Hi there,
I hope I can get some feed back to my question.

I have an offline business. I install epoxy floor and concrete staining.
My website is on the first page of Google for ALL of my search phrases and has been for a very long time.
I want to switch hosting providers because I've found one that I believe is a faster server than the host gator acct I currently use.

My question is could this switch affect my page one ranking for my search phrases? I'm on the WordPress platform and use Backus Buddy as my back-up and cloning system. My website is Garage Flooring Atlanta - Atlanta Epoxy Garage Flooring. Call Today !

You may find a temporary drop in rankings when you move the site.

The most important thing you need to do is copy the site over to the new host before you change DNS to point to the new host.

This ensures that there is zero downtime.

Just remember to keep the old host active for at least 2-3 days after you swap to the new host as it can take a while for the DNS changes to propagate.
