I have a product (more specifically an app) that I made and I need to find someone who knows internet marketing really well to help me market it and generate downloads. I have close to zero experience with internet marketing and I just read a crash course on SEO. I want someone who can do at least SEO, article submission, and social media marketing extremely well, but I would prefer someone who could do a lot more than that. Those are the only few things I know about due to my lack of experience. Can anyone tell me what I should look for in an applicant to see whether or not he is qualified and can bring me positive results? What questions should I ask? How can I tell if he really is a good catch and knows what he is doing? Regarding SEO and article submission, how can I tell he is actually an expert at it? Should I spend some time understanding more about internet marketing before I decide to find someone who can do it? |

That is entirely up to you. I personally learned who was good at what by buying and trying. Fiverr.com is a good place if you want to do this. You will have to go through a few terrible ones before you find the good, but at $5 for linkbuilding is not too bad. I personally charge much more than that, but I do most of my linkbuilding by hand nowadays, at least any links to my money site, or app in your case. Do you have a website that discusses your app? That may be a better route to go than just trying to market your app directly via article marketing.
