October 19. I replied on November 4. The delay was due to the fact that you were using our old support ticket system that we don't use anymore.

You don't have to wait until then. To be honest, I don't really know when this new course is going to be fully ready. (I planned to launch it in September 2012 but it still hasn't happened yet.)

When the new course is out, all existing members will be notified and get a lower introductory price.

I too have had a really high ROI since I started the program in October 2012 (about 250%). It's an amazing feeling once a product really takes off and sales start rolling in. I've been able to identify 2 such high interest products. From my experience, it's really frustrating in the beginning waiting for those products to rise to the top, but once they do it's really incredible how fast the snowball can roll down the hill.

The BIG issue I'm having so far is the fact that I keep getting PPC violation emails from the networks I work with. 4 total violations from 4 different affiliate networks. I can see going forward that I'll need to either identify products that I can bid on their trademark names (which aren't easy to find), or keep trying to fly under the radar and avoid the dreaded trademark police.

I'll keep you posted on my progress. There are definitely significant highs and lows with this program.

Anyone else comfortable advertising with adcenter?

They are kind of sketchy, and there has been many complaints by others including myself regarding the account created with them. They simply close your account after your fill out the information and provide them with your credit card / paypal data.

lol I created an account with adcenter and before I did anything, I received an e-mail 24 hours later stating that my account has been terminated and they cannot provide the reason.

Thanks for your posts. But the statement that adCenter is sketchy is misinformation like the prophecy that the world was going to end on December 21, 2012. Some people's accounts were closed usually because of legitimate reasons. If you think adCenter is sketchy, wait till you deal with Google AdWords

They simply e-mailed me after I called them to see why I couldn't login to my account, and they said that they had to do an investigation.

After their investigation, they said, "Sorry, but for reasons we cannot provide your account has been terminated".

And this is before I even started any campaigns.

Google Adwords is straight (just expensive), they do not have such sketchy practices.

Unfortunately, I just got dinged BADLY today by one of the "safe" networks on the list you sent. I've been advertising with them since the start of November and made a lot with one specific product...over $1,000 with just $250 spent on ads, a $750 profit!!!

However, due to a PPC/TM violation they are not going to pay me ANY of it...super disappointing!! And to think right before Xmas as well. I was counting on that money to pay for all the Xmas gifts I bought for family...my wife is going to be livid!!

Is there anything I can do about this? Or, should I just move on to other campaigns and hope not to get caught again? Your program is awesome but these violations are a back breaker

No, they're not. Adwords will ban an affiliate account without giving any valid reason. Their main income comes from the merchants who pay 10's of millions of dollars a year, not smalltime affiliates. I've never had any problems with MS AdCenter. If you're still having problems just open a new account, and don't do anything that may be seen as 'dodgy'.

Did you check that trademark bidding was allowed with the network before advertising?
Networks may change their terms and conditions and offers, so it's up to you to do your due diligence, especially when you're promoting their offers with your money.

Your experience actually proves that this course works. You just happened to be promoting a wrong product. It was mentioned countless times in the course, newsletters and emails that we have to make sure certain criteria are met before promoting a product. One of the criteria is to promote the right products from the right affiliate networks. Recommending an affiliate network does NOT mean that you can promote ANY product from that affiliate network. It just means that that affiliate network has more potential products to promote with this course. Please keep that in mind when you promote next product.

Hey DocVogel, really sorry to hear you got banned from your network. I would try and email then and get your account reinstated. I got suspended from one network but I managed to get it back plus commissions. I sent them a long a** apology letter and they were pretty cool about it.

To be honest I didn't realize I was violating any terms, since I usually (now always!) take a screen dump of offers I'm promoting and make sure I can actually TM bid.

If you don't manage to get your account back, then oh well, sh*t happens as they say. Forget about it, move on and promote something else. Make sure you can TM bid though!

This stuff does work folks... and you can be making a lot more than the $1000 - $2000/mo I'm seeing in the thread... if you put the right spin on it

Here's a tip:

You don't have to promote the same offer you're buying traffic for. I can actually guarantee you'd make more $$ using these same campaigns but promoting different offers. Think bait and switch.

Anyways, this stuff does work folks. I can vouch for it and I haven't even seen the WSO lol

Bait and Switch ? are you referring to bidding on competing products to the offer you want to promote so you dont bid on the products name of the offer you are promoting. (I see that on review affiliate sites that bid on lots of products and then compare/recommend 1 specific offer but not sure how that converts if sending direct to the offer you are promoting without a presell landing page. )

Yes - predisposing the customer to the offer is a big part of it. It's just about finding the highest converting offer that's related to the product you're bidding on. Then it's only a matter of conveying to the visitor why that offer is superior. Conversions are exponentially higher using this method as opposed to direct linking to the offer.

I'm following the gist of what you're saying but not the specifics. Can't tell if you're creating some sort of intermediate landing page or conveying the message in your ad and direct linking to the alternate offer.

Could you provide a simple "Widget A vs. Widget B" example to clarify?

Oh, and it gets about 1000 visitors a month and has a short domain name that, although domain people would relate it to domains immediately, doesn't necessarily have to be about domains, can apply to anything internet related...a plus there.

It doesn't matter much what the website is about as only as it has decent content and some traffic. (BTW, the website is also not required but recommended.)

It really depends on the actual website. Are all the articles well written? Please make sure they are not computer generated articles (autoblog articles). Is the design good? I would judge the site based on the two factors if there is not much traffic.
