.

Of course I still have the log in info for the original product.... And you can find me on your mailing list.

What do you plan to do for folks like me that have been waiting for this?

I have tried to go back a YEAR in Paypal with no luck.... So going back 4 years is just not happening....

On top of that, being in IM, I have have multiple accounts, sold some companies off and the Paypal account went with them.

Currently I have four companies and each has it's own Paypal account. Have sold two companies in the last 12 months and 6 during that time span of what we are talking about.

No idea what account I used during that time to make the purchase AND since Paypal won't let me look that far back that is moot anyway.

As I said above, I am on Kneb's mailing list, so that should be enough as the people that are on that list are people that purchased the product.

You didn't say multiple accounts that you didn't have anymore. You can go as far back as you like in any account you have, but it's not as easy or intuitive as it could be.

OK, wasn't gonna get back in this because some people would rather belly ache than
take any action at all to help themselves. Because of just TWO PARAGRAPHS in Kneb's ORIGINAL work I purchased 3 old magazines on Ebay for around $10 bucks at my door. I had checked in advance and found out all three were extinct publications and the copyrights had not been renewed. From those I checked out the classifieds in the back and some of the ads throughout. That led to a couple of new Amazon affiliate product sites, ideas for three Kindle books and provided fodder for a bunch of new posts for a site I had let languish. This stuff isn't rocket science but you do have to develop a feel for it. If you can't see opportunity knocking in the original no update is going to help you.

I know how difficult it is to make a comeback. It's so hard to work up the courage after being knocked down by a debilitating illness. I had a successful 20 year career in real estate when I was diagnosed with Lupus 3 years ago. My body was covered with itchy disgusting sores and I was told that I would be in a wheelchair within a year. Fortunately, I have a wonderful husband, family and friends that never gave up hope, especially when I really wanted to. Their prayers, patience and support brought me through some pretty dark times and I too am now almost fully recovered.
Hardships have a way of stripping away the superficiality of life and revealing what is really important. Then, with God's help, we can learn to press beyond our own abilities and find the miracles that were hidden in us all along. I will pray for your continued well being and I look forward to seeing what glorious new things will rise up from you because you have come through such a trial.

I agree completely with you. This kind of life lessons push you beyond your own limits, to the point to express "miracles" (we all have amazing capabilities inside, but we are educated to be "just ordinary" from childhood).

And when you overcome them, you are so empowered and grateful for things in life that you truly become a new person.

Even if you don't come up with the update, I want to thank your for the first report. I bought it twice. I lost my first copy on a hard drive that crashed.

But I thought enough of your info to buy another copy!

It has enabled me to make money, and I can't tell you how grateful I am for your knowledge.

We all have periods in our lives when we sometimes just can't function the way we would like. This is no sin. It is reality.

Thank you for the update, what a horrible time you have had, horrible does not even start to say how bad it must have been. Hope you are truly better now and can move on with your life doing the things you really want to do, not visiting doctors etc...

This Book is gonna be remarkable (to say the least), so there´s no point in precipitance or urgency now.

If I feel I want to add more relevant data, I do.

If I feel I´m going to include more advanced content (from the Elite Membership), I do.



I´m here, I´m not going anywhere. I won´t disappear again.

I suggest to have a bit (more) patience.

2. Research: Observe these Kindle ("easy selling") type of books:

You can do it better.


4. Now, that´s a simple translation of just one German philosopher PD collection of works (Nietzsche). No more... No less...


5. But: take a look at some of the lowest rated reviews:







6. See?? You can do it better. Way better.

Just make sure the layout and the edition is impressive (professional typesetting).

Observe winners. Then do it better.

People want Quality. Crap is dead.


7. Another example? Sherlock Holmes. This is a bestselling topic right now, (Hollywood helps, a lot):







8. But take a look @ that cover (oh, my)...

Such a BAD cover will ruin your business.

Create/purchase a Quality Cover.

DESIGN converts before any content or copy. And usually converts better.

Design Matters.



9. See? You can do better. Way better.


10. More advice:

Who said Public Domain is "dead" on Kindle? WRONG.

Who said Public Domain works have to be "free" on Kindle? WRONG.


Amazon and readers just want QUALITY.

People demands quality. And they will pay for it IF quality is present.

Quality Design.
Quality Layout.
Quality Content (this is supplied by the PD work itself).

So no more uploading famous PD "As-Is" books ...

And no more 2000-ish crappy "design" covers (please : )


Instead, in 2012 we need new and more quality "Book Editions":

Just wanted to say, "Welcome Back" and glad that you
are doing much better. I worked with you on the WSO,
wrote the copy, etc. when this first launched and came
in and out in between everything that you had going on.

I never knew exactly what was going on - but I did know
that whatever it was, it was serious.

It shows a lot that you have come back here time and
time again trying to get the update out. I know that we
spoke about this massive update many, many times and
it's clearing something that you are very excited and
passionate about.

So nice to see you back - I have been subscribed to this
thread for 3 years now! This has to be one of - if not the
longest running active WSO's today.

Thanks Kneb. I don't think I put my query very clearly. What I meant was who actually does the "Kindle Illustration and Annotation" of a public domain book or set of books so that they are Ok for Kindle and not just a PD book as is.

As for Kindle this is where I'm currently making my $$$. But with original material. Read the TOS very carefully if you plan to put public domain material up there. You get one shot with breaking their TOS and you can't get a new account if they terminate you. Well you can get a second account but you can figure out how to do that. I know people who have lost their accounts using PD. But if you read the TOS and follow their requirements you'll be o.k. Now whether you'll sell old PD on Kindle without knowing the tricks of the trade and mechanics of Amazon Kindle is an entirely different story.

Welcome Back. Please don't let the whiners deter you! I have only a slight idea of what you have been dealing with. In March of "11 I had urinary surgery that put my entire life on hold. I was told I would be back at work in 4 weeks, it's been almost a year and I am still not able to function well enough to work in an office 40 hrs a week.

There have been days that I can hardly function and days when I feel nearly almost normal, just enough to fool me into thinking I am normal again! So for all you critics out there, this man IS DOING HIS BEST with what he has to work with. Give him some breathing room.

All of us here who have been blessed with good health should be thankful we even saw the first editon of Kneb's WSO. That alone has been a literal goldmine. Based on my knowledge of what he is capable of, the next release will be worth the wait. And if he says he is doing it, I believe in GOOD FAITH he will...!!
