It depends on how many posts or pages you make to use with the plugin. If you're just using one post then yes, it will just make 50. The best way to use it is to make multiple posts so you can increase your clients visibility.

If I'm leasing sites on domains that I own, and not flipping them, will the personal use license suffice or will I need the developer's license? Also, is there any guarantee?

1) If clients have html site not wordpress site, can we still use this plug in ?

2) How long will the website get ranked on page 1 before dropping to 2nd page from your experience ? We have to continue building backlinks as usual, right ?

EDIT: I should say that I beat Jeremy in indexing... but I cheated he just didn't know that LOL
Did a bunch of blog comments with the sitemap.xml as the link roflmao. Wasn't going to tell him but oh well...

1. This is a wordpress plugin so it will only work on wordpress. With that being said though, if you're a bit creative, you can still install wordpress and benefit from this on your clients domain. (I'll send an email in a few days with tips on how I'm doing this to people that have purchased the plugin)

2. In my experience, I have not seen a drop in rankings for any of the keywords targeted. There might be some areas where you might need a few backlinks to just solidify your rank but you'll see right out of the gate most of your pages will shoot straight to the first page because of how well optimized they are for that area.

Does it make any difference what the domain name is. Does an exact match domain name help in any way or would say a generic name about insurance work as well.

I guess what I am asking is if we are targeting fifty cities in a state would we need 50 different web sites or would we be able to target all 50 cities with 1 site?

The WP plugin could be ideal for some local sites which have been difficult to rank but I have a few questions:

Does the WP plugin rank your site on its own or does it need to be supported with solid backlinking?

Google dancing etc apart, how long can the WP plugin maintain the local ranking or, put another way, what would you need to do to maintain the ranking?

Is the plugin's suitability restricted to USA only?

Most of my clients have professional branding sites (but poorly SEO'd sites) so would not want to redo their site or have something else that replaces their site. I assume this could be added to the site as a blog in another folder and then I just link the Places page to the SEO's blog page? So in otherwords I could just use this as a Places "landing page" instead of using the site homepage to help boost rankings in the new merged listings???

Big Q for me because I don't like nor have the time to build sites/blogs.

From a total time standpoint. If launching a new site for client, it would require 1) Buy domain 2) Set up hosting 3) Install Wordpress 4) Install this plugin. 5) Create content

Is that correct? If so that's still more steps and time than I have time to do.

But I'll still buy it for research purposes to see what it's all about.

Oh and to the OP that asked if you can upgrade to developer later? It's 10 bucks difference, just do it! :rolleyes:

The beauty of this plugin is that you're able to target all 50 cities with 1 site and do it in a matter of 10 minutes or so.

In the dentist example from the original post, the only backlinking that was done was to submit the site to a few bookmarks which I did with social bot, I think.... So, to date, the SEO that has been needed for initial rankings has been VERY LITTLE.

As far as google dances and that kind of stuff, you typically won't see It because you aren't doing the things that typically cause your site to dance.

I bought the plugin but I do have a question about the whole duplicate content question... My understanding is that dupe content is for content that is all on one site. If the posts/pages are the same content with only the little bit of info changed, how will that not be slammed by Google eventually? Just trying to understand...

this looks like a cool little plugin, and I am helping a friend with his local business, so this looks like a nice addition.

However just a couple questions if you dont mind:

1. You say it can target 50 cities. Does that mean there are only 50 pre-programmed into it, and we cant add more, or specific, cities into it?

I live in a rural area, and my friend wont want to rank for any big cities - just ours and surrounding cities.


2. What constitutes a "geotargeted" or local search?

Is it the addition of a city name in the search?

Or does google have a set of keywords ie dentist,insurance,lawn care that if searched for will include local results?

Basically what I am getting at, is , can this be used to get the same rankings for non-local sites?

Yes it works with any plugin that allows you to set the Title, Description, Keywords, etc.

No, the plugin is not limited to a country. It can work in any city and any country, even in different languages.

It comes with some cities pre-programmed but it's just to give you an idea of how to setup the cities, in the dashboard for the plugin you can put in which specific cities you want. It's as easy as copy and paste.

As far as a geotargeted search, it simply just means any search that includes a local modifier, such as city, town, or zipcode.

I've received traffic from searches where they use a zipcode instead of a city but my city page still shows up even though I don't mention specific zipcodes in my pages.

But I only use it exclusively for local sites.

The way the plugin works, it's not really dependent on the theme so it should work no matter what theme you have. I have not tested with SEO Pressor but I have with a similar plugin sold here on WF and it worked fine so I don't see why it wouldn't.

There's some instances where you might have to save the draft more than once but that should take care of the problem.

I've tried to push it to the limit and have not run into a situation where I used too many cities. I even tested it with every single city in the state of Florida and it worked fine.

on one of the tests we did, I used 150 cities and towns...so, I'm not sure if there is a "breaking point", but it's handled everything that we've thrown at it.
