Are you looking for reports or ebooks that will make you stand out? There's no better way to do that than with humor. Anyone can write boilerplate informational articles, and those kinds of articles certainly have their place. But if you're looking for content that's truly memorable, those articles won't cut it. You'll need an edge, and my writing style can provide it. Like the title says - humor, snark, panache, pizzazz, attitude....whatever you want to call it, it adds a punch to your content that can't be duplicated by any outsourcer or spinner. Let me make one thing crystal clear - I do NOT recommend this approach for sales copy, as humor distracts from the psychology of sales. But for end products, such as reports and ebooks, humor works wonders. It creates an instant and lasting likability for you as the perceived author. You come off like a down to earth person who doesn't take himself too seriously, and can make people smile..in other words, exactly the kind of person most people want to spend more time with. This is invaluable for your future marketing efforts. If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, take a look at the sample I've linked to. I wrote it a few years ago, and I have permission from the client to share it. It got a lot of good feedback at the time, and the client was extremely pleased. It has several different styles of humor - political, smart aleck, self deprecating, observational, etc., and it's written in a breezy tone, but conveys a lot of good information. So check it out. The client did tell me to start off kinda slow with the humor, so read the first several chapters, or heck, just read the whole thing. Then, if you're interested in having me write for you, send me a PM, and we'll get the ball rolling. So here's the link. Knock yourself out: http://membermom.com/membermom_001.pdf I can also do "straight" writing, if that's what floats your boat. Either way, just let me know. |
