"Why Do IMers Like to Piss Off Their Customers?", copywriter asks

Attention: Internet Marketers Who Want To Make A Good Living

Why Are You Slapping Your Customers In The Face With Obnoxious Sales Copy?

Ridiculous claims. No proof. Not a single drop of sincerity. Red font and flashing arrows that hurt your eyes.

That's your typical sales page out there.

They're obnoxious, aren't they? And I'll let you in on a little secret...

Your customers can't stand them either.

That's why most “internet marketers” are earning peanuts. They treat their customers like morons...shouting at them through the screen.

Somehow, somewhere...IM took a wrong turn. It's like everybody forgot the cardinal rule of advertising: respect your customers. What a quaint idea, huh?

Well, it's about time somebody brought a little class and dignity to internet marketing.

Just imagine...
  • What if we treated your customers like intelligent human beings?
  • What if we articulated the benefits of your product with legitimate claims?
  • What if we used a bit of reason to sell (yes, people can think)?
  • What if we cut out the “cheap” attention getting tactics and cheesy graphics?
  • What if we got an an emotional response from them...other than anger?

You think we might be able to get a few more sales? Try a lot.

My name is John Lloyd. And I've made it my mission to bring some “old school” charm back to copywriting.

It's not because I'm a nostalgist. But because I know it's the most effective way to sell.

Instead of treating your customers like mindless drones with wallets, I speak to them like a friend.

My copy is sincere, honest, and subtle in the “sales talk”.

This has an astonishing effect. Your prospects will actually LIKE YOU.

'Likeability'. That's a concept that's foreign to most internet marketers. But it's absolutely crucial IF you want sales.

People only buy from those they like and trust. It's up to the copywriter to create those positive feelings in your prospects from the get-go. And most abysmally fail in that regard.

That's why I've written this WSO. I'm fed up with all the crap sales copy.

There's some sort of “herd mentality” going on, where everybody is writing the same sales page. They all have the same LOUD obnoxious copy that pisses off any sane human being.

To be fair, most internet marketers just don't know any better. They look at what everybody else is doing, and think it must be working. It's like lemmings following other lemmings off a cliff.

Be smarter than them. 95% of those poor chumps aren't making any money anyways.

Take advantage of a cornerstone advertising principle. Differentiation.

In other words, when 95% of internet marketers are using “hype tactics”, do the opposite.

When you treat your customers with respect, you'll be wowed by the reaction (and results).

How do you accomplish this in your copy? The answer deserves a book. But in short:
  • Talk to them sincerely (as if speaking to a close friend)
  • Empathize with their situation
  • Provide valuable information IN your copy
  • Back your claims with facts and research
  • Give them logical reasons to buy (to justify their emotional impulse)
  • Make subtle suggestions instead of hard sells (let them sell themselves)
Copywriters who can write this way are as rare as hen's teeth. It's a borderline superpower.

So what are your options?

Well, you could learn how to do it yourself. Studying 20+ hours a week for 6 months could get you to a pretty decent level (and I'd gladly tell you what books to read ).

But most of you probably don't have time for that...

No problem. It just so happens I've finished a long-term agency contract, and my schedule's opened up.

Sticking to my word, I'm not going to bullshit you with false scarcity tactics like, “Only 2 spaces left closing in 27.445 hours”. :-)

I have a clean plate at the moment. So this a momentous opportunity for a few warriors to get some hype-free copy that sells AND makes your prospects think you're a good guy (which you are, right?)

To keep my workload manageable, I will have to end this offer at some point. Could be next week, could be tomorrow.

But if you have a project in the pipeline, why delay? The sooner you get some good copy up to test, the sooner you can bring in the dough-ray-mi.

Now, to keep things simple, I'm limiting this offer to ONE service: creating a sales funnel from the ground up. That's what I specialize in, and that's what I enjoy. With this “package”, you'll get a:

  • Landing page (usually $800+)
  • 7-Email Autoresponder series (usually $325+)
  • Opt-in page (usually $275+)
  • PPC ad copy (usually 125$+)

That's a complete sales funnel that if bought piece-by-piece would cost you $1525.

You'll get the whole thing for $650. That's right, less than half.

What's up with the crazy discount, you ask? My answer might sound a little fruity, but it's true nonetheless.

I genuinely enjoy helping entrepreneurs realize their ideas.

There are many talented people out there trying to make it online who can't afford the 5-figure copywriters. And they're getting fleeced by everybody else.

If that's you, then this is your chance to get your business off the ground.

What's more, by working one-on-one with me throughout the process...you'll gain insights on how to build a more effective sales funnel for future products.

To put it bluntly...it's a damn good deal. It's an investment that will pay you dividends for years to come.

So what to do now?

Some of you have time-sensitive projects and are eager to get the ball rolling. If that's you, click the Paypal button below. I'll get in touch with you as soon as payment is received.

On the other hand, if you have any questions or concerns before signing on, I'd be glad to answer them. You can reach me via:

Please bear in mind...I don't know how long I can keep this WSO open. It's a generous offer as you can see. And no doubt, a lot of people are going to take me up on it.

So if you want effective hype-free copy that sets you apart from all the clueless internet marketers, don't put this off. Allow me to help you get your business on the right footing --- today.

To your inevitable success,

John Lloyd --- Writing classy copy out of Destin, Florida
