My First REAL website - Need some reviews Please

Hi everyone, I've just finished building my first proper website and would very much appreciate some honest reviews. I have built this myself with a very small budget and it's been a real learning curve for me.

This is a business I am going to be running with my son (a personal trainer) and I want to make sure that the site front page is going to get people to look further.

Site is located DailyFitness4u | Personal Training & Weightloss Solutions

Thanks for your help with this, and look forward to your comments.

Regards
Paul.

Looks great. Keep in mind you literally have seconds to capture your audience's attention.

Question, what is your USP? And what is your angle. Ultimately, what are you trying to achieve with this site?
Will you be offering exercising routines? Routine videos? Weight loss program? Tips? Meal plans? Etc

As a fitness fan myself i am more than happy to see this website. Even it might sound a little harsh what i am going to tell you, i want to share a honest client POV, because i usually follow this kinds of sites and programs to learn more. So take my opinion in a constructive way.

That header is way too huge. It doesn't contain that much information for that amount of space. I guess the idea is that the girl in background to be seen, which is artistic nothing to argument on that, but is not practical. I really had to scroll down to see any kind of actual information about your website and navigate around, patience offered just for this review. In 3 seconds of not seeing nothing about what i am going to get on your website i am usually leaving. Don't get me wrong, it look niceee, but it's not practical at all. I want to see some information from the start, without even needing to scroll. Remember: your website is about information, it's supossed to be practical. You're not an artist or pop star with no content to rely on aesthetics only . This is the kind of website a fitness model would have ( in this format), not a fitness trainer. Feel me?
Remember: your audience ( including me) workout, cook healthy meals, follow a specific routine, we don't have the patience to deal with artistic non-senses. I want to enter, get information, save website if its useful, get out. That's it . Your website just make me confuse .

Please don't take it the wrong way, i love the initiative and this kind of stuff, but it's not practical for me at all the way it is displayed. I would prefer a default wordpress theme and like it better than this complicated fancy theme you have .
I would go with something like this, e-magazine styled. even if you want to make people to subscribe or pay to see some premium content, you still need free articles and stuffs like this. And most websites i follow from fitness/bodybuilding are in the same way displayed as the one bellow , that means i am not the only one with this opinion.

Bottom line: i think this kind of layout like yours is for websites with no content, like artists homepages, companies homepages, product selling, stuff like this. It's not suitable for informational websites, something with content. And i see a lot of people choosing this kind of design (for reasons i don't actually understand ) for content websites and i have to tell you, i really don't like at all ! Keep it simple.

I really hope this help you out and keep it up! I will add this website to my bookmarks anyway to see how you guys evolve. Best of luck !

Your website looks great, it's a plus that you consider the responsiveness of the website.

In my opinion, think you need to add more information on your home page on what exactly to expect on the website.

One question: How are you gonna monetize the site?

    Best of luck.

The site is a paid membership site. The monthly fee covers use of the Fitness Centre online tools and mobile apps plus direct help from a personal trainer to help members get fit and lose weight. Did the info on the front page not explain that enough ?

      Thanks for your comments.

Great imagery on the whole page and a very nice looking site!

If you are looking for things to change, then personally I'd recommend a different image at the bottom of the page so you don't repeat the same one. The photos used are very nicely lit and all go together, so try and see if you've got a similar image to replace it with (maybe a different pose or a different person - maybe a guy to attract a wider crowd?).

I'd also try and get rid of your footer and replace it with your copyright info (Designed by Elegant Themes | Powered by WordPress).

And lastly, it says "Logout" on the bottom left when I'm not logged in. Is this something you can change or remove?

These are quite minor things though and as a whole the site looks great, you've done a great job!

In my opinion you need to add more content to the website. It looks really empty right now! Also the cookies information at the top should be out of the header. Do you know what I mean?

All I all I guess it is a wordpress theme so you should make a lot more out of the website. Good luck with your site.

Your website looks good and clean. Here are my comments though:
    -I like you color scheme.
-You have a nice font style.
-Removing the white background of the monitor and other gadgets on the Online Fitness would be better.
-I think the logo on the footer looks weird and out of place. Maybe put it on the left side and add some content about the site beneath.
Again, you have a nice and simple website. Hope it helps.

    Everything looks great.

As far as a practicality concern, I felt curious where the heck I should click.

Then... The cookies statement I don't think is necessary at the bottom... Should it still be on the website? absolutely... but the format for it, I'm too sure.

    Everything else? It looks AWESOME

I would do the faster animations on pictures and text. Its kinda slow like this. On CSS:Hover at main menu i would change the color of text like this i hardly see which one i selected.

Anyways great page you can always ignore my suggestions im not pro either.

Nice color, soft design. Now just add a ICON and where is the Site Description & Keyword?
