Hello,

Remember, just because a theme or an SEO plugin like All In One SEO Pack says that your title is only 55 characters (for example) does not mean this is necessarily true.

You may enter your Title like this...

Here is an Example of a Title For Your Wordpress Post or Page (61 characters)

But the theme or plugin may add "additional" characters or words to your title (making it longer)...

Here is an Example of a Title For Your Wordpress Post or Page | Site Name (73 characters)

IMPORTANT: While you thought your Title was only 61 characters (because that is what All In One SEO Pack or some other plugin or theme tells you), your Title is really 73 characters. As a result, Easy WP SEO displays a red X next to “Title contains up to 66 characters” because your Title is 73 characters long, which is more than 66 characters.

After you download the Easy WP SEO User Guide, take a look at the Troubleshooting section (section 9).

If there is an inscription <<em>strong> after you press the update button on your pages, turn off easy wp seo 1.5. I experienced it and settled after turn it off.

Yes, this is an issue with automatic decorations on posts or pages without at least one primary keyword. This is corrected in version 1.6 that is almost ready for release.

This looks like the sickest on-page SEO plugin I've seen as of yet. I've just got a few questions. There's seem to be a huge amount of additional factors this considers compared to similar competing products, is it perhaps a little overkill? Secondly, does this also check the H2 and H3 tags?

For a guy that is just now learning SEO this plugin is AMAZING! I just purchased it and realized that my posts/pages weren't SEO optimized like I thought they were. I went from 15-40% to 90-100% optimized. This plug-in is top of the line. It's the second WSO I've ever bought and I couldn't be more impressed. Wish I would have picked it up earlier (and it would've been cheaper :p) but it's worth well more than the price I paid.

Hey Chris,

Is there any way that you can mod the plugin to install over the previous version you have on your website. From what it looks, you have to remove the previous version and then install it or use an FTP and write over the previous version.

This change would be great so I can replace the previous version from my admin panel.

Chris, I sent you a support ticket a couple of days ago, but it hasn't been updated, so I'll post my issue here:


Great plugin. However, I'm experiencing a conflict with another plugin I'm
using - WP SEO Links , a link cloaker which uses DOMRewrite. If I run both
plugins together, yours hangs on a page/post edit screen, so that the
interface doesn't load in the top right-hand corner as it should. The only
way I can run Easy WP SEO it is to deactivate the link cloaker, then
re-activate when I'm finished.

Not a major problem, but a bit of a nuisance...

Don't know if you're able to do anything about what appears to be this plugin conflict your end...

Run into a minor hicup with the "Meta Description meta tag begins with keyword." which is crossed despite the meta description starting with a keyword. Any ideas?

Hi Chris,
I sent an email to sales@ last week and did not get a response.
I purchased your product 2 weeks ago and I love it. I am having one significant issue though. I use the popular Wordpress SEO plugin by Yoast WordPress SEO Plugin - Search Engine Optimization Plugin - Yoast (this is the recommended plugin for Auto Blog Blueprint members), and when I enter anything in the “Description” field for the Yoast plugin Easy WP SEO hangs perpetually. Are you aware of this issue? Do you have a fix?

With your investment in the WSO, you get the "multi-site" license, which allows you to use Easy WP SEO on an unlimited number of sites you "personally" own.

If you want to use Easy WP SEO on your clients' sites, then you need to upgrade to a "developer's" license.

Don't have any clients? Then the multi-site license is all that you need.

Just bought. Looks like the perfect blog plugin for SEO. Easy WP SEO; cost me more than WP SEO Beast (wish I found it earlier. Can't believe it was at $5!!!) but I guess at least I am thankful you've still left it at 37 and it's not $97+

My goodness. I looked through the sales page and I am shocked.

It feels as if I'm being assaulted with value. LSI software alone can cost $147. Jeeze.

I'm glad I didn't pay $4.95 or whatever for this plugin. I honestly wouldn't be happy. I'd feel like a thief. I normally feel cheated by price rises, but not in this case.

Just one question though, regarding the H1 tag. Doesn't the title become H1 tagged when the article is posted?

Not all Wordpress themes automatically include the post or page title in an H1 tag. That is one big reason why Easy WP SEO is so different from other plugins. It actually analyzes the post or page to make sure your content includes the post/page title in an H1 tag instead of assuming it does or forcing you to select a checkbox in the plugin settings.

To my knowledge, Easy WP SEO is the only Wordpress plugin that actually analyzes the entire content of the HTML document for on-page SEO factors, instead of just your post or page title and content.

Hey Chris,

I love your plug in.. Its killer!! I did send a support ticket, I am getting <em><strong> at the beginning of my post. I can't get rid of these tags, I delete and they show back up?? Now when I turn off the decorations tab, then it goes away, but then it will not bold, underline, italics my posts.. Is version 1.6 coming out soon to fix this glitch? Yes, version 1.6 corrects the issue with the strange characters at the beginning of the post if a primary keyword is not entered and the "admin-side" automatic decoration feature is enabled.

I am doing the final tests on version 1.6, and I will release it soon.
