Gentlemen, you obviously listened to your market and developed something radically cool that would benefit IM'ers. Would love to buy but awaiting word that program is stable

I'll keep a watchful eye and will purchase when issues have been resolved

Congratulations on your WSO

I have this exact same error on one of my blog and it freezes firefox when I try to add a video.

Warning: call_user_func_array() [function.call-user-func-array]: First argument is expected to be a valid callback, 'tasticSetReferrerCookie' was given in /home/newstart/public_html/My-Web-site/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 403

I also have a zent error while my VPS is ok with the plugin helper.
I'm obliged to disable plugin through phpmyadmin on that site. Looked good in the video promo but not on my VPS. Too bad. asked for a refund.

Submitted 2 tickets but awaiting reply.

Thanks

PD: The error goes when I de-activate the plugin.

I'm using the FanBuzz Dev plugin on a WP Artisteer theme. All other plugins working perfectly. Please reply. Thanks.
Having the same problem and have a support ticket in for it. I am using Firefox browser. I also put a ticket in for the validation but I think it may be working though it does not tell you the validation was successful or anything. I just happened to see the video/fanbuzz options available when I go to a new post. So Dont know if the validation worked or not.

I fail to see why people are kicking and screaming with their problems (unless it's envy at such a popular WSO) IT WILL GET SORTED! but give the guys a break, I've been around for 54 years without SVP so another 24/48 hours ain't gonna kill me (I hope ;-)) while the niggles get worked out!

Totally AWESOME product!!!!!

Glad to hear you had no problems. Unfortunately for the rest of us. When you pay for something you expect to be able to use it. So if it's kicking and screaming, so be it. Everyone is entitled to emotion.
Can't wait to be able to give my review. I'm sure by next week I'll be able to take a test drive. Hopefully.

My validation did not work for the Simple Video Pro Dev plugin but activated for the FanBuzz. Maybe the FanBuzz OTO overrides the first plugin. Not sure?

Still awaiting a reply for my 1st ticket regarding plugin not activating.

I'm sure it will be great if they can iron out the glitches.

Try logging out of Wordpress.

Clear your browser "everything"... cookies, cache, site preferences, etc.

Open up IE (if you have it installed) and clear the cache and saved web info there too. (widows still ties alot to it that it's not suppose to).

Then log back into your Wordpress.

This has worked for me on earlier versions ( per Nick's suggestion ) and for other plugins too.

Hope it helps someone.

Disappointed! Not able to make it working on two of my sites

all kind of Errors.......

Warning: call_user_func_array() [function.call-user-func-array]: First argument is expected to be a valid callback, 'tasticSetReferrerCookie' was given in /home/public_html/xxxxx.org/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 403

Fatal error: Incompatible file format: The encoded file has format major ID 3, whereas the Loader expects 4 in /home/xxxxx/public_html/wp-content/plugins/a10-imaio/aioviraltoolkit1.php on line 0

You list many things "what Simple Video Pro Can Do For You:"
Do ALL of the features work in all venues, including on YouTube?

Please send PM as I'm not in a position to read numerous posts
to find a response. (with volume of posts, I really don't want to
be barraged with updates.)
Thanks!

That's a real shame that you had to get refund.

I hope that this issue can be fixed, as I don't want to get a refund unless there's no other alternative.

I think you are right here. (I will let Nick chime in to be sure.)

I do know for sure that FanBuzz INCLUDES Simple Video Pro, so the upgrade is really that, and not a new software. So, if you have FanBuzz activated and working, you already have Simple Video Pro and are good to go.

Once you install the plugin, then click install, nothing appears to happen, but do not worry. Everything is installed. Check your post area and you will see Video Pro is now part of your options area. I haven't tested it yet. I am still going through the tutorial. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up.

Seems like a great product but now a days we have to be aware of any legal issues and I think this is a bit of a border line product.
Anybody can sue anyone for anything that's just the way it is, but a lawsuit isn't likely to shut this down. There is absolutely no legal basis to even bother with paying attorney fees to sue for what... a similar product? In this space there are a few really smart video player plugin competitors: EasyVideoPlayer, SimpleVideoPlayer, LeadPlayer, etc. Each have their unique strengths & weaknesses. However, this WSO price relative to the set of features offered is second to none and that's why it's worth serious consideration. So, if you are into creating or leveraging the power of video on your site then this I can unequivocally tell you is the best value for this plugin at the moment. There is a 30 day money-back guarantee...no worries there. Just do what feels right. Best of luck!

The 2nd OTO was 97.00 and it consisted of a bunch of training for profiting from Video Pro. The 3rd OTO was 29.00 and it also had training just a lot less. I didn't purchase either. Sorry no review.

I agree, almost every product has a very similar competitor product! Look at how many similar Content Spinners out there, or similar backlink software, the list goes on and on!

This program looks awesome and I was totally sold, and this is the first time I'm jumping on an offer. Not that I don't have other video players, in fact I own advanced versions of EVP 2 and Traffic player.

Probably should have waited a bit as I would've saved myself unnecessary stress, considering I waited almost three days for this.

First, accessing the product was a hassle.

Now, it won't validate. Surprisingly, the simple video player pro works without validation, but the Fanbuzz won't work unless validated. For some weird reasons, it won't validate the paypal email address.

Support seems to be understandably slow, considering there'll be much tickets.

I hope this validation issue is fixed soonest.

The best thing is to wait patiently.... Really can't say I'm very glad to have jumped in so fast. Lesson learnt.

Hey Mike and Nick,
You guys nailed it with this one! In all the years I've been buying and testing stuff, this one rocks. Over deliver! And it's so intuitive. The how to videos were nice, but its just so easy to use. No brainer. A huge thanks for this and to Dave Guindon for bringing it to my attention! I might have missed it otherwise!

I totally agree. This is my last post here before getting back to it and giving it my total attention for the next 3 or 4 hours. This is so timely. I just started ramping up my video campaigns and now I can combine my awesome video creation skills with my new toy. Look out affiliate contests! There is gonna be a new champ in town. YESSIR!!!!

P.S. I've never seen so many posts in such a short period of time on any launch. Congratulations Nick!

Thanks Mike. Instructional video/instructions clearly needs to indicate things like this. There are enough system challenges as you are currently experiencing, but lack of information will add to unnecessary support tickets and frustrations all the way around if you do not supply your purchasers with the proper information. I purchased SVP and FanBuzz OTO, watched the instructional video and no where did it indicate the necessity of having to install only one of the two products if you purchased the OTO.

Try to buy using the Chrome browser - Chrome seems not to have the problems Firefox may have. I see buy buttons ok using Chrome. Hope this helps.

Attention: Youtube account holders

If it's not too much, could someone post a video showcasing these features on Youtube.com please? Thanks!

Unless I'm mistaken, Youtube prohibits the use of external buttons of links won it's video.

I had the same problem. I decided to go ahead and buy and can upgrade later.
I'm assuming we can right Mike/Nick?

What are the significant differences between this one and Custom Video Player by Matt McDonald. I already know his works on sites other than WP and he's a fun dude with an interesting accent (and I say that as a fellow aussie). But apart from that, what makes this more ground-breaking than matt's?

I'm just interested coz I was already considering purchasing CVP before this WSO launch swamped my email box and annoyed the bejesus outta me.

I was pretty interested in this and was on the Early Bird thingy - probably would have snapped up a copy when the price was lower if the page hadn't been playing up and I'd actually been able to see 1. The sales letter and guarantee and 2. THE ACTUAL BUY BUTTONS. LOL

But now that I've been forced to take a back seat coz I couldn't buy it earlier even if I wanted to and had time to consider it all I'm leaning more towards CVP to be honest.

Maybe someone who knows both can enlighten me.

And from what I've been reading I'll probably be close to $129 with all the OTO's/upsells.

This looks like a very good plug-in also, but I'm going to wait until all the bugs are out of the purchasing process - THEN I'll purchase.

I probably shouldn't say this, but I find it somewhat amusing (in a morbid sort of way) that the first 15 - 16 PAGES of comments were mostly from people who had not bought - only commenting on the sales page or video pre-sales pages because the offer wasn't opened yet. THEN on page 17 or so people started commenting on various purchase problems. Ok, I'm weird - I know. :p

I'm sure it will all get sorted out - but sometimes there is wisdom in waiting a bit before buying. When there is a big launch like this I start reading reviews on the LAST page first, because if there are problems, that's where they will show up. Fortunately, the plugin developers are getting good reviews from marketers I respect (Dr. Ben, Don W., etc.), so I'm confident all will end well, so don't give up.

Still, ...

Maury

I took the $45 dollar "Un-Limited" License, download and install went fine without watching any videos on how to install, if one has experience with WordPress it's a breeze, different install process but still a breeze.

My Ultimate test was to see if it worked with my WordPressProductLaunch Theme which gives OptimizePress and ProfitsTheme a run for it's money which it was not compatible with, but that's not new as for WordPressProductLaunch Theme because many plug-ins don't work with it, so I switched Themes temporarily to the standard WordPress Twenty-Eleven Theme and SVP worked fine, still have not actually posted anything with it yet but everything displayed and appeared ready for use upon switching themes.

As for the WordPressProductLaunch theme I give a thumbs down, has a lot of nice built-in tricks but it's too proprietary in not working with additional plug-ins and WordPressProductLaunch theme's support desk is "Null & Void", currently getting ready to switch to another theme.

K-Meleon (As My Day-2-Day Browser For WordPress)

K-Meleon is basically FireFox without the Speed Bumps, a very fast Browser that does not have the memory leaks, have not found anything that matches it yet, not even Chrome, Avant was a close match but goes to a purple screen all the time, but K-Meleon is my workhorse, it just keeps on going, no having to reboot or flush memory, a good plain simple fast browser, surprised it's not recommended more !

Just FYI,
I'm installing FanBuzz and it installs fine, but will NOT validate license.

Everyone:

There is indeed a small bug in the current version. Thank you to everyone who pointed it out.

Last week, there was a theme compatibility issue with Profits Theme. I immediately fixed the problem and the theme worked great! However... my fix was in one area and it affected one line of code in another area on another page. Thus the error.

I have fixed this issue and am publishing an update. The update will be immediately available as a download link to everyone in their settings screen (WP admin left nav -- InstaMagic -- Settings) - so you do not have to search for it.

The issue only arises when using the affiliate embed - it is in the link cloaking... again: this is fixed and an update is forthcoming. I know this is one of the biggest features of SVP, so I am eager to get it to you.

Please accept my apologies for this small over site in the code. If you have not heard from me in the support center, it is because I have been busy fixing the problem. I will get it out to you asap!

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

~ Nick

I fail to see why people are kicking and screaming with their problems (unless it's envy at such a popular WSO) IT WILL GET SORTED! but give the guys a break, I've been around for 54 years without SVP so another 24/48 hours ain't gonna kill me (I hope ;-)) while the niggles get worked out!

Totally AWESOME product!!!!!

The button display on the WF posts do not have anything to do with Simple Video Pro - the two systems are separate.

PD: The error goes when I de-activate the plugin.

I'm using the FanBuzz Dev plugin on a WP Artisteer theme. All other plugins working perfectly. Please reply. Thanks.

ok - overlays and buttons display via Simple Video Pro's features. Yes, if you use a YouTube video and run it through Simple Video Pro, you will have the benefit of all the functions in the YouTube video... but this works ONLY on your sites and on sites that use YOUR sites' Simple Video Pro embed code.

In other words: you cannot produce a new video file with SVP and upload it to YouTube - that is not what SVP was designed to do. It was designed as a better way to leverage your own videos and leverage YouTube hosted videos on your site - and using your SVP generated embed codes.

NOPE! That didn't work either...

Come on guys!!

Help a guy out - I submitted a support ticket using the link someone else had referred to but this is what most people would call a shambles! by any standards...

Any suggestions would be useful at this point in time
You should have a product access link in your WSO Pro email receipt. You should be able to get the product there. If you still cannot get it, please open a support ticket and I will get you a copy as soon as humanly possible - after I get the update out - that is my priority right now. Please be patient.

I also have a zent error while my VPS is ok with the plugin helper.
I'm obliged to disable plugin through phpmyadmin on that site. Looked good in the video promo but not on my VPS. Too bad. asked for a refund.
I'll be happy to honor your refund request - but may I suggest you give me a chance to help you -- it sounds like all you need is the most current version of the Zend Loader - which is free. Don't pass this up because of a simple server update issue - especially because the fix is free!

If you have the developer license, you can install it on your off-line client's WordPress sites. If they don't have WordPress sites, that may be better. Use Simple Video Pro on your WordPress site, set up client videos, and send them the embed codes - they'll be amazed at how you can put video on their site and have their banner ads, logos, splash images and buy buttons pop up at will! (content reveal does not apply to embed sites and the skin/frames to not display on embed sites)

Like the issue I resolved with Profit Theme (wich was just on one of the templates), I work hard to fix any issue that comes up with theme compatibility. I support this product like it is my child - thus not sleeping for over 30 hours.

NICK: I was over at the EVP site and for $129, you have an EVP branded player. To get the commercial version will set you back $204.
---------------------------------------------------------------------

And from what I've been reading I'll probably be close to $129 with all the OTO's/upsells.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
NICK: if you're comparing to the other guy - Simple Video Pro is where you need to stop - at $67 -- vs $204 with the other guys. The reason I say that is the OTO is a full set of viral tools (lock content until a user clicks Like/Google+/or FB Comments) along with video squeeze page/review page templates -- plus Amazon S3 timed link locking, no exit pop, design widgets, etc... for about 1/3 the price of the SVP fron-end. And the other offer is amazing and complimentary, but not part of this plug-in.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

This looks like a very good plug-in also, but I'm going to wait until all the bugs are out of the purchasing process - THEN I'll purchase.

I got a chance to hang out with those guys at an event in Vegas. They are real, and very good peeps - you're right: you can trust them.

Seems like a great product but now a days we have to be aware of any legal issues and I think this is a bit of a border line product.
Nope - this was built over the last 14 months. It started small and grew into an amazing package. A LOT of hours, sacrifice, sweat and tears went into Simple Video Pro. It is not going away. No issues there... there are a lot of 'players' out there - but only one Simple Video Pro..... did that sound cheesy? Well, it is true in any case...

Correct me if I am wrong, but don't the other guys use Flow Player? you can buy a branding license from Flow Player for $1400 or something like that...

...but then you cannot ask the other guys for new features, can you.... the timed HTML overlay was the result of a request from a marketer named Craig - only 4 weeks ago. And now it is in there! It has some growing up to do itself, and in another month, it will be completely utterly awesome! You will not see anything like that kind of response anywhere - because you're almost never talking to the programmer... until now.

I saw reference to Firefox not displaying images and video, etc recently.

Been there.

In Firefox I went to Tools/Addons/Plugins.

I disabled all the plugins.

On checking, all of the problems were fixed.

Then I enabled all of the plugins again.

And the problems were still fixed.

Everything fine now.

Good luck, C.

LOL Strange!! But I'm not having problems anywhere else, at least I wasnt!! Only on this particular launch and it seems to have resolved itself now - whatever it was. So I'll have to wait till (if) it starts happening again and try your approach then. Thanks.

Hi,

Looks great! Was just wondering..
As a video newbie, can you use this program to actually make the videos instead of using products like Jing, Snagit, etc., or is it used to just add all the neat features? If used from beginning to end result, how long can the videos be?

Can you add bubble quotes or notations to explain something within the video with this?

And, can you upgrade to developer's license or get the other upgrades at a little later time after original purchase? That would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hi Nick,

I was one of the lucky ones... I guess. Othe rthan PayPal hanging up on me.... the entire process went exactly as it should have and I picked up the Developer package just as desired....

Was wondering if you could give me hope on the following....

1) was a YES!
2) was a YES

I'm getting the impression that 3) and 4) are an NO.... My biggest hurdle in moving into video is that there is just too much complexity in the process. Too many steps with too many differrent tools for me to be expeditious for what should be a routine task...

Is there any hope that these sort of features might make their way onto the upgrade list or am I just way off base and hoping for something that has technological/integration hurdles that I don't see?

If so... maybe we can add this as a topic to the training.... if it's not already there?

Thanks for your consideration.

Cheers,
chris

1) ...IS a WP plugin....
2) ...has a developer license option
3) ...handles the upload to the hosting site (wherever that may be... YT, S3 or self... maybe more than one at a time) as part of the process
4) ...captures some of the key configuration and compression settings from a video related info product WSO from several weeks ago.... Note to self: gotta find that post....

Fingers crossed!!!!!

Chris
EDIT: Just to be clear... My questioon is similar to others that have been asked and answered. I HOPE though that it IS differrent and that I am not covering old ground. I absolutely understand that SVP was not intended as a tool for DEVELOPING videos. I am only hoping for some job aides in in the uploading/hosting and maybe formatting/conversion/compression side of things.... I also get that that second set of "hopes" might be a bridge too far, but.....

thanks!

I see some errors in posts that are related to conflicting plugins. People, in the past, have used far too many plugins in efforts to get their stuff out there. My suggestion is to follow the pre-flight check for your back end when installing this thing. Then... go out and disable the plugins that you no longer need. Never mind about cookie tracking plugins... and more referred plugins... and all that JUNK that just clogs up the backend. Keep it simple! I use only Akismet, WPSEO (Yoast), dean's permalinks, TinyMCE!!! (great one!), robots meta, WP Linkster, and WP syndicator. YOU DON'T NEED ANYTHING ELSE! That will clean up your errors.

You could also go into your cpanel and go to the sql database and click on "Repair database". That will keep it clean and well running.

I'm just a user who's been looking for a great product like this for years. This is going to simplify my marketing considerably!
