Hey Anthony,

I run an web design and seo company in Atlanta, Ga. Have been doing Google Places / Local for our clients, but bunch of sales people coming on and referrals getting fast, so really need to sub this all out. Very excited by what I've seen / read so far.

We start building a new WP site for a tree removal service customer within the week. I would normally create the google local page first as they've been taking 2-3 weeks to get the card to verify address and such. During that time, we build the site, do citations, etc. When the card comes, we verify and then roll into SEO. From some things I've read on here, I'm getting the feeling that the new site isn't a huge issue (it will by optimized on page of course), but guessing you'll want the site done first, then build the citations while waiting on the card? Just trying figure out whether to hire you before site is built or after?

I've heard rumors, that since the move to Google+ Local, that they are now verifying by phone again? If so, that's great news for all of us, the card thing is a real drag. Many of our clients don't have an actual address in Atlanta, but to make the first page, we usually use a shared address with a letter or number added, i.e. 101-b, 101-c so the mail still gets delivered but Google doesn't flip out over the address being the same. Wondering if still have to go by post card, client's address is in Marietta, but wants listed for service no one will come to the location for in Atlanta...how do you navigate that?

Last question (for now :-) ), I have a number of clients that have multiple locations and so want to show for multiple townships, however, some locations are where clients come in and some are not? Also, as the website developer, the best answer I've got from my end, is to build a page (landing page of sorts) that is seo'd for each location and the appropriate keywords, leave it in the sitemap but out of the menu, then use the www.mysite.com/mariettaga/ as the url used in the google local listing page. The address and phone on each landing page will match. Is this the best way on my end to design to make it easier for you? Lastly, since I've never done this, I'm wondering do you guys do 75 or 150 citations then to each separate google local page and if so, how does brownbook and other local directories deal with having 5, 7 or however many so similar?

I would love to go after some clients with many, many local branches, so love to know that this can be handled and how so we can all get some juicy deals :-)

You can get the citations before the listing is live, that is recommended to establish some authority with Google before the listing goes live.

If you want to get your clients sites ranked higher in Google+ Local (formerly Google Places), and you want to work with professionals who do what they promise, and make your clients think you are some kind of SEO mystic, then get in touch with these guys.

Send them the info on your client, then buy the package they tell you to. My first two clients went to the "A" spot within 60 days , and have stayed there for the past 5 months. I have three more packages in queue, and have zero reason to doubt that I'm not going to be a hero again.

Let me start off by saying I couldn't be any more happy with the job these guys are doing. Earlier this year I noticed that Google was localizing our VERY competitive weight loss keyword. With all the changes going on (panda, etc.) Google dropped most of the organic listings down the page & placed Google Places listings (or blended results) right at the top.

Organically, we had front page placement for your URL but we were way at the bottom.

I figured we had to make a more aggressive push on Google Places. We already had a GP listing but we were showing up on the 4th page. Yikes!

I gave the account to these guys and they sky-rocketed my weak GP listing to the A spot of a competitive weight loss keyword. It took around 3-4 months to get the A spot. We were on Top 3 spot by the 2nd month.

Moreover, we replaced our biggest competitor and took over the top listing!

They are my go-to for all clients.

I can recommend the Google Places offerings here. I was really sceptical at first and put a pressure on the team to get results. Share on: Let me start off by saying I couldn't be any more happy with the job these guys are doing. Earlier this year I noticed that Google was localizing our VERY competitive weight loss keyword. With all the changes going on (panda, etc.) Google dropped most of the organic listings down the page & placed Google Places listings (or blended results) right at the top. Organically, we had front page placement for your URL but we were way at the bottom. I figured we had to make a more aggressive push on Google Places. We already had a GP listing but we were showing up on the 4th page. Yikes! I gave the account to these guys and they sky-rocketed my weak GP listing to the A spot of a competitive weight loss keyword. It took around 3-4 months to get the A spot. We were on Top 3 spot by the 2nd month. Moreover, we replaced our biggest competitor and took over the top listing! They are my go-to for all clients.
