Hey all,

I'm looking for an easy, SAFE opt-in plugin for my Wordpress blog - MompreneurInk.com. I need it to be smart and visually appealing. I'm considering Optinmonster because it seems to have everything I need and be easy to work with. Any others you can recommend? It needs to have templates with soft colors in them because my site is geared to women.

TIA!

You don't want to use Aweber or Getresponse?

Aweber is the most customizable and reliable opt-in plugin from my experience. And very aesthetically appealing. It does come at a cost though.

Recently downloaded optimize press 2.0 and so far I am very impressed. It makes creating landing pages so much easier with little work required.

I'll get a lot of hatemail from software developers for saying this but if you use any decent email autoresponder you won't even need a third party software, because you can simply design a decent opt-in form using the code that the email service provider gives you.

Will it have all the "Guru Magic" that the big software suites offer? Probably not, but in my experience simplicity out-coverts "Guru Magic".

I wish you the best, and if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask...

Unfortunately at this point, I'd have to say stay away from Hybrid Connect. I purchased Hybrid Connect 6 days ago, as well as the upsell for WP Sharely. All told - over $200.

I worked dillegently with the plugin and determined it was not going to do what I was looking for. So I asked for a refund, well within the 30 day 100% guarantee.

I have been getting the run around now with support on this ticket. I've sent them everything I have, including the receipts paypal sent me. I've explained that I used a credit card and did not login to a paypal account. I even pointed out that the only way to get the software is to login with the username and password that THEIR system sends after purchase - to prove I purchased.

I'm still not being taken care of. Last response was from a support tech saying "forwarding to account" and dead silence again.

Unfortunately, having been in this industry and working with wordpress for a very, very, very long time - and being a wordpress theme developer myself - I cannot recommend any plugin where they cannot honor their promised obligations.

There are a number of other plugins available, and I've gone through 6 in the last week. In all cases their support and responses have been wonderful - except for Hybrid Connect. In my opinion, it's definitely a "buyer beware".

Ninja Popups is only $20 on Themeforest.net

There's another one called Generation Plugin which has a lot of features but I've never used it before. Google it

I've tried at least 50+ over the years but keep coming back to ConstantContact.com & MailChimp.com ---> CC is super user-friendly & easy for my clients to use & manage while MC is geared for high-end campaigns / developers / integration <--- last time I checked they both have free starter plans as well
