The lack in response time is due to the fact that they are prioritized...If it's a question that is answered in the pdf or the video, it gets pushed to the back, while "unique" questions take priority.

For questions 1 and 2 - it was just an example, it wasn't a functioning site...The explanation in the pdf was correct....

Everyone can do what they want with their sites, of course. BUT, I recommend NOT posting your sites especially if you plan to monetize them...

How many people are looking at this thread?

The only reason I asked is I believe he's using an elegant theme for his site, and I've not been able to figure out how to use this plug in on mine (which co-incidently is the same elegant theme I'm using). I do have a ticket in but haven't had an answer in 4 days, and I know, I saw your post above that says you prioritize the tickets based on already answered questions but I've not seen mine answered for how to do this for an existing theme that is live and ranking already for niche+local keyword.

Many of my posts with the original were getting indexed and ranked and now not so much with the update. I know it works, i just need to figure out what I'm doin' wrong.

If we put up hundreds of posts all on the same day same time it won't look
natural.

If you could have it randomly choose the times and the number of posts per day and even back date them that would be a great upgrade.

Hi Chris...thanks for your reply...Unfortunately I can't PM yet..to much of a newbee...I'm using Elegant - Theme - The Professional....but I have not for the life of me...figured out how I can can take my existing site, which has been live for a few months...and publish it to the various {city}'s, and have it still look original. Since I have to build a new local page, how do I implement that into my site...I can't figure out where the new page or post will end up on my existing site....thanks for getting back to me...

Just change your post info codes so the date is not included in the post/page. An added bonus is that "date search snobs" won't immediately ignore your post/page once it is a few months old, or occasionally update it.

Or just slow down folks.. you don't need 1,000 pages/hour - like new kids on Christmas that break their new favorite toy on the first day

Good advice, boulderjoe.

There's a plugin called Post PDE (PDE=Protect, Dripfeed, Expire) over on wpplugins (can I post a link here?) which will drip posts and may mask/modify pub dates (the description is a bit unclear).

Will it work with Local Pages? I would think not (because of the unique way Local Pages creates content) but I don't know for sure. It's also a tad bit costly ($40+$9/mo.).

There may be other "drip feed" plugins out there too.

Just wanted to post an issue I had that Andres solved through the support desk. Maybe it will help someone else. Thanks for the fast response time Andres. 1 1/2 hour wait time is incredibly awesome support in my book. Thanks!

I kept getting a 30 second timeout error and the plugin would only publish a portion of my 70 keyword shortcode list. A little over 60 posts I believe. I was hoping to get a better result with HostGator shared hosting. Andres said it was due to me spinning the article. (Only spun at the sentence level not synonym levels...so nothing major.)

Took away the spintax and the plugin published a 579 keyword list without a hitch!

So just keep this in mind if you're spinning your articles. You'll have to do a lot more work to get all your pages built. Is it worth it in the long run? I'm not sure.

Anybody having a better post rate than what HostGator is giving me? I'd love to hear other's results. Would be worth changing hosts if there are some faster shared hosting plans out there.

Hi Andres, I have bought the Plug-in and am very impressed, the video and PDF are easy to follow so I will not have a problem with that. My question will sound stupid but you must forgive me as I am a complete noobie and just getting used to IM etc. The thing is I dont actually know what I am supposed to do with it?

My website is for supplying car parking to customers of Stansted Airport near London. As this is heavily a local search item, I thought the plug-in could be used for that.

Does putting in all the cities (shortcodes) and then getting the related posts (100 plus etc.) make my actual site look good to Google and raise it in the rankings, or is the plug-in used for say selling a product in all other cities, say London, Birmingham or Manchester etc.

Once again apologies for being a noob ! I know its good but I just need a bit of guidance, thanks

Just a quick question on checking site ranking. My site got indexed a few days ago, I have 62 results. I have checked a number of them in rank tracker but none of them are in the top 100. I have 570 posts/cities and an additional 75 pages/cities. Is there a way in rank tracker to check the rankings on all of these without have to use each city as a keyword, does that make sense? Right now I am manually inputting main keyword with different city. I am using the free version of rank tracker. Can one of you help me out, I know this is not as related to the plugin itself, but in order to use it to it's fullest potential I need to know why I am not getting any high rankings. I see a lot of success stories here as far as many high rankings, so I am a little concerned I am doing something wrong. I am using WP SEO Beast by Prashant Sharma and getting a score of 9.5 out of 10 for on-page SEO. Please let me know if you can help :confused:

Hi,

Need help fixing a problem.

I have 100+ pages indexed and on position 1 top in Google. That is just fantastic except that when I click on the link I get a "Not Found
The page you requested could not be found".

I can only assume I deleted the pages that are ranking No1. when I upgraded the pluging and had a bunch of errors on it. The good thing is that on position 2 is also mine except that it does not look good to have a dead link on pos. 1.

Is there anyway to easily fix it? It's indexed and ranking for nearly 100 pages but it's all a dead link. How can I get the content back while keeping the exact same ranking url?

I love the new updates. One thing I would like to add.

Say I have 500 cities, I would like to be able to publish 100 (or so) of the 500 at one time.
So in Number of Posts I would put 100. It would build the 100 pages/posts.
The there would be a new button to build pages/posts as well as the deleted pages/posts. So i could build the next 100 keywords/shortcodes and so forth.

This could help those out experiencing timeouts.

Well if you notice in Jeremy's original video for the installation he used the domain delawaredentistx.com and cheapcarinsuranceinflorida.net they seem to be fine. I would think plumbersingeorgia.com would work just fine.

As someone who is very active in this space I can tell you that things changed quite a bit after Panda. Prior to that we were ALWAYS using new domains with both keyword and geographic area or as close as we could get to an EMD (exact match domain). Now Google seems to be giving more weight to aged domains so I would recommend finding an older domain and using that. If the domain name has part of your keywords such as 'plumber' or 'georgia' so much the better.

These aged domains are ranking MUCH quicker than new domains in general.

Actually we have so many emails, tickets, and this thread that are "simple 10 second replies" that it has a been a heck of a lot more time than we can always allocate there. We still have our own businesses to run as well.

(Contrary to many other people that sell WSOs we actually make most of our money outside the warrior forum.)

The EMD is not essential... for your plumbers question. You could have localareaplumbers.com or something and do well. We just recommend a relevant domain name. No necessarily geographic domain name.

But on a side note... this isn't rocket science. Many people are way over analyzing and having analysis paralysis in this thread.

I'm back from the dead temporarily with a bit of information from the other side.

Big Hombre, please, not so many nails in the coffin next time

OK LPN'ers, I'm starting my third full day walking this puppy around the block. Here are my findings.

This plugin is hands down one of the best purchases I have ever made.
Reread number one again.
I purposely tackled my first setup without refreshing my memory by watching or reading the instructions. It was a success, with the exception of a couple typos and a HTML error. I'm a self confessed perfectionist so I deleted the first run of posts.
With the first run, and after examining a few of the built posts, I noticed that the 'Italicized' sections of my article were proceeded, and followed by 10 to 20 blank spaces. I also noticed that there was no state name in the title of my articles. Again, I considered this first run a success.
Second run... And after watching the videos and glancing through the PDF...... Another successful run, but, I'm still picking up extra spaces before and after applying italics, and only with italics. I've only been working with the HTML editor as instructed in the directions. At this point I started editing out the blank spaces and after pulling out a few hairs found out why my title didn't include the state name. It was because I had typed in the wrong short code. Actually what I typed in wasn't even one of the short codes. I just believed it was at the time.
Second run cont....... Another odd thing has happened. I ended up with a second saved draft. I had deactivated WP-CMS Post Control thinking that with one of the last LPN updates that it had rendered the plugin useless...... This second draft posed no threat whatsoever, LPN DID NOT PUBLISH the article, it had just saved a copy of the draft. No harm, no foul! Created the pages (200 cities), no more than 15 seconds to complete the posting and heavily spun article....... Examined the pages, all looks great, everything is working as it's supposed to...... Except, I still have blank spaces before and after the italicized sections of the article (this extra white space is starting to grow on me, at this point I don't even care about it, in fact I think the articles look better broken up like this).......Deleted this second run of 200 cities.
Run three, everything edited, right short codes, WP-CMS Post Control activated and set to not auto save. 200 cities, again 15 seconds or less to heavily spin and post.... This run is a keeper!!! With the exception of the white spacing around the italicized words. It's growing on me and doesn't interfere with the readability.
Satisfied and relaxed. The plugin is extremely easy to use. Sure, the first time, and the second time may be a bit intimidating, but the process really is straight forward, and there aren't dozens of options that have to be set prior to saving and posting. It does exactly what it's supposed to do.

Plugins I'm using: All-In-One SEO Pack, Google XML Sitemap, WP-CMS Post Control. I do have a copy of Easy WP SEO, but for the life of me I couldn't get it to work for me the way I felt it should. Sometime in the next few days I will be concentrating on getting Easy WP SEO to work with LPN.

Theme that I'm using: I've tried the new WP 2011 theme, and HeatMap Pro. I'll be sticking with HeatMap for the simple reason that it's easier for me to monetize.

Ranking so far......At this point I don't really care. I'm only interested in getting as much real estate out there as I can and see what sticks. Using LPN makes this very easy to do.

Worst thing about my experience.....Writing the 750 word article and reeducating myself on how to use AIO SEO..... Oh, and learning the in's and out's of the free version of SpinnerChief.

My takeaway on the whole user experience.... Reread #1 above again.

Create a master city list (txt file) template. You can use any spreadsheet program and paste in city/st or whatever and add "keyword" column wherever you want, before CITY or after. Copy and paste into notepad++, remove any empty spaces. I created 2 master templates one for "city KW" and one "KW city".

Now use find and replace with the KW of choice and save as KWcity file or whatever it is. Now when you go to rank tracker or Traffic
Travis just paste them all in.

There is probably an easier way, but that's what I did.

Article writing and spinning is my biggest roadblock. I am going to start buying spun articles to get over that hump. I have about 150 domains I could use this on so writing hundreds of articles is just too big a task for me. By tonight I should be rolling with ready-made content, so I can finally turn up the throttle on LPN.

I think an FAQ would go a long way for some and many here on this thread that answers a lot of concerns and questions that have already been answered.

Just a way to have easy access to the most pertinent issues.

I had the exact same problem. Since I deleted and rebuilt some pages ,the deleted pages are still cached in google.

Here is a simple work around. install the "404 to start" plug in and you can set it to redirect the 404 errors. I just have it set to redirect to my main CPA offer like the rest of the site.

I've read a lot of this thread, so forgive me if this has been answered. If I have say chicagodentist.com, as an example, would I be able to rank Chicago dentist.com on the first page for not only "Chicago dentist" but search terms like Naperville dentist, wriggleyville dentist, etc...(these are in the metro Chicago area). So we could approach a dentist in Chicago and show him first page rankings for all of these different local searches?

We can't tell you what kind of domain name is best for you, it really just depends on what you are trying to do...Just like we can't tell you how many words your content should be, whether you should use images, or how many posts/pages you should use...

Thanks for the reply. Since I am just getting back into this, I am not taking anything for granted. My thoughts were that no one would really search "city" "state" "keyword(s)" but rather "city" "keyword(s)". As such, I didn't think a domain with the state included would be of that much help in the SEO dept., however, I wanted confirmation that using a state based domain was not part of the *magic* that is helping these pages get their local rankings.

What if i only want to target one city? I understand why one would want multiple cities but if I want to sell ad space on say Bostonoptician.com, and am only interested in ranking my site on the first page for the keyword "Boston optician" will this still accomplish that?

I am picturing many different sites, in the same niche, but all in different cities, and ranking them all on the first page ONLY for city+niche. Not several different cities for each. Hope this makes sense.

You could use different suburbs of your city, local surrounding towns, and MANY different keywords to create more posts.

And is that video Up to Date as far as the plugin updates that just happened?

The purchase email you sent me mentioned a url for both video and pdf instructions. However, all it is right now is a licenseKey recovery page.

Even though I read all 30pages and things seem clear, I just want to make sure I dont miss anything.

It also sounds like you guys have more training material about to be released... is that correct?

I kept getting a 30 second timeout error and the plugin would only publish a portion of my 70 keyword shortcode list. A little over 60 posts I believe. I was hoping to get a better result with HostGator shared hosting. Andres said it was due to me spinning the article. (Only spun at the sentence level not synonym levels...so nothing major.) Took away the spintax and the plugin published a 579 keyword list without a hitch! So just keep this in mind if you're spinning your articles. You'll have to do a lot more work to get all your pages built. Is it worth it in the long run? I'm not sure. Anybody having a better post rate than what HostGator is giving me? I'd love to hear other's results. Would be worth changing hosts if there are some faster shared hosting plans out there. Thanks, Keith

One thing I would like to add. Say I have 500 cities, I would like to be able to publish 100 (or so) of the 500 at one time. So in Number of Posts I would put 100. It would build the 100 pages/posts. The there would be a new button to build pages/posts as well as the deleted pages/posts. So i could build the next 100 keywords/shortcodes and so forth. This could help those out experiencing timeouts.

Big Hombre, please, not so many nails in the coffin next time OK LPN'ers, I'm starting my third full day walking this puppy around the block. Here are my findings. This plugin is hands down one of the best purchases I have ever made. Reread number one again. I purposely tackled my first setup without refreshing my memory by watching or reading the instructions. It was a success, with the exception of a couple typos and a HTML error. I'm a self confessed perfectionist so I deleted the first run of posts. With the first run, and after examining a few of the built posts, I noticed that the 'Italicized' sections of my article were proceeded, and followed by 10 to 20 blank spaces. I also noticed that there was no state name in the title of my articles. Again, I considered this first run a success. Second run... And after watching the videos and glancing through the PDF...... Another successful run, but, I'm still picking up extra spaces before and after applying italics, and only with italics. I've only been working with the HTML editor as instructed in the directions. At this point I started editing out the blank spaces and after pulling out a few hairs found out why my title didn't include the state name. It was because I had typed in the wrong short code. Actually what I typed in wasn't even one of the short codes. I just believed it was at the time. Second run cont....... Another odd thing has happened. I ended up with a second saved draft. I had deactivated WP-CMS Post Control thinking that with one of the last LPN updates that it had rendered the plugin useless...... This second draft posed no threat whatsoever, LPN DID NOT PUBLISH the article, it had just saved a copy of the draft. No harm, no foul! Created the pages (200 cities), no more than 15 seconds to complete the posting and heavily spun article....... Examined the pages, all looks great, everything is working as it's supposed to...... Except, I still have blank spaces before and after the italicized sections of the article (this extra white space is starting to grow on me, at this point I don't even care about it, in fact I think the articles look better broken up like this).......Deleted this second run of 200 cities. Run three, everything edited, right short codes, WP-CMS Post Control activated and set to not auto save. 200 cities, again 15 seconds or less to heavily spin and post.... This run is a keeper!!! With the exception of the white spacing around the italicized words. It's growing on me and doesn't interfere with the readability. Satisfied and relaxed. The plugin is extremely easy to use. Sure, the first time, and the second time may be a bit intimidating, but the process really is straight forward, and there aren't dozens of options that have to be set prior to saving and posting. It does exactly what it's supposed to do. Plugins I'm using: All-In-One SEO Pack, Google XML Sitemap, WP-CMS Post Control. I do have a copy of Easy WP SEO, but for the life of me I couldn't get it to work for me the way I felt it should. Sometime in the next few days I will be concentrating on getting Easy WP SEO to work with LPN. Theme that I'm using: I've tried the new WP 2011 theme, and HeatMap Pro. I'll be sticking with HeatMap for the simple reason that it's easier for me to monetize. Ranking so far......At this point I don't really care. I'm only interested in getting as much real estate out there as I can and see what sticks. Using LPN makes this very easy to do. Worst thing about my experience.....Writing the 750 word article and reeducating myself on how to use AIO SEO..... Oh, and learning the in's and out's of the free version of SpinnerChief.
