maderemark - correct - the videos played through SVP will not play through SVP on FB or YT. SVP plays videos that are already on YT or on a server like S3.

CTB: Glad you're a happy camper! And yes..... TMI... hahahaha

----- what is CTB so happy about?

-----

THE UPDATE IS RELEASED!

Current customers will have an email tonight or later this morning (depending on the system schedule) with details and a download link. New customers will automatically get the latest version.

All I will say here is that I tracked down every single issue I knew about, tested it on every site I and my off-line clients have and personally installed it and tested it on several SVP customer systems - including "problem" servers - and I made sure everything works really well on all of them... this is SOLID.

Of course, there are 4,000 Simple Video Pro owners... oh, wait: 5,400 counting previous customers - each with slightly different setups and configurations, so there may be things that need a tweak here and there... and I will be on it! ...but most of the stuff brought up here and in the support center are taken care of. It is golden!

I honestly and truly hope is works for everyone. I would love to hear some positive feedback here and in the support center (remember - to help me get to other people, please reply in the support center with CLOSEME if you are taken care of)... which by the way, I have been watching like a hawk... I will be in at about noon tomorrow... it is late and I am off to bed. Good night, everyone!

You can see, even with this latest fix (15), that on my HTML site, one fix is working, but others are still not.

On the WordPress test page here you see that all works great;
1-brushed skin
2-social media icons
3-buy button after a few seconds

http://kirbyscovers.com/all-you-need-is-love-test/

On my HTML site, after inserting the embed code you see ;
1-no brushed skin
2- partial social media buttons (no FBook and no Twitter image)
3-buy button after a few seconds

Classic Rock Songs By The Beatles
(scroll down a bit to "All You Need Is Love" - large skin)

I have a different player just above this one for the "All My Loving" ... (click image to preview) spot. Ive also tried a third player which has its limitations also.

Since I have over 1200 videos to change, I'd sure like to see this issue resolved before I dive in to revamp my site. Anyone else have an HTML site with similar issues?

I was able to get everything to appear on the "Classic Rock Songs". However, the page takes forever to download. The 1st time there was no fB or Twitter and all the other YT videos downloaded first. I refreshed the page (and waited another 30+ secs) got the fB and Twitter buttons with the other YT videos downloading after the SVP video had finished.

You may want to reconsider having all the videos load on the one page. Perhaps, try using an image of the video player that, when clicked, opens up into a full video via pop up .

Hi Rashell ... Yep .. that's part of the fix, use images as in the first video on that page vice youtube embed code on such a long page. May I ask what browser you were using? I'm not seeing FB or Twitter icons on the HTML page using Safari, IE, FFox or Chrome ... thanks.

Just a quick question does your tool also create video skins? Can we custom create and use skins? Does it resize video and also rotate to say a angle if we want these two features would be a great addon for next update?

I'm just now entering video marketing. Looks like a nice tool to add. I don't use WordPress (as of yet....LOL...but it looks like everything is heading in that direction, so I might need to look at it), so I'm just wondering if this works the same on HTML sites?

Best Regards,
Scott

TRYING MY PATIENCE
Share on:
fb share twitter share gplus share more share

I just received the "update" and went through all of the steps again. FANBUS/SVP package.

The install helper runs fine, and I get a properly optimized plugin file to upload.

I upload and cannot use the WP plugin install function.

I then use FTP and the files are installed, but the GREEN insert video button never appears in the WP editor.

I am on a Midphase server with all of the updates required for the plugin.

This saga started August 18th and still no resolution. I am sure Nick is a great guy and is doing all in his power to get this rectified, yet we (his customers) still cannot use what we paid for. Don't want to sound like a whiner here, but come on, this is starting to get old.

Is your WP the latest version? if so, have you tried removing the entrie install, and reloading?

Then you can see almost everything and how SVP is used - and the upgrade, too... then you can decide. Fair?

Sincerely,

This is the first time in the millions (it feels like it anyway) of WSO threads I've read that I have ever seen a WSO owner go to this length to help someone make a buying decision. Most would just say "buy it; you're going to love it!", or a similar 5 second reply. I've never seen anyone give access to the help videos inside their WSO just to help someone get off the fence. I'm impressed.

I know I sound like a shill, but Nick, neither you nor Mike know me, and I am not an affiliate (though I'm beginning to wonder why not). This is an honest response.

After reading quite a bit of the thread, (and buying your amazing product), I really feel kind of like a sports fan watching a particularly challenging match; one which takes every ounce of strength my team can muster, and I'm getting the thrill of seeing them pull off a win that seems nearly impossible. I really hope you have gotten a good night's sleep by now.

And I hope the small percentage of people who had support issues that didn't get resolved right away are starting to see what a wise choice they made anyway; and developing the patience to deal with the wait.

To those who have posted here expressing frustration with the speed of support, I advise that next time you buy a WSO which has something like 15 pages of feedback BEFORE THE LAUNCH, you might want to be prepared to wait a bit longer than normal before chiming in to add to the stress that the sellers are obviously under.

I know Nick said he would feel the same way, but I seriously doubt he'd be adding his impatience to the extreme stress of this kind of runaway success, like several people have.

Great launch guys; I am delighted for your success; I just hope you survive the launch to enjoy it once the dust settles!

does this replace just a video player too? Say I want to show a video and put the order button right on the video, will that work?

It seems to me that it is for affiliates, but will it work for the above? like if I am selling a service and want the order button to be on the video so they see the click here and a button is on it that would be awesome.

Thank You Guys!!!
Share on:
fb share twitter share gplus share more share

Just a quick message to say THANK YOU for a lot of things.

1. Creating such a smart visionary WP plug-in for such an attractive price.

2. Keeping your feet to the fire to make everybody happy with their software.

3. Patiently answering the same questions over and over - time, after time, after time, after time,... you get it!

4. Staying kind spirited with the individuals who obviously were off their medications or at the very least didn't get enough HUGS when they were kids.

Now for individuals who are on the fence about buying this plug-in, buy it or don't buy it, I personally don't care what you do - but if you don't buy it now I bet you'll regret that decision.

I say that because I believe when these guys get this thing exactly the way they want it, you will still be able to buy it, but not as a WSO at these prices. You'll pay them what the plug-in is worth at that time maybe $197 or more at retail!

Cheers everybody!

LollyGreen:

Nope - wrong thread, my friend.

Kirbyswinemar:

On the WordPress test page here you see that all works great;
1-brushed skin
2-social media icons
3-buy button after a few seconds
All You Need Is Love Test

Excellent - glad that's working for you!

On my HTML site, after inserting the embed code you see ;
1-no brushed skin
Right - the embed code only inserts the video -- otherwise, you get a LOT of extra data transfer and you may mess up the hosting site's layout.

2- partial social media buttons (no FBook and no Twitter image)
I think it may have to do with the fact that you are puttin 29 embedded videos on one page... And the other issues is that the video display is too small for the viral buttons.

3-buy button after a few seconds
Not sure what you mean, but again, the video display is very, very small for the buy button.

Classic Rock Songs By The Beatles
(scroll down a bit to "All You Need Is Love" - large skin)

There are a few things on the list before Linked in... so it'll be a while... first two:

Automating the use of AWeber and Get Response - making it easier to use them with the html for the overlay.

Making the SVP videos responsive (sizing to different mobile site widths)

and quite a few more more before Linked In, to be perfectly honest...

Can you PM me with a link? -- I will check in there next to see if you already have...

I am working on the re-sizing - it is #2 on my list... but not rotation... unless you mean on mobile...

Yes - we found an issue with iPad and fixed it. You can play the tutorial videos on iPad / iPhone if you want to test it... or this one: Not Just a Video Player

Sorry for not responding - trying to get priorities done first... This seems to be a PayPal issue - have you contact them?

Please open a ticket at RZM / Instamagic Plug-ins Support -- I will look for you - put INSTALL in the subject. I would like to personally install it for you so I can take care of any issues and see if it is your server or my code -- and either way, how I can make it work.

Wow - thank you! I would never want someone to buy anything from me taht they cannot use or don't need. I think that anyone in this biz should get Simple Video Pro, but some people need to start slow and take baby steps - and that's fine.

Short answer: YES! You can put a buy button or banner ad in for your own product! Same with everything else -- you coulde even make an on-line video store.... but don't put too many videos on one page.

Wow - thank you for the awesome comments - and for your trust.

UPDATE - Many, many people are replying in the support center with "closeme" - which means the update solved their problems.... I did not expect to solve everyone's issues - that is impossible - but now I can do a better job with those who remain.

So - if the update helped you, please open your ticket in the support center and reply with "closeme" - all one word - So I can find and get to the people who still need help.

Thank you!

Clickable Watermarks, Pay Pal Buttons, Overlay Opt-in's with reveal... All Awesome

I'll tell my subscribers...
Hi

Where is the demo? Any 'demo' links I click on my iPad play a video - nothing else, except one had a hyperlink at the end.

I have seen zero other features.

There are multiple posts requesting a demo, maybe I have missed the real demo links, or maybe the features do not work on an iPad.

Thanks CKventure

It always amazes me that popular WSO bring out the trolls. But what's really interesting is that 90% of these guys have 0 to 5 posts.

Weird Huh?

Absolutely not. Simple Video Pro does not provide any way to download videos from YouTube. It does provide a way to stream-play videos hosted on YouTube via the YouTube API.

This way, you can host your own videos on YouTube and play them in the player. Regarding all the fuss about embedding: at first, the thought process of our honest opinion was that if a YT user allows embedding, they are basically saying it is ok to use their video.... which seems logical. And when these videos are played via the API YouTube provides, the links and ads are stripped by nature of the API.... Then there is the issue of using such content under "fair use" laws....

However, I am not an attorney. Mike is not an attorney. We cannot give legal advice and have stated our opinion as such - not as legal advice. We have also stated that if you have questions, contact your own counsel.

With that said, if you are hosting your own videos on YouTube, and playing them with SVP, we have an awesome set of tools for you. In fact, we have built in tools for the specific purpose of driving traffic back to your YouTube videos and channel using the Pin-it button and YT Subscribe button.

Likewise, if you host your videos on your own servers or Amazon S3, we have an awesome set of tools for you.

If you plan to use other people's videos, then please ask permission from the content owner. That is the best way to be sure you are not violating anyone's copyright. Again - SVP does not allow you to download ANY video content from anywhere.... it streams video content and gives you tools to maximize that video content on your website.

Thank you,

Nick

Nick,

It's even better than that... Product suppliers now have the ability to provide generic maketing videos to their affiliates simply by posting them on YouTube.

Those affiliates can then personalize those videos as they desire using SVP.

Whoo Hoo!!

Slight clarification on one point --> It is violating YT ToS to strip the ads (which this player does/can do) and/or add your own ads and buy buttons to the content. It does not matter if you download the video or stream the video it is a violation of YT ToS to do these things. In-fact it's blocking and/or stealing revenue (or potential revenue) being earned by the content producers and YT when you strip the ads and/or add your own ad. YouTube shares revenue with content creators --> video pirates and this tool do not and that's the issue here.

sitting here with my electronic wallet open, but thinking there are less massively functional but proven alternatives offered this week.
Pretty much everything related to video and optins on the WF are designed to sell the buyer on the idea that features such as banner overlays, redirects, YouTube cover up, delayed optin and call to action, forcing people to share, tricking people to share, increase conversions.

But there is no proof that they increase conversions ANYWHERE. But do some research using Google search and some common sense and you will come to the firm conclusion that all of these features both annoy visitors and DECREASE conversions.

Unfortunately, a lot of IM product creators are in league together as JV partners to convince blog/website owners differently. The sale of products like these ONLY benefit the bottom line of the creators, not the buyers.

Now, there is something to be said for STYLE of a video player that matches the look and feel of your site, but that does not really help conversions either, but may help "bounce rate" to some degree.

Generally, people just want straight information and enough information to make a decision to buy or not buy. Products like these are distractive and annoying and get in the way of that IMO.

Why do so many people use popup blockers? They hate them. Why do so many people use ad blockers? They hate them. Keep using products like these and they are going to hate you too.

Ask any honest copywriter (and I mean the big boys, not these little fellers here on the WF, but most of the successful IMers here know it without a doubt) what is the main KEY to getting high conversions and they will tell you point blank: The Offer.

If you have a great, outstanding offer, it is going to sell - even if you have a plain-jane looking sales page, even if you have no video, even if you have no share buttons, even if your ad copy has some leaks.

But then good ad copy can increase sales quite a bit, and so can clear and professional video presentation. But without a great offer, you must then rely on ad copy persuasion, hype, lies, video tricks, redirects, share tricks and the like to try and get any kind of sale....

Nick, I hope everything goes good for you guys. This is really a good product and the way I see it is if they don't want others to use their video, true that feature on so it can't be copied, it's that simple. Each YT user has that feature and it should be up to them if they want others to copy, not the big G or YT.

All I know is that the big G and YT have gone crazy, not a good day for me either as I have over 100 sites and G has just shut down my adsence account...Ooooooooh!
No explanation and now this. Sounds like things are going to get tough as they took my money and really don't give a dam how they treat us. YouTube and G are the same and I think we should go elsewhere with our searches and advertising. Boycott...lol.

More like Sickening!

I'm not sure these individuals even buy product.

They never try to get a following of there own, on a thread of their own, dedicated to the issue that they appear to be so passionate about... they just invade popular WSO threads and lurk the posts for an excuse to comment.

Growing up as a kid I used to hear my dad say "opinions are like ass-holes... everybody's got one" so I guess it goes without saying - sometimes with free speech you're going to have to listen to an ass-hole every now and again!

Without wishing to accidentally create a sub-section of the thread;
(1) I agree that they key to the sales sequence proper is the Quality of the Offer
( I just spent Sat going thru Mark Joyner's 2005 "Irresistible Offer" Classic )
(2) That said, I have seen Video Players incorporated into a sales sequence that adds value
by containing specific elements end to end. I like the simplicity of the Video Commando
( Player ) sequences which are really cut down and make sense
(3) With 4000+ sold its about time the buyers started spitting out which sequences work
(4) Credit to marketer StormWeBent for showing some example of how he would use the
Player and making clear his marketing objective in using it.

Thanks Nick for clarification.

Actually what I mean is can we edit downloaded videos from youtube to put buy now button etc and I know your software don't download videos from youtube...

So your software works great for our own videos. I will try it soon.

Thanks again

What is the purpose of "for admin use" in Video #1?

Also, I configured for the player to start from 3 seconds onwards, but the player still continues to play the YouTube video from start without sound. I was able to see the opening sequence of the video from 0-3 seconds. The video continues to play with sound from 3 seconds onwards.

Not sure if this is working according to how you intended. Thoughts?

Video is such a powerful thing, when people say pictures are worth a thousand words. Videos must be worth a million, taking video to the next level is an amazing feat.

I'm anxious for the release, it's going to be a very exciting next couple of days being one of the first to put this new video platform to use and be at the head of the pack in using it to profit online. I've already got tons of ideas in my head stirring around how this can be profitable. It's really amazing really.

Here's some food for thought for anyone wondering right now "How can this make me money?". You see how you can embed an opt-in form IN the video? Okay let's say you have a video that gets shared a few times, perhaps even goes "viral". If you have a video that's going viral that has your opt-in form... that's potentially the start of a MASSIVE list that you can profit off of.

That's just ONE of the opportunities this can bring you. That one feature alone, can potentially make you a millionaire, I'm not even joking.

Don't take this stuff lightly guys, this is some big stuff and will change some people's lives.

Great product Mike and Nick, I'm proud to say I'm here for Mike's first ever WSO. I never thought I'd see the day!

Cory

EDIT:

So I've been making use of this since this morning when I picked it up... really this is truly a killer product. I vote for it being best of the year, this has been the single best investment I've made on WarriorForum so far.

I'm not a clickbank guy, I never have really been able to grasp the whole clickbank concept and this was the first REAL time I delved into it. Well here's my stats so far making use of Simple Video Pro:

EDIT 2: Updated screenshot, my profit so far past 3 days, last day was just sitting back working on other stuff so not as much as first 2 days.

10x my investment in the first day? I think you guys call that a homerun.

Not only did I get these sales, but I've also managed to start growing a list in this niche that I've never dealt with. This is a random niche that I chose to start my testing, who woulda knew testing would bring profits alone?

I used an old opt-in form for testing purposes... looks like it's my new list for this sub-niche. Hoping to continue grow this list then frequently mail out new products that release in them. I can see a very good profit coming from this!

Great product Mike and Nick, thanks for providing it for us at such a reasonable price.
Hio Viofx,

Impressive sales you show!

Would you mind sharing how you did this?

I mean you started on a new niche, the product was just released and you managed to get earn a lot of money?

- Did you start a new blog where you place this video?
- How did you get the traffic so fast?
- Were the sales made only from direct video referal? (No email marketing)

Please help your fellow warriors with your amazing system!

Thanks
