***************************

I met Rachel a couple of years ago and I knew right from the start that she wasn't your "typical internet marketer." She simply does things differently, in unique and effective ways.

She's a real out-of-the-box thinker and doer. This WSO is the epitome of this philosophy. Rachel gets straight to the point and lays out the entire strategy that she used to get her name in the mass media.

In 9 videos that span nearly an hour, Rachel tells you exactly what you need to do to copy the way she did it. She analyzes her experience and reverse-engineers the process so that you get the method that works without any doubt, guesswork, or mistakes.

You also get the audio and transcripts, too. This WSO is worth at least 10x if not 100x what you're paying for it today. I'm not kidding. This is professional-grade material that any up-and-coming writer would gladly pay $500 or more for.

I suggest you snatch this up for the super-low price it's being offered for. And take a long, hard look at the One-Time Offer (OTO) -- it's well worth the price.

Plus, from past purchases I've made of Rachel's products, I know she completely over-delivers after the sale in terms of unannounced bonuses, extras, and support. She's always there to help -- count on that.
WOW Bill.

Thank you so much for this.

I really had no idea you felt that way. I feel speechless right now, and very very grateful.

I'm really happy you like everything so much. Words like yours mean the world to me.

Rachel - Your folder just keeps on getting bigger because you keep coming up with the goods. Will be going through and applying this WSO for myself and my clients.

Bolaji's honest review of Presto Publicity.
Share on:
fb share twitter share gplus share more share

Full disclaimer: I was one of the lucky ones to have been given a review copy ahead of time.
This is my honest review, based on my detailed use of the WSO.

*******************************

I've never been savvy when it comes to mainstream media.

I've always seen getting mainstream media mentions as prohibitively expensive,

or inaccessible because of my lack of contacts.

You know; for the amazing reach that the Internet has,

The web is STILL yet to match the authority of mainstream media.

These fading newspapers and magazines STILL hold incredible sway.

Okay - so here's how it went down - I took notes as I went through.
  1. Rachel starts out with her stunning personal story.
(To be honest, I'm amazed she shared so much. I was stunned and humbled... that took a lot of courage.)

And then, she uses her story as a template as to how we can find and finesse our own personal story.

Goodness - so many of us are focused on making money, generating traffic, building lists...
how often do we take the time to define (or update) our personal story?

and if you think your personal story doesn't matter...
This WSO probably isn't for you.

  2. Reason this may not be for you #1:
Now. There are I.M. business models in which you can sit around in your pajamas all day,
scratching and sniffing as the dollars roll in. We're Warriors, so we all know of at least 1 affiliate marketer doing this. LOL!!!

(If that's your model, this WSO won't help your business.)

But for MOST of us, there is REAL VALUE in building our personal brand.

  3. The meat & potatoes (More steak, less sizzle.)
Once she gets past the big picture, why it matters, and how she created hers...
    she gets into the details.

    The meat and potatoes.

I was surprised that the videos weren't longer, to be honest.

Each one is about 5 minutes...

with just one video topping out around 20 minutes.

But by the time I went through the content,
    I realized that I didn't feel short-changed at all.

Rachel had cut out all the fluff,

And just gone right to the heart of what worked for her, and why.

Now let me warn you - a lot of us are technically savvy,
and are used to only being impressed with stuff that
    we couldn't have built ourselves...
or wouldn't have thought of ourselves.

Some of the tactics Rachel teaches are so simple,
any Virtual Assistant could do them within minutes of being hired.

If you're expecting the holy grail motherlode of Rosetta stone secrets
that have been kept under wraps for centuries,
only to finally be revealed in one cacophonic earth-shattering moment...

This WSO is probably not for you.

  4. Reason this may not be for you #2:
Important Note: Rachel didn't give all the possible ways of
building your authority, prestige, and media coverage...

She gave the method that worked for her.

    Like it or leave it.

    I liked it.

My wife, who was watching over my shoulder, did as well.

And I did find some of the stuff Rachel taught to be things I already knew well...
but this was ONLY in the "Build a Following" section.

And that's because I've been doing that for years...
so I'm advanced in that area.

I think in that section, Warriors who are savvy with social media
will find that they can skim through that section
(quickly picking up one or two tweaks to their approach).

But in virtually all the other areas,
this was NET NEW INFORMATION FOR ME.

  5. Don't come in with the mindset of:
"Okay, you got my 5 bucks, Rachel. Now - impress me." (LOL!)

    The bottom line is...

As simple and straightforward as many of these tactics are...

    They work.

Not only can you see that they worked (amazingly well) for Rachel,

But you can instantly see them working for you

OR working for your offline clients.

There are none of the typical "smoke-and-mirrors"
that gurus use to dress up their super special secret sauce ingredients.

Just plain value on a bun.

And worth waaay more than you will end up paying.

  6. One of the approaches was pure "Social Engineering Ninjitsu".
Very simple psychology, that almost seemed like a Jedi mind trick for getting journalists to know, like and trust you.

  7. Another one of them (Using YouTube)

made me want to slap my forehead and say:

"Why in the world didn't I think of that?"

Well, I didn't think of that.

    Rachel did.

    Then she implemented it.

    And got results.

And that's why they pay her the big bucks.

(Except in the case of her WSOs, in which case she charges waaaaay too little.)

Let's be honest here.

I know we're used to dime-sales and low prices on the Warrior Forum.

But imagine receiving this kind of battle-tested advice outside of the forum?

I can't even imagine what the difference in price would be.

Anyway, you guys get the idea.

I've gone through the product,

I received a lot of valuable instruction from it,

And I'm going to now take the ridiculous and unprecedented step
Of putting some of the tasks into action.

(I know, crazy, right? Who takes action on what they learn from a $5 WSO?)

Feel free to move on and keep browsing through the forum for fun and entertainment.

It's why most of us are here (admit it or not.)

For those serious about exploding their business footprint (offline, as well as on),

This is a great investment for you.

Hope you found this helpful.

Now I'm off to change a diaper.

Bolaji!!

Thank you SO much!!

And I meant to send you a personal email telling you how hilarious your video was. My husband and I watched it from my car and we were CRACKING UP, and then Dennis sent me an email with the subject "That is hilarious!"

You are SO FUNNY!!! Your wife is very lucky... I bet you keep her smiling all the time.

Thank you also for the super-kind words and very fair review. I appreciate it.

And yeah - I tried to be very clear in my sales letter that this is not a "be all end all" guide to publicity, it's just what's worked stunningly well for ME.

I will try and get some experts for the bonus webinar to complement this even further.

Thanks again!

Hi Rachel,

I had been planning to give you insights from the media's perspective, because I was a newspaper reporter for six years and assistant managing editor for four, before "retiring" when my first personal growth book was published.

Yet I had to stop watching, 58 seconds into Video 4 - because I knew it was "The Key" I had been missing in my business.

Your videos really connected the dots for me and I know exactly what I need to do to experience the massive, massive success waiting for me (and everyone who really gets what your course teaches).

I'm talking about one's transformation story.

Thank you very much for creating this course. Bells and whistles are going off for me and this will have a major impact on my business and life.

....Even though I'm not quite giving you "the scoop", fully from the perspective of a journalist, I can affirm your Woman's World case study, and the approach you teach, is spot on.

It's all about giving the media interesting stories their audiences will benefit from.

They eat that stuff up.

Think of it from the editor's or producer's perspective - he or she has 24 hours of 2- to 3-minute stories about interesting people doing interesting things. Or 30-110 pages every day or every month to fill with 10 inch stories that will interest the publication's readers.

They need us. We give them what they're looking for. By making it as easy as possible for them to get what they're looking for, they love us and are more than happy to help us get what we're looking for.

Your course is one of the best things I've invested in this year. That's actually an understatement, just because of this major ah-ha it's given me.

You have my profound gratitude.

Thanks much,
Dan

I have opened your product and gone through it, and I must say it's amazing! There's so much original content here! It's in the same class as your prior products, Happy Copywriting and Happy Outsourcing. You continue to overdeliver! I'm never disappointed when I purchase your products. Keep up the great work!

Hi, Rachel !

Hi, fellow Warriors !

A Review:

In PrestoPublicity, Rachel Rofe offers a valuable
guide on securing free, niche-specific, targeted traffic
with the end goal in mind of building your ist and in-
creasing your sales.

It is not a "definitive" work, but neither is it
priced like one.

For those who are willing, it can open your mind to
see and do things in a new (but very 'old' and tried
true) method that most IMers may not have considered.

I found her "story" quite compelling, touching "my"
story in significant ways (while giving me a great way
to establish myself in a well-estabished and highly
competitive niche (thanks, Rachel) :-)

It is definitely written from a woman's perspective,
but can be applied equally by both sexes.

Some of her points go without saying, as every IMer
should know and do what she says.

In the module on "Growing your fan base" (NOT "solely"
dedicated to Facebook by any means), she said she did not
want to "overload" her audience. Here, I believe she just
"scratehed the surface", and I would have appreciated more
"specifics" - IMHO, this would undoubtedly justify a higher
price tag... or warrant a substantive "update" for people
like me who 'do' want more info on "particulars".

Her suggestions on "Leveraging your Press" were very
helpful, especially as it could really multiply your
efforts... and your bottom line :-)

Though possibly known to others, she gives a link to a
very useful and much desired "free" WP plug in I did't know
existed.

The presentation was unique - like she was a teacher
in front of a blackboard - she gave the "message" more
prominence than the "messenger" - though you can hardly
take your eyes off her (especially when thinking about
her "story".

She has overcome great adversity to get to where she
is now and has achieved great success. She is someone who
deserves to be listened to... and learned from.

I was one of the fortunate few who received a free review
copy, but I believe Rachel truly wanted an "unbiased" review
of her product, so (if anything) I may have been a little
'harsher' in providing just such a review.

She deserved my honesty, and so do you. I don't know
any other way to be.

No CB "super secret software" developed by "underground
Russian or NASA programmers, or any other B.S. like that -
just straight from the hip truth... refreshing :-)

4 1/2 out of 5 Stars.

A Review:

In PrestoPublicity, Rachel Rofe offers a valuable
guide on securing free, niche-specific, targeted traffic
with the end goal in mind of building your ist and in-
creasing your sales.

It is not a "definitive" work, but neither is it
priced like one.

For those who are willing, it can open your mind to
see and do things in a new (but very 'old' and tried
true) method that most IMers may not have considered.

I found her "story" quite compelling, touching "my"
story in significant ways (while giving me a great way
to establish myself in a well-estabished and highly
competitive niche (thanks, Rachel) :-)

OMG awesome WSO Rachel!!

I love all your products but this one TOPS! I LOVE how you think outside the box and go deeply into how to tell your story, fantastic!!
That is one area that I have really struggled with over the years, so thank you from the bottom of my heart!

The instructions and tips that you gave in your short videos are incredible. I can't wait to get started.

I honestly believe that Offline is the new Online and they blend perfectly together if implemented properly together.

Cheers Rachel, you rock!!

This product is awesome. It provides step by step instruction on how to connect up with offline media sources to get yourself known. Newspapers, TV, and radio are still a major force in our world and getting recognition on them is a very valuable way to help brand yourself.

Rachel's story is incredible, as someone who has battled with weight issues I can really relate. Getting out of your comfort zone and sharing of yourself is a beautiful way to connect to more people and I applaud her for taking that step. It is not easy to be so honest about personal issues, but it helps others to see you really know what you are talking about, and helps them to see you are a real person not just a name.

As internet marketing shifts more toward relationship building, social networking, and self branding, people who know how to tap into the offline media sources will be able to connect to a much wider audience. It is all about making those connections which in turn builds a bigger list. Providing value to your customers is key. Rachel does an excellent job of this in this product.

I have had a chance to go through Rachel’s WSO … Presto Publicity Content:

She delivers her report using my favorite methods … Video, MP3 and transcripts which is the best of all worlds

You will be able to watch the videos, use the transcripts to save time and taking notes and the MP3s whenever you have an opportunity to listen while you are driving or doing something else like exercising.

There are 9-modules … With the videos have been a total running time of about 60-minutes.

The .PDF format transcripts have a total page count of 55.

The videos are clear and easy to understand, Rachel is a very interesting speaker that teaches her strategy in a pleasant way

Want to tap into mainstream media for you or your offline clients?

Rachel uses her own case study story of being introduced to the media and receiving positive publicity.

Using mainstream media makes it easier to get noticed, find potential customers and motivate them to contact or pay a visit to your off-line client’s place of business.

In most instances it is much easier to build up acceptance and trust through the use of media.

The benefit of building up acceptance and trust is this give you an authority position in many folk’s minds.

The sources for finding free publicity that are shared are excellent.

How to create quality content that keeps your potential customers interested, wanting to take the time to complete their reading and take action.

Working with the press and leveraging them to increase their efforts and your publicity.

This report is very well done and will open up your mind to new ways to help your off-line clients and increase your bottom line.

In my opinion, this WSO is underpriced and will add quality strategy to your toolbox.

All the best … Ron

Thanks, Rachel, this is just great so far. In all honesty, I haven't gone through it all, but what I've seen is as good as everyone says.

Thanks, Warriors, for all the good reviews. I guess another clearly successful publicity tip from Rachel is to give out lots of review copies when you know you have a good product.

Rachel,

You are my angel, how did you know that I have just signed a Professional Musician as a client, he is a Jazz Guitarist and is starting a training site on learning how to play a guitar, I am offering him a massive social media campaign and wanted to be able to include Main Stream Media as part of my package, now thanks to you I can over-deliver my services to him!

Rachel, Yes I prefer the mp3's as that method of delivering information allows me to be in motion, where the transcript or video means I'm sitting down and I spend far too much time with my butt in a chair already!

That being said I went for a lunchtime run (need music for running) and listened to your first 4 mp3's (up through Strategy and the IM transformation story) while walking my cool down and driving home. Wow.... what a story. You are very courageous.

Can't wait to get back to it.... day job is a calling at the moment though.

Hey Rachel:

I'm considering buying your OTO but can't see a copy of your WordPress Theme. Can you give us a screenshot or link on what it looks like before purchasing?

Thanks,

Rachael -

Just bought the (basic) WSO. Them when I got to the OTO, I was expecting to see the screenshot/demo of the WP theme ... which I thought you said you had put up (or were putting up) per posts #28 & #30 ... but it's not there yet.

How soon before you can show us a sample of what it looks like?

Anxiously,

oy oy oy! I apologize Chris! I was hoping to have this up sooner, but unfortunately it's not quite ready. As of last night I thought it was, but we caught a bug... so now it's being fixed before we send it out to everyone. It'll be done within 24 hours.

I'll send out the preview as soon as everything is in perfect order.

Hi Rachel and Fellow Warriors,

I too was lucky enough to get a review copy, and I was very happy to get it since it was the perfect product at the right time...

I'm in the middle of having to figure out how to get some real publicity for one of my clients, and this WSO has given me some key strategies I'm going to implement shortly!

I don't want to duplicate everything that has already been said above (and which I agree with) - so I'll just add my own key points.

I loved the way Rachel used her story to show us how getting publicity works - complete with what makes the media/journalists excited about someone.

Yes, her story is one that would be hard to match for most of us, but we all have stories to tell, and Rachel gave us a great framework to help us structure them, plus she shared her own example, which is a terrific illustration.

For additional illustration, Rachel also included a briefer walk-through of someone else's story (much more comparable to what most of us might be able to come up with) and that gave me a lot of "Aha!" moments as well as reassurance and encouragement.

One of my very favorite parts of her course/program is the example script for how to approach publications/venues that can get your info out there. Oh, and how to find those publications in the first place, which is included in the detailed script that you can give to your VA! :-) (or put to use yourself)

That alone was worth a multiple of the price of admission.

I also really appreciated the multi-media presentation - the videos are valuable for show & tell and for getting the basics down, and for going back over things, I appreciate the pdfs (I have a huge preference for products that include transcripts/PDFs).

And I also appreciate the mp3s - I like to load those on my iPod and take them for a walk...

Overall, this is an excellent guide to getting big publicity. It gives enough structure and resources that you can fill in your own story and just follow the steps as you go out to get your own publicity campaign off the ground. And there's more! Rachel also tells us how to make the most of the publicity we ARE getting (as a result of her previous steps).

My recommendation! A winner! If you're interested in getting publicity - this is a must-have!

Thanks, Rachel!

Thank you so much for your thorough review Elisabeth!!

I VERY MUCH appreciate you, and the time it took you to create all of this.

Your feedback in reviewing was SUPER helpful too, and I hope you'll see that I implemented a lot of it.

I really appreciate you!

I asked Rachel to review this product before her launch today, because my degree and background is in public relations, I've taught media training to professionals, and I've published a few information products on the topic myself. I wanted to know, "Can she teach me something I didn't know before?"

The answer was yes.

I think I scared Rachel a bit with my initial feedback. I loved what she had put together but pushed her to include even more information -- which she did. She said she wanted to deliver ten times the value that people would pay, and with the nine videos (in three formats -- video, audio, and PDF transcript), the resources she mentions, the actual script she used that led to her being featured in Entrepreneur ... this package is a steal at the price she's offering it (and I told her it would still be a value at three and four times the price too!). With the addition of the Q&A for buyers in the first 10 days -- AND a 30-day guarantee, you'd be crazy not to buy this. (If I hadn't received a review copy, this is a WSO I would have gladly invested in!)

Yes, *some* of this information can be found in other products and books. But you'd spend a ton of time researching this ... and Rachel walks you through how she did it, giving you specific tips throughout, so you can implement the tactics yourself. And she gave a couple of tips that even seasoned pros don't know (or don't remember to implement). That much is clear from reading some of the other feedback on this thread!

As Rachel says, the information is short and to the point. I watched all the videos in under an hour. At the end of that hour, you'll be able to identify your own transformational story arc (the hook that will draw journalists in), you'll have learned what kind of content to share on social media that will attract media coverage, and how to connect with reporters online.

Most importantly, you'll be inspired by Rachel's story -- and the results she was able to achieve. She shares with you her personal success story in getting media attention in an extremely crowded market niche (weight loss). Her tactics, although simple, are extremely effective. As I told her in an email, this approach is 180 degrees from what you'd normally see in a "how to get publicity" instructional program ... but it works. But if you're looking for "how to write a press release," this isn't the program for you.

If you're a public relations professional, or you have a publicist on your payroll, you probably don't need Presto Publicity. But if you're looking to boost your credibility, draw attention to your products/services/website at little or no cost, and you can identify something newsworthy about yourself or your business, you should buy this product.

Thank you so much for this.

I didn't realize you didn't have any Warrior posts - if you signed up on my account, thank you!

Your feedback was VERY helpful to me, as you know. It helped me change some things right away and I think the end result ended up being significantly better.

I so appreciate all the time you took to help me, all your feedback, your review, and your insight.

THANK YOU so, so much.

True story...

I've just escaped a 5.9 Richter scale EARTHQUAKE and doomsday traffic to get home.

The FIRST thing I did was make sure my family's alive and no trees have fallen on our house.

And what's the SECOND thing I'm doing in an emergency?

Writing a review of Rachel Rolfe's WSO!

You bet Rachel Rolfe and Presto! Publicity are good. Don't let the low price or snappy name make you think it's one more WSO flash in the pan.

Here's the truth: Rachel's story will help marketers transform their lives, not just their publicity.

Using the story you were too embarassed or ashamed to tell in a particiular way is just ONE of the three methods Rachel teaches about getting mainstream publicity.

Presto! Publicity makes getting publicity from magazines and TV programs realistic and accessible. Rachel literally strolled through the major media doors without breaking a sweat. NO hype or fame was required.

The Internet has major media's traditional revenue formulas on life support.

Absolutely, you can take advantage of this unique situation. Just use Rachel's simple but detailed suggestions and resources to put you and your product in a big spotlight.

You don't need to be the perfect button-down expert with a trail of publications. You just need one unlikely success.

This WSO's a keeper. And you'll really like Rachel Rolfe.

Cheers,
Mary Greene

I'm glad I got this at the price I did. It's absolutely worth WAAAAY more, but who doesn't like to pay less for GREAT VALUE. Literally I almost feel like I stole this from Rachel, so thank you so much Rachel.

This is a WSO not based on theory, but actual case study (that can be verified!). Rachel gives ACTIONABLE steps to take and specific resources. Simple, straightforward, "DO THIS" style.
This is "evergreen" (if I understand this term correctly).

Thanks Rachel for putting it in different formats as I picked it up on my mobile device and could not watch the videos, but was able to read through the PDFs. Can't wait to get in front of my computer and go back through the info by video as I begin to implement what you're teaching.

Hi, Rachel!

I've been an Earn1KaDay member for most of 2011, and have bought numerous WSOs (just ask Justin Popovic!) ... but have never written a review before. So thanks for motivating me to finally do this. (It won't be my last, I promise!)

Thanks for taking my feedback!

I was one of the lucky ones to get a review copy and I'm really glad I did. As far as I can see, every post before this one has endorsed Rachel's product enthusiastically and I'll add my enthusiastic endorsement to the list. Every compliment given to Rachel is valid. My problem is I'm finding it difficult to add anything new.

But there are a couple of points I haven't seen mentioned. The first is Rachel herself. Some people (I'm not one of them) seem to be able to 'get ideas through to people' easily. I don't know if it was as easy as the videos made it look or if there was a lot of rehearsal and I don't care. The end result is very effective. I found it very easy to absorb the information. And believe me, most videos don't come up to this standard.

And I must comment on the transcripts. Firstly because they are not at all common, so having them is a treat. I have had transcripts before from other products and typically, with them it was obvious that the transcript was outsourced and was issued without checking. Rachel, on the other hand, is different. She probably outsourced the transcripts but they were checked and edited. Rachel's transcripts were easily readable and contained proper paragraphs. In other words I can use them without editing them myself.
