What are your rates?

Prices vary, however, you should expect to pay between $0.01/word - $0.05/word for most content. Advanced assignments may cost more. Keep in mind that we're not a cheap content mill churning out garbage. We expect a lot out of our writers, and they are compensated appropriately.

Is your content 100% free of grammatical mistakes?

It is very difficult in this day and age, particularly with varying writing styles, to be 100% certain that there are no grammatical mistakes in an article. We can say with confidence that our higher priced content will be very, very close to mistake-free. The cheaper articles and jobs, $0.01-$0.02/word may contain a few errors. However we do still feel that this, and all content that we sell, is still very good stuff.

What is your turnaround time (TAT)?

If requirements are pretty straightforward and the price matches what you are asking for, then turnaround time is typically less than 24 hours.

The following factors can increase turnaround time:

• Unclear, incomplete, or confusing requirements. If your requirements don't make sense or need clarification, the job will be returned to you for such before it is given to our writers. All new requests are reviewed by Contentgather staff to make sure that they're complete. If anything is missing in the initial request, that can cause delay.
• Complex or advanced requirements. If your requirements are extremely specific...like you're requesting something with personal experience in Brazilian botany, or you require that somebody spend 30 minutes reading an autobiography on the person they are writing about...these things can increase turnaround time as well. Primarily because it reduces the pool of writers who are eligible or interested in the project.
• Low pay. You do not have to pay a lot of money for quick turnaround time. The pay just has to match the job requirement. If you're not asking for anything out of the ordinary, and you really need very basic, but not special, content, then $0.01/word is likely enough. As soon as you start to ask for the writer to do extra work, then you should consider increasing the pay. If you leave the pay low and ask too much out of the writer, this too increases turnaround.
• High writer/talent level requirement. When you submit your request, you can specify which "level" of writer you would like (we separate them into tiers). If you want your content ASAP, you might want to select the lowest tier. This goes out to the most people, and the lower tier writers are likely willing to gobble up projects faster. The competition at that lower tier is higher. The top tier stuff is not the same. There, a writer's time is very valuable, and there are not as many writers competing for work. Job requests can sit in those higher tiers a bit longer.

The common theme here, is that turnaround time is all about how long it takes to "convince" a writer to accept your offer. Once a writer accepts, they are only given 8 hours to deliver.

The ultimate "trump" card to speeding up turnaround time is always going to be pay. If you ever want to assure yourself the fastest turnaround time, just up the pay. Ultimately, if you are offering enough money, somebody is going to take you up on that offer regardless of the requirements. This is not to say that the only way to assure yourself good turnaround is to pay up, but the option is always there. We have had plenty of $0.01/word articles delivered within hours. The requirements, of course, very basic on those.​

What kind of rights do I have to the content that I purchase?

Complete and total ownership rights. This includes the ability for you to modify, redistribute, and label yourself as the author.

Where are your writers from?

Everywhere. We do not require that writers live in a certain country or use English as their primary language. These restrictions are unnecessary because there are some great writers out there living in countries where English is not widely spoken. Our vetting process is solid, and it is through that process that we are able to eliminate any writers who have poor English grammar.

That said, we do have a select pool of native English writers. If you would like to send a request directly to them, that is always an option.

What exactly do you guys write?

Primarily stuff like articles, blog posts, how-to's, product reviews, and press releases. However, if you have something not in this list that you would like us to take care of, please ask!

Can you write about ___________?

Probably. We have a very diverse set of writers and can cover just about any topic. However, if you have something really weird in mind, you can always run it by us first.

Here's a mini review of the service, which generally gives me positive views and results overall. I've ordered a few custom jobs and so far I like the experience (as a buyer):

What I Like

- You can create a custom job, if you want to have someone writes a content for you. Or, you can go to the Marketplace and pick on an article (nicely placed to fit in different categories that match your site) for a quick content to publish

- You can pick from different writers' categories/tiers (Based on the number of cents per words offer). The cheapest ones have lots of writers. In my experience from ordering a job from them, there were a few grammar and spelling mistakes but you get what you paid for. They also don't seem to research the content properly but considering it'd take long to research properly, it's understandable because you're paying cheaply

- Going to the 2nd tier writer (without paying much more), my experience got better. Content was well-written and I was really happy with it

- I like how transparent the service is (you can see the writer's profile, ratings, send a message while working with them, etc) and also see the next point:

- I appreciate to be told that they have tried as best as their can to make sure the content is
unique (checked through Copyscape Premium) and take actions when the writers are being naughty or not up to standards. There was no "100% guarantee" label everywhere - which honesty and integrity I appreciate. This keeps me in peace knowing they are focusing on the service and not in just making money out of you

What I Don't Like: I prefer to pay per content as they are being requested, rather than having to add funds to my account first (and there is a $0.50 fee if you deposit less $10 to your account)

Overall, I like how I can pick what I want (a custom content, a quick content to fill in my blog as a news while I'm busy, etc) and also the quality I want from the article (based on the tier of writers I pick). It's also a complete system so rather than having to send email threads or private messages, I can do it on my own and everything is well recorded in my account history.

For any job request, we offer an editor review for an additional 10% onto your order price. If you select this option, one of our staff editors will pick up the writer's content before passing to you. We'll check for uniqueness and also correct any grammar mistakes that we find. This is really a great option to select when working with the lower tiers of writers, because our editors can take a piece that's just average and give it quite a bit of polish. We're not just correcting grammatical mistakes, but in some cases we'll swap out words and change sentence structure to enhance the article.

So on uniqueness, we make it abundantly clear to our writers that everything must be unique. It's all of our Terms and all over the pages that they submit content - bolded in all of its glory. All pre-written/Marketplace articles have gone through Copyscape, and Custom Jobs are if you select that 10% option when you submit your request. If you do not select that option, the content goes straight to you and does not go through Copyscape.

We do our very best to screen and check for uniqueness. We'll even perform some manual checks by sending multiple strings through Google to check for plagiarism - in addition to Copyscape Premium. If a new writer is found sending in copied content, they are banned immediately. If an established writer does, they get a very stern warning, a large negative mark on their account, and very few, if any, strikes left. We take it very seriously at Contentgather, but you're right in that we simply cannot guarantee that everything is unique. We do everything in our power to stop and protect it, but we do not control our writers' every move. If one of our writers ever sends you something that was copied and you find out...let us know, and we will address it very quickly.

When you submit a custom request, you can absolutely pay as you go. See attachment. $50 job request, only $31.30 in the current balance, leaving $18.70 remaining to be paid. From that request page, you are taken straight to PayPal to pay the remaining $18.70, and when complete, sent back to the job request to pay. No need for pre-funding.

This is a nice marketplace which matches writers who want to bid on topics / niches they enjoy writing about, meaning you have the possibility of hiring a writer who is an expert in the field you're looking for content in.

Ordering process was easy, put in details, add any further instructions and submit the request.
Writers have the chance to review your requirements and then accept the work.

The uptake was prompt, I had set a fair price per word and wordcount.

The finished article came through quickly You then have 3 days to go through and if happy, you accept the order.

The article itself was very good, written in a tone as requested.
Fully researched it flowed nicely and was ready to use straight onto a main website.

I was lucky enough to get a review copy and I'm glad I did.
Content Gather remind me a lot of iwriter but there are two differences, one good one bad.

The good: The quality of writing is some of the best I've seen at the price point. There are the occasional typos and such but overall the articles have been informative and well written with a fast turnaround. They are much higher quality than articles I have order at the same price from other writers.

The bad (which isn't actually that bad): The way the website is set up, you can submit custom jobs. You fill in some info like writer level, niche etc. and write instructions. this is fine and takes less than a minute. What I don't like is if you want to request a bunch of articles on separate topics but in the same niche, writer level, length etc. you have to fill out a form for each article request, instead of just giving a list of topics/keywords.

This is only a minor problem though and I've already been ordering more articles because of how pleased I am with the ones I got from the review copy.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for fast well-written content.
