I have a review blog since 6 months doing fine with SEO, as all my posts ranks high in google. But recently I have come across a problem, when I see indexed page in google (using this link : http://www.google.com/search?q=site:....com&as_qdr=d3) it shows same post for 2 times like this
1) http://www.xyz.com/mybestpost
2) http://www.xyz.com/mybestpost/feed

In google search result only natural post as indicated 1st in the above examples appears. But if you try to check indexed post using this : http://www.google.com/search?q=site:wordpressthemedesk.com&as_qdr=d3" youn will see some post 2 times

I am confused if google will penalize for duplicate content or not. I also tried to add query in robots.txt file to stop indexing feeds, but then all my indexed links became zero when i saw in webmaster account, and new written posts were also not being crawled.

Please suggest me best solution.

If your rankings are good, then leave it as it is.

The best way to stop it is add a NOINDEX tag to your feed page.

Your new posts not being crawled doesn't have nothing to do with the feed page not being indexed. Hope that helps.

I've just finished running an SEO workshop, and we came across your page while doing some online research.

This one comment, you say in your copy, "-This service is as close as white hat you can possibly expect from a SEO service"...

The students were wondering...

Does that mean that you only do a "few" bad form black-hat things?

Alright here's a campaign that has been running for almost half a year:



Please note Serpfox only keeps record of the last 90 days of rankings.

This site was new when the client gave it to me the 30th of June 2012.

You can see how the rankings are kept stable for long term and NOT short term like some other SEO services out there.

You can see how the rankings can go down from time to time but again the long term effects are what matters IMO.

I just wanted to post a quick update.

Earlier this month, I purchased the (2) keyword plan for one of my new local websites. I am trying to compete with a local website in terms of keywords and local traffic. So, on Nov 2, the campaign started. One of my keywords was not anywhere, and the other was bouncing I think somewhere in the 300's. Well, as of today, I Googled my one keyword and noticed I was #5 with one of my keywords! Sweet! My other keyword is also doing well, as it shows it's #16 in Serpfox. Since it's a local site and I'm assuming no SEO being done on the other local competitor site, I'm hoping to at least hit the top spot. To me, this could potentially mean 22k hits a month from local traffic. Real happy about this service so far, as I was hesitant from past experiences working with SEO services, esp ones without a guarantee and without viewing of where the work is going. Trying to see if I will have funds so I can add this service to my other website so I can bump that traffic as well.

The second keyword did pretty well from the first few weeks, but the first keyword has struggled for almost 2 months before hitting what seems to be a very profitable keyword with a quite large number of searches per month.

I'm about to order from you - I'm just waiting on a couple of my clients to make up their minds as to how many KW they want to target. Did have a couple of questions for you that relates to them:
- one of the clients is about to do some work on their site (redo it). The site is about 6 months old and relatively simple and they want to make it over. do you see any problem with starting the campaign with you before they do this and having your campaign ongoing as they do this transition/work?
- anything you recommend to compliment your service? My clients are all advised to engage and post optimized quality content to their sites and social profiles regularly.

Local listings by Google and the organic normal results work a little bit differently, also yeah I know what you mean. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't. It's not really 100% controllable. Hope that helps.
