German translation service

Hello everyone,

first I want to introduce myself a little bit.
My name is Jens, I am 22 years old and currently studying for my Bachelor in Business Informatics.
I am quite new to the whole internet marketing topic and to start off and get a little seed money I have a offer for you.

I will translate everything you want into German.
No matter if it's a small article, an ebook or a whole website.
As a native German speaker I have the skills and the attitude to complete every job at the best.
A lot of potentiall customers may fear I could use the Google translator or another tool which just create a bunch of incoherently and simply messed up texts. Exspecially when the offer comes from freshly registered user without any forum post you should stay sceptical, but...

My translations are created by myself, without any tools!

I know a lot of you will remain sceptical that I will produce low quality translation.
But to prove my skills and to allay your fears I have a special offer for you.

My first three translations are for free (expired)

Of course there are a few terms for the free service.
1. The provided texts for the free translation shouldn't be much longer than 300 words.
2. You have to write a testimonial for my service.

Well I think everythink has been said. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Regards

Jens aka Develozard

Hello,

thanks for your interest.
This depends on the provided text. My rates start at $0,03 per Word. For difficult texts my rate is 0,04 per Word.

Though 500 words is quite a lot more than 300 words I would translate it for free this time.

I have been in the translation business quite some time, and the going rate from English to German is $0.10 per source word.

People offering $0.04 per word usually live at Hotel Mama and need not buy any food. Nobody can survive on such little money.

Such prices are just unethical and drive established translators who need to feed a family into poverty.

Viele Grüße

Hello,

to be honest, I didn't know how much to charge so i've searched the forum and $0,03 - $0,05 seemed to be a quite normal rate.

I am not living at my parents, but I have a stable income of my various side jobs, so I can comfortably pay my rent, my food and the fuel for my car.

Allthough I can understand your objections, this service is more like a hobby and not a try to drive any translator into poverty.
But you also have to keep in mind that an established translator has more experience, they have their customer base, maybe they also have a degree.
I am new in this forum and have to make myself a name first.
So charging the "normal" rate would be arrogant concerning my skills and unfair concerning my customers.

I hope you understand my arguments.
