This particular strategy isn't anything unique, but she lays it out in an easy to follow fashion. If you're looking to add to your visibility, this is a simple way to do it and something you could quickly outsource. Rachel provides scripts to use. You add a little customization and in minutes you've got a campaign moving to get some extra recognition.

You'll also get tips on the motivation of journalists today. Their world has been turned upside down by the Web and it makes them more open to what you have to offer. Here, Rachel shares a few PR sites that will help you get the word out. Even if you're familiar with these, there is one suggestion she made that may get you connected with journalists much faster. It'll seem obvious once you pick up on it, but I doubt very many people are using it.

She also covers leveraging the media and how to create a following. Rachel is a continual story teller and her concepts are within the confines of those stories. I just took media 101 training at work. In my province, at least, the media are desperate for stories. With reduced staff, shorter news cycles, more publishing demands (print + blogs + twitter!) media are hungry for scoops and story ideas that come to them. The weekend editions alone need a lot of non-news type, community-level or local-based content.

I scooped Rachel's product up right away as I now know the potential that's out there with media. She always delivers with great and actionable information.

The "download them all" was something one of the reviewers suggested. I just added that in about 10 minutes before launch!

Oh, Rachel, thank you for the transcripts. Any time any marketer does one of those "what can I do to serve you better" questionnaires, I always say, "TRANSCRIPTS!"

I would've waded through this even without them because publicity is a serious problem with my primary business, but transcripts made opening my wallet so much easier.

First of all, you had a GREAT reason to get the copy. It was SO hard for me to choose... that's why I had to resort to a randomizer for the majority of them. You were definitely on the list for the randomizer... I just chickened out and decided to let the universe decide for me.

It was REALLY hard to choose.

I am fairly new to the Warrior Forum, and although I have purchased a few products, I have kept my opinion to myself because I wanted to get a good feel for the product before I jumped on and gave some positive review without really having the chance to test the product out. I was fortunate to get a copy of this because I am in Product Drop (if you don't know about Product Drop, ask Rachel about it.)

Rachel is one of the few marketers who has extensive experience using both online marketing methods and mainstream media.

The timing is perfect for me, because I happen to have a project going that these methods will be perfect for, and which online methods would not cover.
