Tagging Images Using Yoast SEO Plugin
Wondering if anyone here has used or is using the Yoast SEO plugin? My question regards "tagging" images with supposed keywords. To understand my question, my website is an image licensing database consisting of thousands of cartoons which I have categorized into catalog pages. For instance, here are my construction cartoons and if you notice, by clicking that image link in the yellow banner underneath each image, it opens up a separate page and at very bottom is a "tag" or "tags" associated with each cartoon. Here is my question: should the word "cartoon" follow each tag? Say Construction cartoon 62 has a "fisherman" keyword, wouldn't "fisherman cartoon" be better? Or? Seems as though very few people use the Yoast plugin, as I cannot get a straight answer to this basic question....it seems a bit frustrating.
Any insights would be appreciated. Btw, how many tags are allowable and how many are too much? 5 words? 7 words? Or?
