“Hugh is one of the best I’ve seen going around in many, many years. If you want copy THAT SELLS and you want it at a fair price then Hugh is your number one pick. I would personally rank him in the top 5 copywriters in Australia.Try him, you’ll be delighted.”

Here's the thing folks. I'm up front about this and I don't want to waste your time.

I do NOT write $197 or $297 sales letters. There's plenty of people here who do, so if you don't have a proper budget for a copywriter set aside then go check them out.

I mean, how can you write really great sales copy for that kind of money? Gary Halbert once said that you don't pay a copywriter a lot of money for the copy, you're paying them for the hook. The big idea. And to come up with the special angle to build your sales copy around takes time. It takes digging and research.

It's the difference between a leisurely drive to the shops and racing around a racetrack.
My copywriting puts you in TOP GEAR so YOU do the overtaking.

When I write sales copy I spend a few hours going through the questionnaire you fill in. It's 24 questions and I don't write a word without it being done. And I also go through the other stuff I ask for too, like your product, your personal story, testimonials, success stories and the story behind your product. And of course industry statistics, newspaper articles and other credible sources of information.

I go through it like a crazed archaeologist on an ancient Egyptian dig. Sifting through everything. Pulling out point after point after point.

And after a while the big idea starts to come out. Sometimes it's slowly, other times it just hits you when you least expect it. But it's there in every product.

It's not until the big idea comes out
that the rubber meets the road.

So after all this research I might spend a couple of hours planning a sales letter. Looking through my template collections and massive swipe files to find the structures. Then I go through my list of copywriting clicks (I've got over 30 of them) to see which ones are relevant and are going to get response.

And finally I've got a structure. I've got a big idea. I've got a headline, an opening and a close and I'm ready to write. I've got a fistful of proven, profitable strategies in my head that few people know and even fewer use.

So now I write, and I write and I write. Then I edit furiously. Print your sales copy and read it out loud. And edit again (I find this edit can take 2-3 hours on its own). Then I go back to the opening page and rewrite it until I can't stand the sight of it.

Then I ask myself...
"Have I REALLY got the big idea that's going to make you money, and leave your competitors tossing and turning in despair?"

I damn hope so, because if I haven't it's back to work until its there.

And even when I send it to you for review I'm still waiting anxiously for your feedback. Have I REALLY got it? Because if its not right it's back to the drawing board to rewrite again and again. As many times as I need to to get it spot on.

Then I give it to you, with advice on how to set it up, and when it goes live, I review it...again.
I can't deliver good copy
for under 200 bucks
and I wont even try.

Sorry, but that copy's got my name on it. And for $200 bucks seriously I'd barely get through making notes on your questionnaire.

And that's OK, because everyone starts somewhere and there's a copywriter for every need.

But I'm here for all the Warriors ready to take the next step and invest some serious money into their project.

“We were very impressed with the level of professionalism and high quality of service delivered by Hugh. Although we had little experience in writing sales copy, Hugh guided us through the whole process, and made it very easy to complete the project. His work was very detailed and was always completed on time. Hugh went above and beyond to understand our requirements and created a product that exactly matched our needs. I would highly recommend Hugh for anyone looking to bring their business to the new level with the help of a high quality sales copy.”

Look. I know I'm not everyone's cup of tea. And I'm not the budget price writer you might be looking for. And I don't sugarcoat what I say. You want to make money, and I ain't going to hold back if I think it'll cost you. So if you aren't ready for that then that's no drama. I'm not for everyone.

But if you want to find out how to take the next step, or you've got a serious project and you want a serious writer on board then get in touch with me.

PM me or email me at hugh@salescomefirst.com.

I'll send you my copywriting questionnaire which you MUST fill in first. And then I'll put together a proposal for you which also gives you an option on the other things you might be missing.

Well, there you go. The ball's in your court now. Do you want to smash a winner or watch it bounce by? I know what I'd rather do and I know what my clients to.
