So the new plug in is great, I am having the issue with excluding the pages option not being available with the draft. Im guessing there's another plug in to make a bulk change to all my pages, or if maybe Im blind and the options available, without individually updating

I've run however into an issue with the spinning. The first line of the body copy is spinnened. However rest of the article (after adsense code and graphic) is not spinned.

Any sugestions? btw the theme I do use is headway.

Eating my lunch and reading through this thread- will be downloading the updated script in a few minutes. I've got some pages ranking already, and some traffic doing what I need it to. But man there are some amusing people on here, since when did the WF get so dumb. I know this will probably get deleted, but hey ho

"So I've been on the WF for 5 years, and I've tried buying every WSO under the sun and they don't seem to magically make any money appear. So I'm going to agressively ask a million questions to make sure this script is actual magic, and it will rank me at #1 for 'dentist USA'. And even then I will ask more questions because I'm terrified that this script might need to be used in conjunction with something called a "business plan", or a "strategy".

Not that I want to get my hands dirty doing any actual 'work'- no no- I need to know that my VA will know how to use this before I've even bought it, that I can literally buy the thing (through my own affiliate link of possible), and from the comfort of my bed someone else can do something with it and make money appear in my bank account. In fact, buying the thing is in itself too much effort, so I need to find a way that I can get someone else to press the button for me. I want the author to personally come round to my home, and set it up for me, then I want to instantly create 100,000 pages for every town in the word, all of which will rank at once, and be guaranteed 100% that Google, one of the biggest and most powerful corporations in the world, doesn't notice that I've put adsense on each page.

So, to sum up, my entire plan for buying this product is to cause as much hassle as possible, irritate other forumites, do as little work as possible and have an absolute cast iron guarnteee that it'll work, forever on it's own, and that it'll make me rich.

And then i'll ask for a refund"

Back to being serious. Great plugin OP. As I said, I've slotted it into some of my existing sites and it's helping some clients rank better in their towns here in the UK. We've had 1 lead today for my replacement windows client, so he's really happy- still waiting on the scaffolding company- but I make £1000 for every sale they make, so I can be patient. Here's hoping the update is even better!

I haven't had a chance to watch the video yet but someone mentioned 3000 pages so I need to ask this question.

Is there a point at which WP won't function as well because there are too many pages? I've never made a huge site with WP but I would figure at some point there would be a lot of drag on the system which would negatively affect the loading time or capability to process things well or properly.

Would some type of WP cache plugin be needed and/or sufficient?

If this is addressed in the video I'll find out in a couple of hours anyway but just wanted to throw the question out there before making plans that will blow up my site

Andres, Jeremy, or Don will have a better idea, but from what I understood from the video and playing around with it a bit... you can individually update the pages OR use the "delete all pages/posts" function in the draft (see the caution on doing that below), then create new pages/posts with the same draft. Use the same draft so your urls stay the same.

To my understanding, the functionality to amend posts/pages isn't available in the updated version. The new version does not overwrite onto posts/pages, it only creates new ones. So we have three options: two involve deleting the pages.

Option 1: Manually update each page, one by one. (Not fun if there are alot of pages).

Option 2: Manually delete all pages you'd like to update, then (using the original draft w/ your revisions included) create new pages. Remember it doesn't overwrite any posts/pages it only creates new ones, so delete all posts/pages you originally created with that draft or you'll end up with duplicate posts/pages. Also make sure to use the same draft you used to create the original posts/pages... that way the same urls are used.

Option 3: Same as option 2, except you'd use the "delete all posts/pages" button located in the draft you'd like to update. The only thing with this option, is that you'd need to make sure you know what posts or pages are associated with that draft because it deletes EVERYTHING associated with it. That part is stressed thoroughly in the new video.

After watching the new video I have a question. If you were just working with 10 cities in the same state and you create 3 shortcodes: city, state, and long state would you have to in each shortcode add data to match up? For ex. enter the 10 cities, enter 10 separate lines of state abbreviation and 10 full names of the state. Or do you have to do the above only if you are using multiple cities from different states. Hope this makes sense.

Great job of listening to customer requests and suggestions and upgrading the plugin to integrate the features we were asking for.

There are updates, then there is THIS UPDATE. The plugin has moved from Awesome to 'Super-Awesome'. Seriously, they added so much more functionality to an all ready cool product. If you use Wordpress for any online marketing, this is a must have.

Hi

You need to add pages or posts in limited amounts to avoid causing problems with a single WP installation. I think adding 200 or less at once will go fairly smoothly, adding more can cause configuration problems. Also if errors are made you have some control over the limited number of posts or pages. I think 3000 pages on one WP installation using shared hosting will cause problems with speed and functionality. If you use dedicated servers this is not a problem. Otherwise use an EMD with sub-domains or sub-directories, put a 1000 pages or less on each installation, otherwise if you monetize with adsense or similar you may lose out due to page load times. It may be an idea to use a WP Cache plugin plus Minify to avoid issues.

Of course single domains with 3000 pages producing page 1 rankings and having passive income can be flipped after a couple of months for a substantial sum. Real Estate, Accountantcy, Dentistry, Insurance etc $10,000 a month from flipping alone. But you must buy the developers licence to go that route.

Another point is wait 3 - 4 weeks for the local rankings to settle position, those not on Page 1 for more competitive keywords need syndicating to Web 2 properties and a few article directories. Make use of the free social bookmarking and RSS feed sites. If necessary get .edu and .gov links from fiverr. All will then be on page one. Most local sites have little or no authoritive links so rankings will remain. Duplicate content is not an issue on local listings it's a myth. Just use the same content for everything. I've been doing it a long time and never had a problem. In any event spinning often causes poor grammar and unreadable articles which will never be completely unique anyway. I've never found it necessary.

This really is the easiest money spinner there is even for the newbie, take the time to get your head around it and the possibilities are endless. You can more or less pick the keyword phrase out of the air providing it's related to the content and still get good local traffic, and of course Page 1 rankings. The Google keyword tool has very little accuracy for local searches and the content will contain many LSI keywords that you are not even aware of thereby exponentially increasing traffic.

Maybe the creators can create a forum, we can then move forward together with proven strategies. I can create one if anyone is interested.

Thanks for an awesome plugin. Love it.

My problem is with my hosting not the plugin, and I'm posting it here instead because I believe the solution will help others. If I'm wrong about that let me know and I'll take this down.

I'm trying to publish ~850 pages {29 keywords x 29 cities} but I'm running into a server timeout at even 100 pages. Turns out Hostgator has a hard-coded 30-second limit for script execution. Their suggested workaround is to upgrade to VPS or Dedicated, which I'm not too keen on.

I know a lot of us use hostgator and a few of us LPNs are going for 100+ "cities." Is anyone else having this time-out problem with hostgator?

I tried using the post limiter on LPN2, but it seems that if I limit the number of pages to publish, say to 50 out of 850, then go back and publish again it's not going to publish 51-100 the second time, it's going to re-publish the first fitty, correct?

So my solution so far, and hopefully someone has a better idea, is to just create keyword lists of 50 lines and publish 17 LPN drafts.

Any other suggestions?

I think this is great plugin as well, but like one of my fellow members I can't get the spinning to work for the life of me (done in TBS so I know the spintax is spot on)...

Any thoughts / work arounds?

If you are copying and pasting a piece of content from say...an article directory, into your spinner, then into LPN - That is where your problem lies...In many cases, when you copy and paste from somewhere like EZA, little pieces of "code" get carried over to a spinner...such as TBS, and then cause problems when trying to spin with LPN.

Try typing something straight into your spinner, then COPY AND PASTE THAT INTO THE HTML MODE IN WORDPRESS and see if it works.

You will have this problem with shared hosting as already stated, if you are going to take this seriously and wish to publish pages and posts in that quantity then you need to upgrade to a dedicated server. Otherwise you will need a number of drafts and publish the cities from your list 50 at a time. Takes a little longer but not the end of the world. Easier just to upgrade or use sub-folders with WP installations.

For spinning you need to copy and paste into Text Pad or similar and remove any offending code. Copying from Word documents will also cause problems. Then add the spintax copy and paste into the html.

First of all, thanks Andres, Jeremy, and Don for bringing this little baby to the market. With the power if this plugin it would've been easy for you guys to keep this to yourselves. So thank you, for that. And for the updates and customer support you've offered here. It hasn't gone unnoticed.

Now stop selling it! Lol.

In regards to the new update...fantastic job! Not only is it more convenient in functionality but it seems less buggy than the previous one. I don't know how many times I had to keep hitting save draft just to get it to fill in all of the {city} fields in AIO. Or the amount of page/posts that had to be deleted because it was stripping the {city} and leaving a blank field. But even with those issues the plugin was still worth it.

None of those issues are showing up with the new update, so good job! :-)

My wishlist for tweaks to the new version:

1) In the Local Pages area (when writing a draft):

* Include the "exclude pages" plugin checkbox for themes that do not support custom menus.

* Include "Page Attributes" and "Discussion" functionality under "Screen Options" when in Local Pages (like it is if we were doing a "regular" page).

That way we'd have the ability to turn comments off or edit page layouts in certain themes - like the "one page, no sidebar" option in the Twenty Ten theme - without needing to edit each individual page (which can be quite overwhelming with even just 50 pages... let alone 200+).

2) Spinnable post/page title. Not sure if it's a wordpress limitation, but it would be nice to have.

One benefit is it would make 'related posts' under the content and posts listed on the sidebar, look different and more natural. I know it's about the main keyword like: dog trainers in dallas tx, but what if our article title is {Choosing|Looking for|Finding} Dog Trainers in Dallas Tx? Or Dog Trainers in Dallas, Tx: {What you Need to Know|Choosing the Best One|Here's the Scoop}. You get the idea... it would be nice to mix them up.

The new version of the plugin is great as it is. It does what it's supposed to do... and that's the most important thing. But, just wondering if it would be simple to add these functions?

I've been creating 300 pages at a time on hostgator shared plans with no problems. Not to say I won't, but I haven't yet. Time of day might be an issue. You might try running the script late in the evening or early morning and see if you have better results.

Thank you. That makes sense. I was running them at 3am-5am last night, but in large quantity, so maybe reducing to 200 pages per run and 11pm-12am will help.

I actually copied the text directly from the HTML in wordpress into Notepad to get rid of any unpleasantness and then did my spinning after that. I can't see any erroneous code and I feel like I'm banging my head against a brick wall!!

However I'm a patient kind of chap so I'll type out the whole article and try it again... worth it to get the most out of the plugin.

Sorry, this thread is super long-- I used the *old* version of this plugin to get some awesome results, so I can only imagine what the new version is going to do.

Can someone just tell me the best tool for tracking rank for individual keywords? SeoQuake is not doing quite what I need it to do. At the very beginning of this thread (like Page 1), there is a chart where individual rankings are being tracked for the words "sewage backup in X," etc. Maybe if someone could just tell me what program was used to get those results, that would give me a good place to start.

For spinning....

You can't copy an article from a website, drop it in a spinner, then paste it into the plugin.

The text HAS TO come from a notepad or something similar as the original source...

...so, you can't go to an article directory, copy that article into your spinner, spin it, then copy and paste that text into LPN

The text has to originate from a text file or something similar...

Also, it works best WHEN YOU COPY THE TEXT DIRECTLY INTO THE HTML MODE in wordpress NOT THE NORMAL MODE, THEN JUST SAVE IT AS HTML.

Is the updated version able to do this now? So we can add a number of cities and then do our draft, save it and it will generate those posts. Then if I go back and want to add another set of cities using the same draft do we just delete the cities that have already have posts and paste in the new ones to generate the new posts to the earlier ones that are already there?

Yes that's exactly what I did, the process is slightly different but it works really well to populate a site quickly.

1. Set up cities in shortcodes
2. Write post with the shortcode in content
3. Save draft
4. Publish posts/pages
5. Replace cities in shortcode tab
6. Save draft
7. Publish posts/pages

etc.

Hopefully that makes sense but that's what I did, the only thing to remember is that if you ever hit delete pages/posts, it will delete every single post/page ever created from that draft.

I do agree with this for simple ranking, but if you want to know what keywords to target and help with back linking and getting information from competitors with your same keyword, I would use SEO Spyglass which could be available with the SEO Powersuite, it's well worth it if you know how to put it to good use. it comes with a rank tracker and an auditor as well Goodluck!

For simple ranking though, the free version of rank tracker is plenty, it just has some limitations.

Just wanted to say, I tried this on 59 areas in 1 submission, over 50% are ranking on page 1 within 1 day with no backlinks, the most competitive areas are not on page 1 yet but its still early days,

I'm also using SEO Pressor which I reckon is helping as some of my rankings are number 1, some where number 1 after a few hours, pretty incredible stuff!

There are a few people that put spinner syntax in and see a bunch of it in their posts. Here is why... and a solution. I am guessing MAC and Linux users probably don't have these issues...

The biggest problem anyone will have is this...

If you grab something from a webpage or even inside word or some other word processing app. They can leave behind characters that cause issues. Like take for instance:

” <--- That is not the same as "
or
’ <--- is not the same as '


Those... are basically ascii characters like... holding down the alt key and pressing some numbers on your number pad and it generating an ascii character from the ascii table. No need to explain that... Just know that the character encoding can get hosed.

If you want to make sure nothing will go wrong and want to use the visual editor you can. But I recommend doing this:

Grab: Notepad++


Then watch this:


Hopefully that will help anyone out having that issue.

I was wondering why it worked so well for my posts. A beautiful, clean post with no leftover gibberish. (I had put it into Notepad before copying and pasting into the post)

I'm wondering if it's alright not to use the html tab if I use Notepad to clean the post up first?

In most cases pasting it in as text in the visual editor (using the paste as text button) it will be fine. If the articles is already spun and not in spinner syntax then it will obviously be fine as well.

The article I used was spun on the sentence level. I pasted it directly into the normal post editor and it came out very nicely. I wonder why it works without using the html tab? If I can do that with all my posts it would make me a lot happier.

SEO Pressor doesn't show up in my Local Pages post editor. Did you have to upgrade/ downgrade either the plugin or WordPress to make it work? Or so annother tweaks? Desperate to get this plugin to work.

Open question to all warriors using LPN. Simple yes or no will suffice.

Can nested curly brackets be used within the LPN spinner framework i.e. {sample1|sample2}test1|test2} ?

I've never used a spinner before, but, I think I would be foolish not to use one with LPN.

Not so important question.... Anyone have a recommendation on a free spinner? Looking at SpinnerChief right now.

If I receive no answer I'll make the assumption that nesting is possible.
