After spending 2 months writing my own sales letter and having it disapproved by Alex Jeffreys, my mentor, I decided to hire a copywriter.
I picked one in Odesk after a very exigent hiring process.
Unfortunately, after one month writing and rewriting my sales letter, it was not approved again and I had to cancel the contract and ask for a refund.
The copywriter itself refund me quickly, but Odesk's support was terrible and I really got refund after 3 weeks. So, I really don't recommend Odesk.
Then, I decided to hire someone here at WF and started a hiring process again!
My requirements:
- Be affordable
- Follow John Carlton's teachings
- Write as many revisions as needed until approved by my mentor Alex Jeffreys
- Have good samples and testimonials
Well, Aaron was my first choice but I wanted to be sure. So I compared him with other 6 or 7 copywriters.
After one week keeping contact with all of them and comparing minutiae, I decided for Aaron!
My decision could not be better!
He took 3 days to write the first draft and it was approved by my mentor.
If you don't know Alex Jeffreys, search his name in internet and you will understand what I'm talking about.
I mean, in just 3 days Aaron wrote a sales letter and it was approved by the millionaire Alex Jeffreys. And I know how exigent my mentor is.
Now me and Aaron are just changing some little details and I believe that I will be ready to launch it pretty soon!

I am about to launch my first info marketing product. It's a niche I've worked in for over 5 years offering a "done for you " service. I know my clientele, who my best affiliates are, the problems my product solves from A-Z.

I have read a lot of Dan Kennedy material and bought John Carlton's Kick Ass Copy Writing course. i feel my copy is decent, but not as aggressive as it should be.

A one hour consultation with John is $2,500.00. I need 9 additional sales to cover the expense of the consultation. With his credentials, I see this as a no brainier.

If I go this route, I will have all copy ready, from squeeze pages, prospect email marketing series, affiliates marketing series, sales pages, bonuses for pressure stacking, and everything else I can pull together.

Does anyone here have experience with John's one hour consultation? I like his style. I feel I learned more from his one "Kick Ass Copy Writing" course for 99 bucks than over $1,500 I have spent with various other systems.

Why hope when I can drastically increase my odds of conversion straight out of the gate? I know I will still need to split test, but with John's experience, I feel it's a must.

Any experience or feedback is greatly appreciated.

I might have to tweak it a little because I know my niche best, but damn him and his team (I assume he has one) produce some good articles. I ordered a product review and a blog post.
The product review was excellent. It was very detailed and engaging.
The blog post was pretty good, but not as good as the "product review".

Delivery time was a little disappointing but I didn't need them immediately so it wasn't a big deal.

I ordered them on Wed. 2/12 and received the review on Monday 2/17 and the blog post on Tue. 2/18.

Valentines day was on Friday 2/14 and Monday 2/17 was a National holiday here in the States so that may have added to the longer than expected delivery time.

Overall, Aaron and his team did a good job. I'll probably order from them again.

Share on: I ordered a product review and a blog post. The product review was excellent. It was very detailed and engaging. The blog post was pretty good, but not as good as the "product review". Delivery time was a little disappointing but I didn't need them immediately so it wasn't a big deal. I ordered them on Wed. 2/12 and received the review on Monday 2/17 and the blog post on Tue. 2/18. Valentines day was on Friday 2/14 and Monday 2/17 was a National holiday here in the States so that may have added to the longer than expected delivery time. Overall, Aaron and his team did a good job. I'll probably order from them again. 7/10

I didn't expect the work to be completed within 2 days. Furthermore, the article was so professional and informative. They gave me exactly what I wanted.
