Jeremy,
Just purchased a developers license, and sorry to be a pest, but I'm a senior and not a techi whiz. Are you planning any more training/setup videos, perhaps one over the sholder on setting up the plugin on a new site from scratch? Possibly a PDF with detailed screenshots would be great also, so it could be gone through at an individuals own pace and more would be visible than there is in the current training video?
Hopefully you'll be saying yes to these things.

ok, im back, first off, very nifty and cool plugin and will work with one of my existing sites that i target nationally and never could figure out how to target some of the top cities without it being a pain in the rear. so really exited about this one.

now my question is on the local side...does this work with bigger cities without the state name in the keyword, for example.. kansas city dentist instead of kansas city missouri dentist.

i ask bc that gets more searches than kansas city missouri dentist, actually that doesnt get any searches according to google kw tool. I know its great to rank kws but if they dont bring in any traffic, then am i missing something here? which brings me to my next question ive been wanting to ask some local experts regarding traffic for say small towns or suburbs of a bigger city. most of the time, they show very little searches in google kw tool so like to know from ya'all expience if these do in fact pull in some decent traffic.

and I do think a spintax would be good, i understand the whole crap that can produce but for those of us who use spin to make sure its spun well, this would be a great add on.

Another possibly silly question. When entering the cities, what is the correct syntax? Is it one per line or comma separated or what?
This is why a PDF with screen shots would be great.

From my personal testing, the google keyword tool is crap when it comes to local terms. Unless you're in a huge city, it just doesn't give you any data.

Basically think about this way, doesn't matter how big your city or town is, at one point or another, you still need a dentist.

Doesn't matter what the GKT says, every area will pull in traffic, the difference is that obviously the bigger the area, the more traffic you're bound to get.

Typically when I'm building my pages, I don't use the full state name in the title. I might use the abbreviation at the end but that's it.

Just bought the plugin. Want to be clear that using it in pages mode will not cause the site to incur duplicate content penalties due to the site being filled with nothing but pages of essentially identical posts.

Also...what criteria are you using to select the site keywords you're targeting??

Anyone looking for U.S. cities... and there may be a few countries in there but mainly should all be U.S. cities you can use this thing I made that we use.

If you're really worried about it then do this. Install on a throwaway domain, load up 30-50 cities, and make one or a few optimized posts.

Use ranktracker or something similar and I'm sure once you see how well those posts start ranking then you won't have any issues using it for your clients and "WOWING" them with your abilities.

Just finished watching the video

In a nutshell, this plugin helps newly built sites look like an authority site of the particular local business you are after. Thus, some of the keywords(city+business) will rank on 1st page of google and start getting traffic. You can then monetize the traffic with many things(offline, CPA, adsense...etc ).

Looks like a nice offer to me. I also bought your Core Conversion plugin which delivers great results for me.

However, any chance to get this plugin working without duplicate content right now? Let's say I want to target 10 cities and have 10 spun versions of the article, could the plugin work with them? Or would this screw up the automation process?

Would be great if you could add spintax support, even if your case study sites are doing fine. You never know what big G comes up with, so I guess it's best to stick as close to their rules as possible... just my 2 cents. Will buy anyway, this looks to good to pass.

Awesome timing. I'm in the mddle of setting up a system to build websites for local buisnesses and sell them the rankings. Because it's from Jeremy I only just skimmed over the sales page. I knew it was for local searches and thats what I needed. It's from Jeremy so it works.

I have read the whole thread but forgot half of it so please clarify this for me. Can I get multiple rankings within the same city for the same client or this is only for multple ranking within many cities for the same niche?

This plugin is more geared towards your second option, "multiple rankings within many cities for the same niche".

Honestly if you're just targeting one city, then this won't help you but imagine if you can tell your client that you can now get them ranked for all the surrounding areas within 30 miles for an extra $400-$1000/mo depending on the niche and all you really have to do is just spend an extra 15 minutes setting up.

many cities, same niche, dupl content (non-issue...) this is search-replace with a page duplication loop by city.

Does having multiple city pages with exactly the same content on each page other than the city name add to the ranking value of the cumulative number of pages?

Normally, I've done one site per city/niche, and there can be muliple pages with long-tail keyword related pages. Do I understand that the multi-city strategy works best with a single page for each city, and then monetizing that set of pages by selling custom targeted banners or adding adsense?

So for instance, if you target all dentists in all cities in a state, that theoretically you could sell banners for each city. But you'd also have to customize each page for the advertiser. Ok, this is a stragegy, and I see some possible strengths. It is a bit different.

Congrats on creative thinking. I have bought and will test it out a bit more. It seems useful if you set your site up in a way that works with the tool's strengths.

That is definitely ONE way to go about it, but to me the biggest strengths if you are an offline consultant are:

1. Having BIG proof of rankings when talking to a client - something BIG AND BLATANT that you can throw at them right off the bat. They really don't have any other choice but to be impressed.

2. The strength that one of these sites ranked for numerous cities in a state can lend to a GP Listing when you are attempting to rank them on page 1.

In the same sense though, it would only take a couple minutes at most, or probably a couple bucks to have each page customized a bit, AFTER you got a client interested in either paying you for adspace, or came to some sort of agreement for the rental of that particular page.

What we'll be doing quite a bit too is to take an education or finance keyword, rank it, then use our core conversion plugin to display CPA offers that are relevant to the profession. The core conversions plugin could also be used to easily show a clients site when the page is accessed instead of the content that you have on the site that allows it to rank

The amount of different ways to monetize these sites is pretty much only limited by your imagination

it says on plugin to create draft post but do not publish this ??
if this was a new blog then where is the content do you create seperate content to publish?

also i have existing niche blog can i use this plugin to edit my existing posts? and republish sorry if this seems dum questions but the video doesnt really explain this

You don't publish because the plugin takes care of that for you.

The way I use it, I just use it on new posts or pages but you can take the content from your existing posts and use that as your draft.

You can use neighborhoods, it's really up to you how you want to target it.

Or you can load up a list of cities AND neighborhoods.

Hi Eddie,

I just tried pushing it to the max and it there is a limit to the number of cities you can add to the plugin but it seems to be a wordpress limitation. It just times out.

But there is a workaround though, just install multiple copies of wordpress in subdomains and have each one targeting different "sets" of cities. The sweet spot is between 200-350

So you can have subdomain1.yoursite.com targeting one set of cities and subdomain2.yoursite.com targeting a completely different set of cities.

Does that make sense?

Excellent idea. And an excellent product. Am I on the right path with my thinking? If my product, red widgets, can be used all over the world, then I can basically target the whole world with this? Keep in mind that I would start slow....perhaps a state or 2....just to see the first order roll in!!

Like I said earlier, the biggest limitation here is in your own creativity...

I know most will pick it up for the local stuff, but what about

City + state dog training
or dog training in city + state

or

city + state Criminal background check

or

city + state credit counseling - throwing a CPA offer on the back of it

or

grants for city + state - Again, CPA offer on the back

There are just tons of different things to target here, and a TON of traffic to be had, which we all know equals a TON of money in your pocket.

I'm not sure why we have to rank for 20-30 cities because local business like plumber or dentist are not able to service customers in those cities anyway. Is there any benefit of ranking the local business in 20-30 cities ?

I think a pdf would go great or another video like Jeremy mentions regarding adsense strategy, as asked before but with some more detail to setting up and ways to monetize.

Latin guy you mentioned that you just use {city} & the state initials correct. I think this might look better to prospective clients than city state niche. These sites ranked for you just as well?

Also i dont think that the posts look great if i try to sell to one client #example one post after another after another scrolling down the page. I think it would look a lot better if we used individual pages. If we do individual pages is there a way to hide them from the nav bar so we don't have a mess of 50 + page names ?

Any difference in TLD you select .com over .net etc?

How would i go about adding phone numbers like the skype icon etc to individual pages. Can i do this manually as pages begin to rank? I could offer to place separate numbers on these pages for multiple rental pages.

Should we add contact, about us pages and privacy to these sites? does that mess things up. and how about autoresponders can i use the same one just change to certain url for each one?

Just finished installing and writing the page for the plugin to use as a template. Really great idea and so glad you shared this with your fellow Warriors. Tested this on my website design site as it's fitting for this to rank locally. It's really cool that it adds city names on the image tags and also within all in one seo plugin.
