We guarantee your new mobile website will be up and running within two business days. How long have you been building websites? We've been building websites since 1997. What information do I need to provide? You'll need to provide us with the links to the pages on your "non-mobile" site that you'd like on your mobile website. When it is finished, do you upload and test my mobile website? Yes! When it is ready, you'll need to provide us with your server login so we can install it. Do you outsource your work to third parties? No. To give you our "white glove" service, all of our work is performed by our in house staff located in Aurora, CO. Will I be able to track the progress of my project? Definitely! From the moment we start until your mobile website is live, we stay in constant contact via our Project Tracking System. |

Hi- Im in Denver also. I have a brick and mortar site for my biz. No mobile site although my site shows up on search for mobile. Q: Does the internet 'know' when someone is on a mobile and consequently only serve up the mobile site or can a user see and search the whole non-mobile site? |

Here is how it works...... when properly setup for mobile... 1. Customer browses to http://yoursite.com 2. If the customer is on a mobile device, she is redirected to the mobile website. You need to have two things... 1. The redirect script at http://yoursite.com to see if they are on a mobile device and redirect as needed. 2. The actual mobile website. I usually put it on a sub-domain such as http://m.yoursite.com Some businesses wonder if they need a mobile website.... or it is a passing fad. You really do need a mobile website because the vast majority of the "normal" websites are not built for mobile browsing. This morning, I came across a local business website that "cut off" the entire right side on my phone... I couldn't do anything... I couldn't scroll left and right... I was just dead in the water... I had to wait until I got home to actually use their website on my PC. Now, if I were a potential customer and needed to buy something right away... You know what I would have done... Gone to Bing... and see who else offered what I needed. If you have any other questions, fire away! All The Best, Rich Beck BCIP, MCSD, MCIS | |
