PHP/MySQL and .NET/SQL Server

Dear warriors,

If you're looking for an experienced developer, a person who is able to take care of all your scripts development, don't look further!

Here's what I can do for you:

1. PHP development:

- I can do straight PHP/MySQL. Great for small pages with few functionalities or very large sites where performance is paramount!
- Development on frameworks like CakePHP, CodeIgniter. Excellent to develop large scale sites on top of an existing infrastructure.
- Wordpress plugins. Yep, your OWN wordpress plugin!
- Drupal modules. Great to build your own dynamic website quickly and economically.
- DLGuard customization (IPN repost for example). Who doesn't need a more flexible and smoother sales process?

2. .NET Development:

- Desktop application with .NET 2.0, winforms or WPF. Excellent for software that need to be installed on your customer's machines.
- Website development with ASP.NET or through framework like ASP.NET MVC or DotNetNuke. For those of you who prefer the windows stack for their dynamic websites.

I have been developing software for more than 12 years so I know software and I am ready to bring my expertise to help those of you who need custom development.

Here's the way I work:

- I always stick to my estimates. Once I give a price, it's written in stone and I won't bill a dollar more.
- For bigger projects, sometimes hard to estimate if precise specs are missing, I bill hourly and I send an end of the day report on what I worked on.
- If I work for you, you will be able to contact me by IM or phone (I'm based in the US, Florida).
- You'll know precisely when I will work on your project.
- You get full support even if the bug (very rare ) occurs 6 months later.

Now, what I ask:
- I do this for a living, like everybody, I have a rent to pay, kids to feed, and I need to pay for my beers (after work hours of course), so please, don't ask me to work on your 5 hours "quick-fix" for 10 bucks. I know countries where that could work but here in sunny florida, it doesn't!
- When you ask for an estimate, please send me as much details as you can, software is pretty difficult to estimate even with good specs, so imagine without. If you need assistance for the specs, we can agree upon a fixed price and we can work on them together.
- For small projects, less than a week, I ask for a payment of 30% upfront. For bigger projects, we can define a payment schedule that will be part of the agreement.
- My base rate is $30 USD/hour.

You can find more information about my experience here: www.patricelevexier.com

If you have any questions, you can use the contact form on my website, or PM me.

Thanks!

Patrice

Hi Patrice, how's it going?

I'm in the process of finding a web developer for my next software product and I really like what you wrote about your self and your workflow.

I have created several software products already but the biggest problem I was always facing was that the programmer did not understand the main benefit of the software. And by this I mean - what's the main benefit my customers will get from this software.

So my main concern is - do you understand marketing and know how a software feature translates into a customer benefit?

I understand programming to a point t think how the software COULD work in order to achieve the desired function.hat I can theoretically.

That's why I already know a lot about how the software should work. This means we could easily communicate and understand each other.

I could send you a detailed description of the software if you want.

Thanks and have a great day!
