I am simply offering to spend some time on site (even an initial visit) if you feel it neccesary or would be more comfortable with it. **

With my virtual team, resources and experience I give them more value for their advertising budget than any service I am aware of. This is pretty much on autopilot now and it is time for something new and exciting.

I have worked every type of niche from Online Florist, Penny Auctions, to National Private Investigation firm. At the beginning of my career I worked for large corporations including Costco, Alcatel and FileMaker and have managed teams, software development and six figure ad budgets. I have used all of this experience to put together a killer virtual business model that delivers great return on investment for my clients.


What EXACTLY do you do for a client?

Whatever it takes! I will perform a full analysis of your situation and formulate a plan to help reach your goals. If you need more web sites we will build them, need vids, articles, images, social media posting, link building? We will get it done. Need to streamline everything with software? We will get it done.

The Only Thing I Have NOT Given My Clients In 10 Years?

My physical presence on site. Believe it or not I have never met most of my clients in person! Many of my clients are in the UK and USA and I live and work from Canada. I am good at what I do and this has afforded me the luxury of choosing where and when I would work. I have worked hard to be in this position because my goal was to be home with my children full time until they went off on their own. I stopped working on site for anyone more than 12 years ago and have accomplished this goal. The kids have now flown the coop.

What’s The New Opportunity?

Children have moved out and my wife and I are ready to travel!
This means that I am willing to come to you if needed and together we will do whatever it takes to put your business ahead of the rest. While I do an excellent job working remotely there is no doubt that being able to spend real time with you and your business will have significant advantages.

How Long Will I Work On Site?

That is to be discussed. The primary stipulation is that whatever length we agree upon the expense of travel and lodging is yours. We can work together on site for a week or several months. Periodic visits can be arranged. However long it takes for us to be comfortable we have laid the groundwork for our progress to continue once I leave and resume working remotely.

Locations & Budgets?

Locations: Well you know the old saying, location is everything and in this case it plays a major role. During the winter months on site visits will only be with a business that is somewhere warm. If you are near an ocean you get major bonus points. I can travel pretty much anywhere. My wife will accompany me so it must be somewhere safe. The more appealing the location the more likely your project will be chosen.

Budget: This is just a guide and to be determined based on project and location. A minimum 10k retainer (may vary based on project and location) to prove you are serious and have me show up on site plus travel expenses and lodging for two. It is also important to note that my wife plays an integral role in my business and having her along is of great value.

Other potential fees and expenses are to be discussed and are dependent on project scope, and location. I will use my resources to grow your business BUT it may be necessary to have budgets for things such as sponsored ads, media buys, social media and other various items. If you are under the impression you can build a multimillion dollar business with no budget we are not a good fit.

What Kind Of Deals Have I Worked Before?

Working remotely, deals have always involved a prepaid retainer followed by monthly fees/incentives. Minimum duration of contract to be discussed. The monthly set fee and project choices I make are always based on how interested I am in the niche and what other incentives are being offered such as commissions etc.. I always strive to ensure that I make my clients much more money than I cost them! If I do not think that it is possible I will NOT take the job.

Partnerships

Every week someone sends me a great offer of becoming their partner.
99% of these offers are for me to work for straight commissions and if I am as good as I say I am then we will all be rich! That is NOT a partnership that is an investment. I currently already have some great investments thanks!

I do entertain a combination of set fees and then pay based on sales/performance but if a large part of my earnings will be based on future sales of a relatively new and unproven business be prepared to write an upfront check that will make your eyes water. Taking on such a deal is a huge risk and responsibility for me.

In regards to an initial very large upfront retainer I have done a few deals like this and they worked out okay for all concerned because I turn down 99% of those that are just pie in the sky. I would have felt like an ass taking someones money if I don't believe I can make them money. I have a sixth sense of when something is doomed to failure and I am not shy about telling the truth. If I can keep someone from losing their life's savings its worth being viewed as a dick and I have lived long enough to know there is no profit in taking anything from anyone if you cannot give back accordingly.

Projects Most Likely To Be Chosen?

• MOST IMPORTANT – A business or service that has the potential to be number 1. It does not matter how good I am at marketing, if your business or service cannot deliver or has no real value or if you are not motivated to be the best we are not a good fit.
• A niche I find interesting, a new concept etc...
• A project that has the potential to make everyone great returns that may include profit share/commissions etc.. for some time to come.
• In winter if on site is required must be somewhere warm
• Other times of year somewhere that I would like to visit
• Projects that offer other incentives such as amazing locations, accommodations, people, experiences etc.. (for example you may own a resort that needs promotion)
• Projects that have a reasonable budget. This is best suited to those with a 10k+/monthly budget.
  

Commitment On Your Part

First off on site is not mandatory and if you choose to have me on site you do NOT need to host me 40 hours per week BUT you must be willing to commit to being available to me so that we can move things along. You must also commit to opening up aspects of your business that relate to sales and marketing and ensure that any of your employees that work with me are cooperative and responsive. I need to get a feel for your business and any data that will help us achieve our goals.

I am more than happy to sign non-disclosure and non-compete agreements if applicable. Also note that I do not work for an existing clients competitors.
As a consultant, software developer and marketing expert I have been exposed to every type of business you can imagine during my career. This has given me the ability to very quickly review a business and determine what the issues are to increasing sales and profits.

I am NOT shy about telling you what is what. If you are not looking for honest answers, we are not a good fit. If you think the ONLY reasons you are not doing well is marketing and are not willing to accept my input regarding your sales conversion process and service delivery then we are also not a good fit.

I LOVE WHAT I DO AND am very passionate about what I do.
Getting paid is NOT enough, I want to look back on my career and see a string of success stories not just pay checks. Perhaps you will be one of them.

How Long Will You Come Work On Site?

- depends on project scope, location and requirements. Could be 2 weeks, 2 months or much longer depending on the opportunity.

My goal is not to permanently work on site in a traditional job role. Instead it is designed to ensure that we build a relationship and system and that I connect fully with your business. We can then together put a plan in place to make sure things continue to run smoothly when I am not on site. If the business is somewhere amazing and the offer provides proper incentives I am not opposed to relocating or having a second home nearby. It is my intention however to see the world over the next decade. Given I have been managing projects remotely for over a decade it is a non issue.
