Well, I just got out of hospital yesterday - and I was in no mood to be told that "…Video Players are about to become Obsolete…".

It was no surprise to hear that 70% of the web uses media… I'd have guessed more.

It seems as though I have had a life long struggle with video players - true everyone know about the power of video - but until now, we also knew how awkward it was to get video playing reliably.

I'm hoping that's all in the past now with Simple Video Pro.

I think it sends all other players back to the time of the dinosaurs, eh?

Watching the video Mike had me at "…plays on all the popular platforms…" - what they mean is PC's, Mac's, & mobile devices - Yeah, and even iPad and iPhone.

I know my clients don't want to miss the boat - but when Mike said it wasn't just a video player - it's a complete video marketing platform, I can say now that both my clients and I will be thrilled.

Simple Player Pro has 30 new features others don't have… I didn't count them all but there seemed a lot!

Me I like to monetise video - so that's really cool.

And I have needed a better way to work with Amazon s3 and self hosted videos. Since forever…

Nice to know it YouTube is supported, along with banner adds, splash images, content reveal, html overlay, option form overlay & replace the logo - these are my immediate favourites!!!

But, when Mike said we also get Pinterest, Twitter & Facebook - well, I wanted to throw money at my iMac monitor there and then, to get the software now.

And, you know, there is plenty more - but those are my favourites, I'm so excited I think I need a lie down!!!

Sorry if I got a bit carried away but this news has really cheered me up ;-)

Everytime I try to host one of my own videos on my sites it seems I have issues with one plugin or another. Most of the time I just end up postin them on Youtube and then embed them that way.

If this can help solve that problem I'm sold. Unfortunatley this video isn't giving me enough detail of how this works.

As a user of video with more than 1200 so far hosted both on youtube and Amazon S3, this looks pretty cool. Im using two different players at the moment and as Im doing a site revamp, the timing here looks great. Thanks Mike for the heads up on this one.

This video player could launch many a dabbler into full-time marketing careers, as so many avenues can be utilized by using this one player. Affiliate links never had it so good!
It is a "foot in the door" or icebreaker for any person selling an idea that wants to stand out as "cutting edge". I have GOT TO have this as soon as it launches. Katie bar the door!

I use EVP extensively and this looks like it goes way past what they have done. At one time they were cutting edge, but no more.

Particularly like the ability to embed the affiliate links and host on YouTube.

Like the name for sure! Simple Video Pro has a certain ring to it. It even sounds good as SVPro.

I have tired many different platforms over the years and it seems everyone of them come up short in one way or another. Keep ending back up at YT.

This day in time, you better have a video that plays on smartphones, android tablets and of course the iPhone / iPad. Many of the current platforms fall short in this area. Watching your promo video, it appears you guys have this covered.

Love to see more.

As someone who's beginning to use video to market my own products, this player is very intriguing. Imagine how clean a page would look to be able to embed social links and purchase links right in the video itself. That means the video can be larger than ever because you don't have to make as much room on your landing page for the other components.

My favorite feature is most certainly the ability to host anywhere you want (including YouTube) and remove the logo if you want and STILL have these embedded links.

A player like this would cause me to rethink all my landing pages, to redesign and go for maximum efficiency and FOCUS--being able to point videos to a purchase right in the video is invaluable!

PS And it works on mobile devices, too?! Wow! This I've got to see.

Wow, this is amazing. I'm currently using the following two, but I have a feeling that it won't be for too long.

The following features of Simple Video Pro are my favorite and should help any marketer.

The facts that you can embed affiliate links, social media buttons (make 'em go viral), and Paypal buttons on the video, the fact that you can use this on self hosted, s3 hosted as well as Youtube videos, HTML overlay etc. etc. are all mind blowing features.

I can think of several uses for setting the start and end points as well!

Does Simple Video Pro has the feature where after the first few seconds the video is automatically locked and you have to like it/tweet it to unlock the rest of the video? I wonder if that's what "content reveal" means on the video? This and other features take video marketing to a whole new level.

Just checked out your video, it looks awesome. Videos are highly relevant on the net and are not only here to stay but will become the staple diet on all platforms! If this package lives up to this prelaunch video it has to become a product leader and a complete game changer!

I like the feature that allows affiliates to embed their own links in the videos and you’ve even made your video player tablet- and smart-phone-friendly. Putting all this capability in the hands of an ordinary Joe – it has to be a winner.

Like several others in this thread, I already own EVP and CVP, but neither has fully lived up to my expectations for features, simplicity, elegance.

Your outstanding set of marketing features [social media integration and 'proper' link embedding - Yes!; multi-platform creation and viewing - awesome!; custom start and stop times - about time someone made this simple!] will finally give us the power to get stuff done simply and fast without jumping through techie hoops, And I have to mention your skins - they're beautifully perched on the high-end of visual appeal.

I'm a big believer in solutions that enable compelling content with great options for audience interaction, and it looks like you've really raised the bar with Simple Video Pro.

Wow! This is going to set marketers apart from those who don't have this. Just with my business I can see the the optin forms, PayPal buttons and embedding affiliate links will be priceless. No more stupid phrases like "click the link to your left" or "enter your email in the form below". I don't want them to shift their eyes away from what has their attention already. To be able to present it to them right there in the video while their focus is already on the box is awesome!

I have EVP2 and it works well, but has several drawbacks and is a little cumbersome to set up and use. PLus there's a lack of skins - they all look close to the same.

I'm really looking forward to this launch.

Looks like my favorite feature is going to be the affiliate link with the embed code, it seems to be so simple for affiliates to promote videos I create, with their link, and it's cloaked too!

Complete Video Marketing Platform

Intriguing concept, I may have been in the dark ages and missed something as I have never seen a complete video marketing platform with such in-depth features.

Very Exciting concept and to make it as simple as possible is a task in a half but what I have seen thus far in the video introduction the GUI (Graphical User Interface) looks the biz with simple to use straightforward features, if it has tutorial pages/videos it would be the icing on the cake, so to speak, for the end user.

The possibilites for this product for the promotion of IM products, or any other niche for that matter, are absolutely exciting, combining social media , WOW, got to pick my jaw off of the ground.
